Summary: Viva La EverQuest!
Review: Well as oposed to the guy who said to just not buy it, do not listen to him! This is easily the best on-line roleplaying game around, and yes there is ...a month[ly] fee, but when you play it you'll get addicted and not want to play any other games. Its honestly that good. It is a game that is forever changing never the same. You meet wonderful new people, and make deadly enemies, you travel to the farthest reaches of the world, discovering Cyclops and gigantic Dragons that fill the screen with their hard to believe size. Trust me go out and get this game you will NOT be dissapointed.

Summary: Is it worth is!!!
Review: It's true that this game is very addictive, and that you need to pay $10 a month to play. But why do you think it is that are are constanly 80k people on during peak hours, and all paying $10 a month to play it? Because it's fun, and is worth the money. Also i anticipate the release of this game because it will just add to the fun, plus add some really cool new graphics. So i dont feel that this game should be given a bad review just cause of the money it costs to play it. Just dont play if your not willing to pay the money, if you are, its a great game, and youll have tons of fun playing it.

Summary: Most anticipated game ever
Review: this series has fast become the biggest online game in history, the original finally takes the joy of R.P.Ging to a multiplayer level....ever since the three player secret of mana( the best game of all time) i have been long awaiting a classic multiplayer role playing game i could really get into, long have i waited, finally my years have ended everquest offers everything icould ever want....secret of mana offered the satisfaction of beating a game with two of your mates while everquest offers you the fun of killing monsters and slaughtering opposition with thousand, hundreds of thousands of other like minded people. thank you god for this offering we accept it gladly...lets hope this new everquest can live up to old standards and bring me many more joyous years of online gaming.....without this and diablo II then what would anyone do for fun....i mean women are one thing but R.P.Gs are twice the fun and less nagging :)

Summary: Addiction?
Review: Lets see...if this game wasn't worth a flip, maybe you wouldn't get addicted...with new graphic enhancements and new zones, this expansion will probably be worth the thirty dollars...if you can't afford thirty dollars, you can't afford Everquest anyway and you need to go play your big guns games. Just my opinion

Summary: Very addictive!!!
Review: At first I really didn't care for the game because I failed to read some of the internet sites on how to stay alive, so I died a lot. Once you get the hang of it the game is great. This expansion will improve the graphics ten-fold and once again add more room to explore. This is by far the best RPG I have ever played. As for the monthly fee it comes out to 33 cents a day, less than a coke. One last thing, the people that play this game are great. It's amazing how many of them will help you even with so called stupid questions. If you play then it's a no brainer that you will get the x-pansion. If you haven't tried everquest give it a shot. The basic game is $10.

Summary: Awesome Game
Review: This is probably the most fun online game I've ever played. I have been a gamer for many years. It is a very complex world, but without the frenzied complexity you find in most first person shooters. Sure you have to pay 10 bucks a month to play (actually less if you buy months in advance) but the game is constantly being improved and grown. There are constantly people to help you out and fix bugs and add content. The game is literally an ever quest. You can do as much or as little as you like. You can fish or kill giants, make beer or hunt Orcs, anything you like as it suits YOU--not some over-caffeinated, over-stressed programmer trying to come up with the next high volume Doom. There is no pre-determined script you must follow to get from the beginning to the end. There is no beginning and no end. You just play. Of course that is what is all about anyway after all.

Summary: its worth the 10 bucks a month
Review: Ok, for those that think that having to pay for a game to play online is completely bogus you are wrong. Try this game and trust me when I say it is the best roleplaying game out there. I stand behind the EQ team for there work and efforts, it has payed off. This game is addictive, but hey you'll love it a guarantee that. Hope to see you soon in the world of EQ!

Summary: Worth it?
Review: Oh yes. Sure Everquest is addicting and I salute the creators for doing a fine job. $10.00 a month is but a few mere coppers considering the fun it gives. With the new Luclin expansion this December, utilizing the newer graphics engine with DX8... All most people will be able to say is, "Wow!" So pre-order Everquest: Shadows of Luclin and count the days to explore Norrath's moon!

Summary: Wait.... Don't do it!
Review: If you plan on buying this new expansion to the Everquest saga then read on my friend. Read on.

I have heard many people say this game should be called "Evercrack." Let me tell you... IT IS!!! If you want a life or plan on staying involved in a serious relationship outside your online gaming life DON'T BUY THIS GAME.

The original game was and is highly addictive. I can not imagine just how much more imersive the new game will be. And I mean "new" game.

Although the concept is the same. Venture through many lands that can take upwards of hours to walk to in real life time. Fight a ton of differnt monsters. Go on epic quests to "save the world". And even strike fear into the hearts of the gods. The new graphics engine will make the game that much more intense.

I've seen the new screenshots. I've seen the game engine in action. And being an addict all I can say is, "Super killer sweet!" The new graphics are great! And as Verant's ever lasting drive to perfect this neverending world continues I can only imagine how much better it will be even after this expansion comes out.

So like I said. Don't buy this game if you have never played EQ. Don't think twice about clicking the "back" button on your browser in moving slowly away from your computer. Because this is one seriously addictive game.

But for those addicts out there... I know your pain my brothers and sisters. I know your pain.
