Summary: A miracle or just one perfect company...
Review: It's hard to believe that it has been more than 4 years since StarCraft was released and Blizzard Entertainmet is ready to release another game.

With their struggle in time to release their games on time, Blizzard has always set their foot on creating and innovating games that puts all others in the dust. With only 3 series of games... WarCraft, Diablo, and StarCraft... they have dominated all other game companies with markets sales that exceed into millions.

They have inspired gamers all over the world with Diablo and StarCraft,... and they are ready to do it again with the upcoming game WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos. I believe that it truly will be a 'reign of chaos' when the game is released.

Btw... the Collector's Edition is worth buying for the cost! ....

Summary: Bravo for Blizzard!!!!
Review: "We never payed any heed to the ancient prophecies...like fools we clung to the old hatreds...and fought as we had for generations...until the day the sky rained fire and the new enemy came among us...we stand now on the brink of destruction...for the reign of chaos has come at last..."

I remember first seeing that trailer 3 years (?) ago and thinking "man I can't wait until next year when it comes out!" And then when they kept pushing it back, and back, and back, I thought maybe my grandchildren would be around to play this, but not me. Well, it's finally being released!!!! From what I can see of the game, and what I've read, I think it's [almost] worth the wait. Unlike other game companies, Blizzard PERFECTS its games, which have been 5 (not including expansions) over the last 8 or so years, to where they are almost perfect, instead of trying to push out game after game as fast as they can. It's this dedication that pays off when their games sell milions of copies and get Game of the Year, and their battle.net multiplayer server crashes because of the sheer multitude of people wanting to play their excellent games (they say it's not gonna happen this time) on the day a game comes out! Anyone who hates Blizzard because they take so long on their games (I have also been so unforgiving in the past) should understand this! This is the reason they are so good! The Lord of the Rings wouldn't have sold 100 million copies if J.R.R. Tolkien hadn't have been such a perfectionist. I hope that in time people will forgive them for their perfectionism once they actually play the game and see for themselves how it can pay off.

On other matters, this collectors' edition is an excellent idea (I know they did it with Diablo II). If you look on Blizzard's site, you will find the Starcraft dvd for $[money], which is about than the difference in price between the collectors' edition and the regular. Well, you get a Warcraft III dvd with this one, and I'll bet it will cost $[money] if they ever release it outside the collectors' edition. Being a big movie score fan, I am also looking forward to the soundtrack cd, which I expect will be fantastic. You also get a coffe table book of never-before-seen Blizzard artwork and 4 cards with the 3 types of heros on them. It's worth it to pay...more for all of these (I'd guess the items themselves would sell for $[money] without the game). Being a huge fan, I ordered my collectors' edition over 3 months ago, and I hope that any *true* fan of Blizzard games will also pick one of these up...

Summary: Perfecting a business
Review: Blizzard has yet again proven itself as not only the uncontested leader of the computer entertainment industry, but also one of the only companies, from a business standpoint, that has never failed, at ANY time, to produce a product which leaves its competitors in the dust and its customers deeply satisfied. Warcraft III, and all of Blizzard's games, are consistently the highest quality of computer entertainment there is, simply put.
Those who have experienced the excellence that Blizzard demands of itself need no convincing to buy this game with the collector's edition bonuses. Those of you reading this who are yet unfamiliar with the game can rest assured that you will not be disappointed and that your money will be very well spent.

Summary: Brilliant!
Review: I deeply loved Warcraft 2 and I'd loved to play again. I also loved StarCraft. But I think Warcraft 3 will be the ultimate Stragety game ever! Unless a new StarCraft game comes out. But who knows when that will be. I bought the collectors edition the second day I found out about it. And since I saw information, screen shots, and even desktop images, I have not stopped visiting the Warcraft 3 website. So I know this will be my favorite game.

Summary: Simply Amazing
Review: I greatly enjoyed Warcraft 1, then when Warcraft 2 was released, I loved that even more. The graphics were much much better and the sound was cool. But now I look at Warcraft 3. I'm just amazed. People bicker and complain because Blizzard takes so long to release their games, but I give them credit. They're taking time to perfect them. I'd rather wait a little while and get a game thats nearly flawless instead of one thats full of bugs. Diablo 2 took a long time before it was finally released, and I was very impressed. It kept my attention even today. I'm positive that Warcraft 3 will do the same. I've already placed my pre-order with Amazon for this stunning Colletor's Edition masterpiece.

Summary: won't take my heart from starcraft
Review: I've been playing the beta, and probably the best part of this game is the graphics. Incredible terrain, unit pictures and sound effects aren't amazing me.
In gameplay, I'd say that starcraft ultimately defeats warcraft 3 in the fact that it's not an rpg strategy. It seems that a game like starcraft would take more skill. This game focuses more on micro managing a group of 12 units which to me wasn't all that captivating. I believe it takes more skill to micro manage a group of zealots/goons then a group of 12 footmen with defend on while they attack a base. And this is 10 minutes into the game.
I'm still gonna be playin starcraft when this game comes out. If ur looking for a game that'll plug ur time slots, this one will fill them up.

Summary: Apples and Oranges
Review: Would you rather watch Star Wars at a theater or on a 20 inch TV in VHS? Simple answer, right? Same goes with the War3 Collector's Edition. I had bought the StarCraft Cinematics DVD as more of a trinket to myself (StarCraft was awesome. War3 is no different). When I popped it into my DVD player, I was blown away. Blizzard cleans up EVERYTHING, all pixelations, blurs, etc. They even added some nice touches in the DVD; things like more lighting effects, detail and such. The DVD with the War3 collector's edition should be no different. Packed full of clarity, color, and vibrant sound. The same reasons why you would go see Star Wars on the big screen.

Summary: A Game That Beats Starcraft
Review: I personally have played the Warcraft III beta test version for several weeks and I have to say that it beats Starcraft. I liked it so much that I had to delete it. Oxymoron? No: I had to delete the game because of the amount of time I spent playing it; it is "hella" addicting. The gameplay is completely on the other end of the spectrum compared to Starcraft. In Starcraft the strategy was to create as many troops as you could. In Warcraft III, the strategy is to get a couple of units and heavily upgrade them. The units that have pivotal powers during battle are the heroes (a max. of three for each race). Without leveling up your heroes, your army - though superior in numbers - will undoubtedly fail. Think of Warcraft III as a combination of Diablo and Starcraft (or earlier Warcrafts). The hero side of Warcraft III is based upon Diablo I/II while the strategy part is based upon Warcraft/Starcraft. Mankit Li is very sexy. Puja Mahtani is also very sexy... Get Warcraft III.
