Summary: Fun sequel to Dracula: The Ressurection
Review: If you liked the first one, you'll probably like this one and if you hated it, you will most definately hate this one. I personally love these first person adventure games. The goal is to basically advance the storyline by solving puzzles and collecting items that must be used in various ways such as unlocking doors, killing enemies, etc. It is no gory killing spree, or terror fest like Silent Hill or Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. It is purely atomospheric and if that is not your cup of tea I suggest avoiding this game and others like it. The only big difference between the gameplay of this one and the first is that you can actually die in this one. My advice is to save frequently and most definately do so as soon as the timer bar with the receding red appears. Anyway, the story picks up where the first left off (in fact the opening cut scene is the finale of the first game). This game is slightly longer than the first and like the first can be divided into two parts: London and Transylvania. In London you must travel by sewer around to different buildings to collect items that will allow you to find Dracula's hiding place there. In Transylvania you must sneak back into Castle Dracula and make your way to the Sanctuary. Once there you must solve challenges in three initiation rooms and you will then be able to enter Dracula's Last Sanctuary and defeat him. All of the chilling, gothic settings are beautifully rendered and like the last one the only short-comings are the cheesy animated cut scenes. The computer graphics are rather cheap so the characters move rather robotic. The voice acting is also poor. But these are not really that important to the gameplay. The real fun comes from advancing through all the creepy strongholds and underground passageways till you reach your destination.

Summary: Worth It
Review: My husband and I love to sit and play these kind of games together and solve the clues. This game was alot of fun. The puzzles weren't that hard, the story line was good and the ending didn't leave you disappointed.
