Summary: This is the best game ever! Execpt for the cheat codes. :P
Review: I love this game! It has all these cool cars! Once I got the American LaFrance Eagle Fire Truck. But since my computer died, I have to start over again. I'm working to get the Panoz GTR-1. And hey, don't be wastin' your money on lame games like Grand Theft Auto 2. Get this one. It'll be your moneys worth!

Summary: It's OK!!!
Review: I think this is a fine game at first but in a month it gets kinda boring. Also, when it loads it takes up to 2 mins and i have a P3 933 mhz with 128 ram and a 32 mb video card. Like someone said before this game has a few bugs. Like when the cops chase me for a while they turn around and leave!!????? Also it some cars damage is symmetrical. But i loove the brittish accent in london. All together this is a good game with a few bugs. PS if ANYONE FROM MICROSOFT IS READING THIS MAKE SURE IN MIDTOWN MADNESS 3 THAT IF YOU DRIVE PERFECTLY TO HAVE THE COPS NOT CHASE YOU AND ADD MORE CITES AND A HIGHWAY AND A DESERT AND BRING BACK CHICAGO!!!!!!

Summary: The Graphics Ruined it for me
Review: Well to start off the graphics are terrible. There so boxy and have no detail whatsover, even when i run it on the highest resolution. The controls are nice, but the gameplay sux. I want to just wanted to drive and mess around in the city, but right when i push the gas the cop gets on me for no reason which get's really annoying after about....10 seconds. And the street lights don't work correctly, when the light turns green the cars don't always go. If you like games that are boring and full of many errors that could have been easily avoided, then i guess you like this game

Summary: Annoying and difficult tests mar an otherwise good game
Review: The big flaw of this game is that you have to "unlock" the cars by performing various tasks or tests. Some of the tests are very difficult, meaning that you won't be driving some of these cars promised to you on the box's cover for quite some time. The first "midterm" for London Cabbie for example, requires very very precise driving within an extremely tight time period - one misstep, and you fail the "midterm" (kind of like being back in school!) Don't pass the midterm, and you still don't get to use the fire engine. That sort of thing. I personally feel we paid for the game, we should get all the features without having to run around likes rats in a maze. Besides that it's a great game, but this patronizing approach dings a couple of stars in my book.

Summary: Fun...not realism...is the name of the game
Review: This is NOT a racing simulator. The vehicles in this game do not respond much like real-life counterparts, but they're obviously not intended to. MM2, instead, presents you with fun challenges in a manner that, while taxing your driving skills, doesn't take in too much reality (i.e., you'll normally DIE when jumping whole city blocks at 120 mph in your Mustang Fastback). Don't buy this game thinking you can practice for your driver's ed exam; buy the game thinking, "Wow. Look how much fun I can have making pedestrians dive for their lives when I scream past them doing 150 mph on the sidewalk in a Panoz GTR-1." You'll be a heck of a lot happier.

That said, this game is a SCREAM. A quick machine will make the landscape fly by with a wonderful sensation of speed. The nighttime lighting effects are outstanding. Jumping the aforementioned whole city blocks actually made me feel the height and the sense of falling. Some of the scenarios are a bit frustrating at first, but most have some little trick that you'll pick up. Unlocking all the cars, at least in Amateur mode, is not too difficult. The online game is great. Even slow connections work well, and driving with others (in the same balls-out, sanity-be-damned manner) makes for some wild car chase scenes and incredible vehicular carnage.

There have been few games that have been as addicting for me as Midtown Madness 2, and I heartily recommend it for all but the most jaded and type-A simulation buffs.

Summary: Excellent game, with only couple of problems
Review: Midtown Madness 2 is a great sequel to the original Midtown Madness with 20 cars including the ones from the original. The original cars has been retuned with more realistic sound, graphics, and performance. The new cars include the Audi TT, Aston Martin, Mini Cooper, London Cab, fire truck, and the double decker bus with a few more. Graphics are excellent if you are on a powerful machine of about 500 MHz or higher with a 16 mb or higher video memory but a lower system will do the job pretty well. I have a 733 MHz machine with 32 mb of video memory and it works just fine. As the ... article say, it is hard to unlock some vehicles, but you can download the unlock for it at various download sites. Playing alone may become boring, and if you have a connection above 28.8 kbps, there is a great multiplayer site ... where you can race, cruise or play "cops and robbers". One of the two cons is that when you hit something at certain places very very very hard at like 200 mph, you may end up underground and will not be able to get out, but that's not likely. I enjoy the game very much and I hope you will too. Have fun!

Summary: Good but not too good
Review: I actually loved midtown madness at chicago, cruisin about, winning races, and well, getting away from cops! Midtown 2 is just the same and well, even better with 2 cities and more cars to your collection! San Francisco is the best place with real roads and real buildings! The cars such as Audi are perfectly detailed with every single gadget! Now, this game is great but if you have an old system requirment, the game will get slow, not detailed and bad! But with new system requirments, the game will become fantastic!

Summary: its cool (mm2cars.com)
Review: The best racing game I've ever played, even better than the first one! This game is worth the price! You can also get new cars for it by downloading them from Midtown Madness 2 sites also to keep the madness going!

Summary: Awesome Game
Review: This is one of the best games ever.I unlocked the LTV this morning. The Golden Gate Stunt Driving School Final was pretty hard.I still haven't finished being a cabbie yet.I'm on the Final of the East End Cab Company School of Driving. You can't drive my favorite(The LTV)until you finish the Golden Gate Stunt Driving School, but once you do,you'll be a terror on the street. If you choose a strong car you'll be able to push cops in the bay in San Francisco or in the river in London. In London there's a cool circuit race called "Underground"It goes into the "Tube".One drawback is it's too hard.I think I'm going to SUE Microsoft.
