Summary: Oh, My God
Review: This game is awesome. You have the freedom to do almost anything you want. The fun can never end, because once you have beaten all the missions, you can still set new "goals" for yourself. For example: How high can you get your wanted level using just a shotgun? Or how many people can you pick off with a sniper rifle in under a minute? These can provide hours of entertainment for you and your friends. Also, there are other hidden missions throughout the game as hidden packages and getting cars to certain garages. the freedom of this game is truly amazing, and it provides excellent (yet violent) entertainment.

*NOTE* This review was written after playing the game on Playstaion 2, but I expect the game on PC to be equally if not more entertaining

Summary: fun for the first five minutes
Review: I liked the originality of this game, but most of the missions are tedious, esp. the ones that require you to race against time. The fact that the console version doesn't allow you to save during a mission is simply silly...

Summary: Great Gameplay
Review: I was always a fan of GTA1 and GTA2 when I heard about 3 I had to see it. I played this game on my friends PS2 and it was AWESOME!!! so many different missions and never the same thing twice I cant wait for it to be out on PC!!!

Summary: This game is phat or off the hook
Review: You should get this game because it has cool graphics and it has some adult stuff.

Summary: The best game for the PC
Review: This is the best game. I have iton good authority that this version is to be superior to the PS2 version in every way. It is violent and crude, but that is the way the character is. By the way, you can fly the plane and the helicopter. If you can't wait for this, hang on HALO is coming to PC as well.

Summary: Best Game This Year!!!
Review: This is the best game out there this year. It's better than the first and second editions of Grand Theft Auto. You can actually see from the ground it's in 3D. You'll never get tired of it you can steal anything and do anything there are amazing graphics!!

Summary: It Was Like Playing a Video Game for the First Time
Review: Grand Theft Auto 3 (GTA3) is being released for PC after much speculation that it might not. I am in line for my copy.

As it is not on PC yet, I played the Playstation 2 (PS2) version. Not knowing anything about this game, I picked up the control expecting to play some kind of racing game. And then...

I am standing on a bridge in a prison jump suit. My buddy, who is shot, is climbing into a car before me. He tells me to drive, he "Knows a guy" who can help us.

Without pause, I climb into the car and I am driving. I can go anywhere in this city! I can stop ANYWHERE in this city and get out of my car. I can car-jack anyone's car I want. (Some are junk, some are hotrods and some are fire-trucks!)

I could choose to work my way up the ranks of the mob. Or, I could just choose to go around town and cause trouble! It was like playing a video game for the first time. All I wanted to do was explore this rich world and story-line.

And that is exactly what I plan to do when I get my PC Version. I highly recomend this GTA3 for adult gamers.

If you are a parent, be aware, this game contains very mature subject matter. Including the ability to pick-up ladies of the evening. Nothing graphic, mind you, but the car does rock back and forth as your money disappears.

Summary: Pretty fun game
Review: well, well,...the great GTA3 will come out for computer. not surprising. be aware that if it is on computer, the graphics will be about twice as good. They will also add new cars, skins, etc... to make the game funner. this game is a non stop player because it is so unrestricted. you can do anything in it. it is the best of it's kind, (and only). one problem though, it will sell like candy to little kids when it comes out, so pre order it now, before prices go up, and before they're all gone. you will not regret buying it.

Summary: WONDERFUL!!!
Review: I've only breifly played this game on Playstation 2, and it's one of the best I've ever played!
It brings so much more to the experience that is GTA than the older games, let's just hope that the PC version will be as good as the PS2 version.
You can chose from a few different angles, including the classic GTA angle, but it feels as though it's ment to be played in the new, street level angle.
It's more violent that GTA1 and 2, with lots of blood, and you can even kick people (...) in it. The violence feels kind of more real, since you get to view it from the street level. But that dosent bother me, GTA is ment to be violent, and ment to raise discussions on PTA meetings.

Summary: Greatest Game EVER
Review: I have always dreamed of the GTA series going 3D. With GTA3, a whole new era of gaming has come of age. As far as I know of, this is the only game that goes from on-foot gameplay to driving without reloading a new interface. This game provides a storyline (unlike other GTA games), and the classic GTA unlimited continued gameplay. It also includes new taxi, paramedic, firetruck, and vigilante missions. These allow you to still get goals to preform long after all the main storyline missions have been completed.
Not sure if it would come out for PC, (and knowing my current PC would never run it,) I bought a PS2 largely for this game (and for the PS2's other perks, like MGS2, Final Fantasy X, etc.), and have not regretted it. Maybe the PC version could add new things, like the ability to make new cars, character skins, etc., which would be great. One thing is for sure, it is going to be worth every penny.
