Summary: ALL HYPE AND NO DELIVERY
Review: It's obvious that this product was rushed out to take advantage of the hype around the show. The question base is limited (started getting repeat questions within 10 games), the game moves at too slow a speed and there is no way to customize the program so it meets the level of the player. My hope is that Disney will create an upgrade that meets what consumers expect from a company like theirs. For all the money Disney is making on this network show being the number rated, they should upgrade this program and make the upgrades available to all who purchased the current version. I don't recommend purchasing this product until they've upgraded it and made it worth the dollars it costs.

Review: This game is very fun, but sometimes it is too hard. Also, at the beginning, you can not skip about five minutes of it. This game is good if you are an adult.

Review: The question database is pathetic. Questions started to repeat after the second round! Graphics and sound are good but the lack of questions make this product completely useless. The 30 second timer also takes away from the game. I emailed Disney Interactive asking if supplemental questions could be purchased, but they did not reply. Don't waste the $20, this game becomes boring very quickly.

Summary: How Wants a Blank Screen?
Review: This program wouldn't work on either of the two computers in this household. The first clue should have come when I had installation problems. Once I got it going, the screen liked to blank. In my opinion, you need a new and powerful computer to run this program. A computer much more powerful than the listed minimum requirements. I tossed my copy of the software in the trash, since it's not easy to get a refund and I'm not interested in an exchange. Too bad, though. We love the TV program and were looking forward to placing the game.

Summary: Disney Magic-Take your money,give you garbage
Review: Play this game only if you had your brain recently removed. Even then with the questions repeating so often you will get the million. For twenty bucks I expected more than 200 questions. My first grader could put together a better version of this piece of trash. This will be the last time Disney Interactive gets my money. We know who really gets to be the millionaire.

Review: The first few times through, this game is entertaining. However, I've never seen a game that repeated questions so quickly. I've owned Jeopardy for a year and only occasionally get a repeat. I got repeat questions the first day I owned this. Save your money, don't buy this one.

Review: A lot of reviewers have been slamming this game into the ground because of its pathetically small question bank, and deservedly so; it's impossible to play this game for any reasonable period of time without running into repeated question after repeated question. This is simply inexcusable. What I find surprising, however, is how few people have commented on what's truly wrong with this game. I'm talking about a problem that absolutely dwarfs the repeated questions: the ludicrous question timer. Time limits on questions have ABSOLUTELY NO PLACE in Millionaire. It COMPLETELY DESTROYS the concept of the entire game. 200 questions? 2,000? 2,000,000? As long as that timer is there, IT DOESN'T MATTER. As long as that timer is there, this game has absolutely NOTHING to do with Millionaire. Until the timer is removed, to refer to this game as "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" is a shameful travesty -- and should be illegal.

Summary: SAVE YOUR MONEY - DON'T BUY THIS GAME
Review: To bad they don't allow us to select negative stars in the rating! I must say that this is the worst game I've seen in a long time. Within 15 minutes of opeing the package and installing the game the questions were repeating. If you lose and play again, there's a 75% chance that the same question will appear again the next round. This was just pittifull. Save your money!

Summary: A GREAT first edition of the BEST game in TV History!
Review: The "Who Wants to be A Millionaire" CD-ROM version is a great companion for your PC. The questions do eventually repeat, but are always fascinating...I learn a lot of new things while I play, refreshing my memory as I go. The game's animation and graphics are so life-like, as if I am in New York, in the Hot Seat with Regis! The use of the "lifelines" are a great feature, and a even one player can experience what it's like to win a million dollars! When you miss a question, a "check" appears displaying your final winnings, which is neat, too. I have expected that there has been so much negative publicity from other Amazon.com reviewers. This edition, in my opinion should have specified more advanced system requirements, for example, 300 MHz Pentium Processor instead or 133 MHz., 24x speed CD-ROM drive instead of 4x, and 64MB of RAM, instead of 32MB., and is Windows 98 compatible instead of Windows 95. If the PC you use seems to encounter errors, I would suggest upgrading or purchase a PC with the newest features necessary (FYI). I look forward to future editions for more opportunity to be in that Hot Seat with Regis and win that virtual MILLION DOLLARS!
