Summary: well, well...
Review: To the Aussie who was a little bit rude: if the game isn't out yet, how can you say it's gonna be good if the game isn't out yet? If a game like FOCOM was a lemon, and it has all the big anticipation like GBG, why should I write good things about a game similar to FOCOM ? FOCOM has a problem with compatibility with video/sounds cards, it has nothing to do with the specs of any PC, that's why everybody hated FOCOM. Try to understand first and then criticize about spelling, 'mate

To the others: Yes, I haven't played the game, but is sad that a great company like LucasArts cannot come up with something better than AOE2, perhaps when the game arrives, then all reviews would be valid or not...we shall see...

Summary: Looks to be good
Review: Because Star Wars Galactic Battelgrounds isn't out yet, I can not be entirely certain as to what it will be like. But rest assured, it is NOT like Force Commander. It uses the Age of Empires 2 engine, so it will play similar to AoE2.AoE2 is one of the greastest RTSes out there, so LucasArts can't really go wrong on this game. I'm really looking forward to this game, because it looks to be a lot better than LucasArts previous RTS games, thank goodness.

Summary: I've been waiting for something like this for years!
Review: When I saw that the review rating for this game had only one star, I knew that had to change. Just by reading the FAQ I get excited. I've been tracking this game for two months now, because if you like AoK, you'r going to like this. Jedi's, Destroyer Droids, X-Wings, Wookies, Shield Generators; It makes me excited just thinking about it. I could elaborate more, but I just want to say that I think people will be surprised, and you should get this game.

Summary: This game will rock!!!
Review: Ok, what is there not to love about this game? The tried and true Age of Kings engine that was so much fun, plus, all our favorite star wars units and vessels that we see in the movies, and many that we haven't. The game has 6 unique civs, count ,em, 6, they are totally unique, each having totally different art, unlike AOKs civs. Each civ has 50 unique units, include one special unit. Plus, they have air units, which are a new addition to the AOK engine, and are shaping up very nicely. The art in the game has been redone several times, and is nearing perfection. Yet, all this greatness will run on the average joe's comuter, requiring only about 166mhz minimum. Also, the gameplay has been created to much more fastpaced than AOK, which will make for some great games, and great strategies to go along with them. Were shall these battles take place you ask? Why, for a start, you could fight in the swamps of naboo, the barren wastelands of tatooine, the frozen desert of Hoth, or at the ancient Massassi temples on Yavin IV. Other areas include space platforms, and the famous floating city of Bespin. What other places would make a better story, a better battle, or a better game than those mentioned above? Even if you aren't a star wars fan, you can still fight in the desert, the forest, the swamp, the city, or the artic.

Also, having spoken over the interenet with the game's director, Garry Gaber, he has assured us that the game is going to be out on time, and is everything he exected, and then some. He has told us about many new features that weren't in AOK, but will grace your screen in the epic battles that will unfold in Galactic Battlegrounds. So, with great art, incredible gameply, and tested engine, and all your favorite star wars vehicles and charcters, this game is shaping up to the be the greatest rts game to date, whether your a star wars fan or not, this game is a must buy for all rts lovers.

Summary: Da Best!
Review: Actually I don't want the previous customer to flame this game.
It is not another FoCom, because FoCom required a 3D engine, while this one uses the Famous engine from AoC which is 2D.
It is not a waste of money, for AoC was not a waste of money to thoousands of people.
BUY THIS GAME!

Summary: Awesome
Review: It has everything a classic RTS needs: Graphics, gameplay, customizable areas... It's only one of the many examples Lucas Arts is back in the business of making great games.

In summary it's a must have for every Star Wars and RTS fan, and evrry other player should give a it a serious try!

Summary: Just awesome!
Review: This game is great. Actually Lucas Arts has come with a whole new line up of great games like it hadn't in a long time.

The game has every aspect an RTS needs to be a classic. Graphically it is is great, if you have played Age of Empires you'll know more or less its gameplay style, which is very cool.
It has a great editor with lots of features, so you'll be able to customize many aspects from the game.

In summary, it's a must have for a Star Wars fan, a great choice for an RTS gamer, and every player should give it a try!
