Summary: A must own for any avid computer gamer
Review: Ever since the original Journeyman Project came out several years ago, I had been hooked. The first game was awesome. Time travel and interactivity. The second game gained more interest for me b/c it had to do with history on earth and hooked me on DaVincci. Also live actors in parts of it and the entire game looked awesome. Many words can describe the third one. Great acting, great special effects, clever puzzles and the mythical places that so many believe exitsted.If you like a great and immersive storyline, puzzles (easier than most in Myst) and adventure type games, this is for you. If you sit around playing First Person view shoot 'em ups and nothing else, you may not like it. But it is a change of pace and actually allows you to utilize your brain for once. ;)

Summary: Buyer Beware
Review: First off, the games themselves are absolutely brilliant, especially Journeyman project 2. Highly enjoyable, though the third is perhaps too easy except when you don't know what you're supposed to be doing. However, the packaging is horrible. The Cd's are in cardboard slips, which are just taped together. The tape was broken before I opened it, so the cds had slid around and gotten scratched up. In any case the first game was unplayable (but that was because the game itself doesn't like new operating systems). The second game was nearly unplayable, as it failed to recognize disc 2, which is strangly the first disk you use. I managed to play it by using a demo disk, but I was severly limited in how far I could get. Furthermore, in the medival section a wall never blows up, making that section impossible. There was a patch for this, but it's sad they didn't patch the version ON THE CD. The third game seemed playable, but I ran into a corrupt file on the fourth cd, making me quite mad since I was close to beating the game at this point. So, if you want to take the risk of having your cds scratched and unplayable, feel free to order this... the games are brilliant, but you might not be able to play them.

Summary: The bugs might as well be a puzzle...
Review: From the title, it probably sounds like I hate these game, but that's not true. I got the Journeyman Project Turbo with my old computer, and loved all the puzzles. When I saw this collection, I knew that it was my only chance to grab the Journeyman 2, and 3 has become harder to find. However, JP2 would not run, giving me an error that I was missing a CD, even though it was the RIGHT CD. Using all my resourcefullness, I managed to use a demo, save on another disk, and then play the game that way. However, I encountered more problems. I STILL couldn't get back to the apartment, which made the Farnstein's lab puzzles impossible. In Chateau Galliard, the wall wouldn't be crushed properly (Yes in my desperation I consulted a walkthrough), so I could not get down from the wall. Finally, DaVinci's workshop would cause my computer to crash or not show up at all unless I ran it in low graphics mode. So I went on to JP3, with no errors until I hit the fourth CD. In Shangri-La the game would lock up when I tried to gain access to the steam tunnels, denying me that part of the game. Ultimatly, these games are fun, but be aware that they may not work perfectly, and Technical support will NOT help (I know from experience.)

Summary: Journeyman trilogy
Review: I first picked up "Legacy of Time" on a whim and was not disappointed. The puzzles are stimulating and intriguing. I'm a great fan of the text adventure games and was pleased to experience the vivid scenery and colors in corporated in it. I was excited to find it was a series of three and promptly bought the game pack. I do have a few gripes though. When trying to play the first installment, I was not able to get it to run correctly. The second installment would not save correctly. Some of the hot spots in the third installment make solving some scenes too easy. As I didn't want to play the games out of sequence, I set aside the third installment. I got fed up enough with the bugs in the other two that I put them away for a later date. Few years later, I still haven't found the time or patience to figure out the issues. I am eagerly waiting when I have more time to devote to getting them to run. I do expect to get back to them eventually. I enjoyed the premise, the craftmanship and the mentally stimulating puzzles. For those who might have the experience and acumen to work past those bugs (I suspect they might be user error), this game pack is totally worth it!

Summary: Excellent and immersive game series
Review: I first started this series with Buried in Time, several years ago. Its a fantastic game that engrosses all your attention with not only photoreal enviroments but also a great storyline. I next went to the first game in the series, and although it isn't quite as stunning visually (simply because it's older), its still a great game. Finally, the third in the series follows the path set by the first two. Great graphics, music, and storylines make these games must-haves for pc adventurers!

Summary: The best series ever
Review: I had some compatability problems with the first game in the series. The graphics and game play were what you would expect from a mid 80s game.
The last two games in the series made up for what the first one lacked. The game storyline was it's biggest strength. The graphics on the last two games was quite good and their game play much better than the first game. The third game was the best in terms of game play. It was cool to be able to scroll around with the mouse and look all around.
After playing the second game, I was so excited to see that there was a third Journeyman Project being released. The third one was just as good if not better than the second.
My favorite part was the wise cracking computerized lifeform named Arthur that got downloaded into my time travel suit. Arthur kept me in stitches throughout the last two games.
I enjoyed these games so much I hated to see them come to an end.
Maybe someday the software companies will do modern day remakes of these classic adventure games. I can only imagine how cool this game would be if it were remade using modern 3d game engines. (I guess I'm just dreaming.) Hmmm. I just realized how big of a geek I am. I really should get a life. Maybe even a girlfriend.
I recommend this game series whole heartedly.

Review: I have had Journeyman Project Turbo for a long time, and I've always enjoyed playing it. -This game also works on Windows 2000 with service pack 3! I've tried it on Windows 2000 and still works with no flaws.
