Summary: An OK game
Review: This game fun sometimes, but is can also be really anoying. I hate the roller coaster design thing because it is hard to use. I hate when I have built the world best roller coaster only to find I can't connect the last piece of track. Overall this is an OK game.

Summary: Agruabally The Best Computer Game
Review: Roller Coster Tycoon blows the Sim City series out of the water. In this game you try to complete objectives by building an amusements park that will keep your guests happy. You will get a limited amount of money to start than once your park becomes popular you can raise prices to earn more money. Your park will only do good if you have crazy rides and food, drink, and bathrooms. You can put out add campaigns and hire and fire workers. Every kind of stand and ride you can think of will be in this game. If you don't want to use the standard designs for the rides you can come up with your own crazy concaktion and by the way the guests will like that a lot better. You will wish you can go to these parks, ride these rides, and eat these foods. I strongly suggest that you get this game whatever age you are.

Summary: Still Playing After Over Two Years
Review: Yes, it's that good. Despite the lack of a sandbox mode (totally freeform play a la Bullfrog's classic Theme Park), RollerCoaster Tycoon keeps proving to be an interesting game with all kinds of fun behind it. Actually, I think it keeps proving to be interesting BECAUSE there isn't a sandbox mode. Since you have to do scenarios, each presents a different type of challenge. Having a sandbox mode usually means that you do all the cool stuff with the game first, then toss it aside waiting for the next piece of new software to come down the pipe. In RCT, you have to *work* for the good stuff. The wild Vertical coaster doesn't appear until you have worked through at least half of the challenges presented. Once you have gone through all 25 scenarios, more await with the Loopy Landscapes expansion pack, which has all kinds of new stuff to work with (including coasters that didn't exist at the time RCT was released), and stretches the game engine to the limits. Just remember, remain seated please and keep your hands firmly on the mouse and keyboard when playing. Enjoy the ride!

Summary: Customizable customization, colors coasters details
Review: First of all, this is not Sim City, nor was it even made by the company, but that is a good thing in this case. The first difference is that rather than starting with some random piece of land to build your park, you pick a scenario to beat! The controls are far easier than Sim City and it flows more smoothly and there are far more details like walking people that get hungry, angry, thirsty, sick and tired. You must make sure they have fun! By building steel, standing, corkscrew, wooden, and backward coasters, yada yada, Ferris wheels, motion simulators, merry-go-rounds, log rides and you get the picture. You can customize everything in the game, the color of the ride, the speed of the ride, how many loops or laps everything has. However, you need to be careful of three things when it comes to rides. The excitement to get the people on the ride, the intensity to make sure they get a thrill and the nausea factor to make sure they don't throw up, but when they throw up, that's when you hire maintenance people who walk around cleaning stuff.

Summary: Probably Greatest Strategy EVER!!
Review: Designing the next Alton Towers would be most people's dream and now you can! This game is easy to pick up and it is perfect!
You can design your own roller coaster way more sophistacatedly than on any other theme park games.
* You can higher or lower land.
* Add all sorts of scenery
* The people actually say a variety of different things and do a variety of different things. It tells you how much money each person has and what they are carrying as well as their favourite ride and lots of other stats.
* Litter and vandalism must be kept away by hiring staff and building litter bins.
* There are around twenty different landscapes, each with their own objectives. + you can buy add on packs to add loads more
* It is possible to actually play a perfect replica of Alton Towers and Blackpool Pleasure Beach if you get the Loopy Landscapes add on pack.
* Your park can win all sorts of awards including safest, tidiest, best value, most beautiful, cleanest toilets and more!
* When you design a roller coaster, you can then test it and you can find out it's average/max speed, and it's excitement, intensity and nausea ratings.
* I accidently killed 30 people because the brakes failed on my roller coaster.
* Your park is rated so you need this to be high to pass most objectives, plus the guest toll or the park value. There are usually time limits.
Overall: I would rate this in the top ten most fun games on any console/computer. If you own Theme Park World like me, You will be amazed on the huge gap between them! GET IT!

Summary: A Good Solid Game
Review: This is a great game, for the first month-and-a-half I was totally addicted. The game has you thinking about every aspect of the park. The rides, yor financial state, your employees, even the people themselves. you can actually click on a single person and see how hungry they are, if they fell sick, if they have to go to the bathroom, and what ride intensity they prefer. There are only two reasons that it did not recieve a five star rating from me. Number one, when you build a roller coaster you must be extreemly carefull not to make the ride too intense or too nauseating, or else nobody will want to ride it. Nuber two, after a while I found myself becoming board of the game, however it was probobally because I played it for so long without playing anything else. So I suggest if tou find yourself frustrated or board with the game, stop playing it and do something else for a week or two. I promise that when you pick it up again you will be perfectly hapy with it once again.

Summary: Best Roller Coaster game Created!
Review: Roller Coaster tycoon is the best simulation game that i have ever played. Being a roller coaster fanatic, and being on the tallest and fastest roller coasters in the world, i know what makes a great roller coaster. This game includes all the neccisary tools to make a great park of your design. Make your own Six Flags park. Every roller coaster* (*if you have Added Attractions, Coarkscrew Follies, and Loopy Landscapes) includes all the current moves form the design of major roller coaster designer Ron Toomer (possible spelling error)including cobra roll, corkscrews, camelbacks, power launches, reverse inclines, Helix, banked turns, inversions, bunny hills, 30-90 degree decents (depending on what coaster you are using) and boosters both on track and on the chain lift. Possibly the only fault of the game is that Roller coasters can't be made "giga-coasters". One of the best functions of the game is the object. It isnt just building roller coasters and getting people on them, it is building a functioning park that the people like. You can even theme your park or just your roller coaster into egyption, jarasic, futuristic and about 10 more. Every type of roller coaster made otday is on Roller caster tycoon including other types of rides such as log flumes, water slides, monorails, simulators, carousels, 3-D simulators, and other classic rides/attractions. Make food courts to keep your guests happy and make sure you have handymen mechanics, security guards, and enterainers to keep your park in top condition. One other good part of the game is you can completly change the terrain, make it a sandy beach park or a spooky ghost town by sound effects ot terrain changes. If you are going ot buy any simulation game, buy RCT, even without an expansion pack this is a 5-star game.
