Summary: GET THIS GAME
Review: This game, and the community of hundreds of dedicated people who play this game at teamwarfare.com, are hands-down the best.

GO is by far the most stable and fun FPS ever. Buy it, and play on-line, and you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

This game deserves seven stars out of five. Many more maps are available to download at http://www.....tk. People spend hundreds of hours creating these maps, and this is just a sampling of what this game has to offer.

If you don't get this game, you're missing out. Forget about the kiddies playing CS. Welcome to the big leagues with Global Operations. Buy the game, come play on-line. School or get schooled!

Summary: Global Ops Review
Review: This is a game not like many others - well in a way it is because it is a first person shooter game not unlike the legendary Half-Life. This game combines the new 3d engine that powers Half-Life, Quake3, and even the relatively new released Return To Castle Wolfenstein. I recommend this game for more than one reason, but the best is that if your a lover of non-fiction first-person shooter realism games like half-life or wolfenstein. You will thoroughly enjoy this game, it is definately one of my favorites. ENJOY

Summary: A Great Game, But Be Sure To Have The Right Requirements
Review: This is more than Counter-Strike. For those that loved Counter-Strike, but felt that it had gone downhill with 1.0, buy this game. This is what CS should have been. The amount of weapons is amazing, most give you the option of giving them add-ons such as laser sights, flashlights, silencers and other stuff. You also have the ability to get gas masks, grenades, night vision, thermo goggles, the whole works. And how could I leave out the classes? Perhaps the most ingenious thing in the game. Think of this as CS mixed with Team Fortress. You can be a sniper, demoman, commando, heavy, recon and a medic, all of which have their strengths and weaknesses. The amount of freedoom you have in perfecting your player is amazing.

GO also has its fair share of little things that really immerse you into the game. Gas grenades make you cough and dizzy and nearby grenades muffle your hearing and accompany you with a nice "ringing" tone as it would in real life. Graphically, while not too amazing, it is fairly pretty. Environments are well done and vary a good amount.

My only slight is that they chose a pretty poor engine. I am not the only one who thinks this, by the way. The Lithtech engine, while being able to deliver fairly good visuals, is very slow. I'd recommend a fairly high-end PC or else you will lag like hell. I would have preferred it if they went for something more along the lines of the Quake 3 engine.

Still, I would definitely recommend buying this game. Come, my friends! Leave your infested Counter-Strike for the cheaters, lamers and llamas! Salvation is at hand!

Review: This is the most fun game and most addictive game I may have EVER played. I used to play more of the RPG and RPS games, and after playing Civilization III, there was a lull in new games, so I went to look for some free downloads and found Global Operations.

This first person shooter has awesome graphics and very realistic play. The multi-player is unbelievable, as you can play with up to 23 other players on-line all at the same time.

I am soooo glad I found this game. If you want to try the game for free, you can download the demo (now with a different map than when I played the demo) and try it for free. Check out fileplanet for the demo. And you can get a used copy of the game now for super cheap.

A must have for anyone that enjoys FPS's. GO get it!!!

Review: This is the next best thing. Interact with players from all over the world. Cooperative gameplay with plenty of shooting and action. You can be a hero and save your teamates or be a coward and save your own... it's all up to you!

I love this game!

Summary: Very lame
Review: To keep it simple I will merely contrast these games to Medal of Honor and Wolfenstein as these are the other big shooters out. Wolfenstein and MOH are both easy to grasp your attention and become addictive. This game on the other hand, not quite SO....although they developed it for the whole realism concept, it really just doesnt quite get it. It's poorly developed, the graphics are inferior by today's standards and it's just no fun. IT has integrated voice menus as these other games do, only they [aren't very good]. Everyone sounds the same, like a robot. If you've played it, you know what I mean. The game tells you your objectives in the beginning, but as you get into each map, there is NO beacon to tell you where to go or what to do. As in Wolfenstein you choose out of a list of roles you wish to battle as...but what does it matter? If you're a detonation expert, you still have NO clue where you need to plant explosives nor defuse them. You have to do everything on your own in the single player game, there is no 'leader' telling you where your duty is needed...there is absolutley no clue. You'll repeatedly die before you have the chance to figure anything out and by then you'll be bored out of your mind. You cannot get new weapons because this game funcitons off of the money system...you gain money by how well you do...but since you will go in not knowing WHAT the heck you're doing, you will not gain much money, hence you cannot get better weapons, hence you will keep dying. This game has good potential to rank with similar style games like Half-Life's Counter-Strike (similar game play style) but for various reasons it will leave you bored. Don't waste your money as I did.
