Summary: This game bites the dust. I'm ashamed of EA.
Review: This game is a definate dissapointment, i've played some of the early C&C games, the most recent being Tiberiun Sun and Red Alert 2. In both you were engaged in a great and thought out story line in which you were face to face with great and familiar actors. And thats why i bought this gam,e not for multiplayer(although i was planning on playing multiplayer) and yet there no story line what so ever. You go mission by mission with a loading screen that says

- Many comrades have fallen

- Take out enemy so and so

- Then destroy so and so

I was looking forward to seeing amazong cut scened of MiGs striking down enemy scud launchers and working with the President in taking out an enemy terrorist threat. Now i'm not gonna sit here and downplay the entire game, the single player missions are nthought out and well made, but the campaigns are short as far as i know don't have an auotmatic save, what i mean by this is if you leave while at mission 5 expecting to see a list of all the mission on which you can select the on you wanted to play, you wouldn't find one, i found this out the hard way about 4 missions into the U.S. campaign. So the next day when i decided to try multiplayer i entered my birth date, pass, nick ect. and hit create account only to find a scren pop-up every time saying "This password is incorrect". How can the freakin password be incorrect if it hasn't been made yet. I messed around with the password making sure to make alot of letters in case you need a certain amount, and tried only numbers and only letters and still nothing. So i've yet to play multiplayer and the this game hasn't kept me entertained for a week, guess i'll have to stick with starcraft and Westwood's Red Alert 2. And by the way don't get W3, its a maor dissapointment too.

Summary: Good Game, but need supercomputer to run it!!!
Review: I like the 3d effects, but why do they have to up the requirements SO high. I mean my computer can run AOM, why can't it run this better. It's like they want to force you to buy a new Video card or something!

Summary: "THE BEST C@C EVER!"
Review: "I Love this game",If you want a fast pace, adrenalin pumping, fast thinking RTS look no further. Generals is it! USA,China, and GLA all ready to battle it out on your PC.(There are three different covers you can buy, I suggest you pick up the USA cover, it has the best detail as well as being the best side in the game.)

Summary: I miss RA2:YR
Review: RA2:YR is probably my favorite game ever. I have played every C&C game since the first one. I even used to play the original Dune 2, which is what C&C was based on. This is the first C&C game to disappoint me. It was changed too much. Gameplay is just not up to par. C&C:Renegade isn't good either. I hope this trend doesn't continue. :(

Summary: EA ruined it!
Review: The 3D looks good, but you need a super computer to play this. Why not keep it simple? It's the gameplay that counts, not flashy buildings.

The interface BLOWS! The little decorative designs around the interface should have been removed to reveal more vital screen. Unless you have a fast computer with a nice video card, you're stuck with low resolutions, leaving you with a narrow view of the battlefield.

Also, it's incredibly buggy. And I miss the signature cheesy FMVs. Instead, we get slow realtime cinematics that can't be skipped.

A final word. EA, BUG OUT! Westwood had a great franchise, now EA ruined it.

Summary: Quite dissapointing
Review: Just before i played it i was relly looking faward to playing Generals. i liked all the other commander and conquer games like red alert 2. I think the graphics let it down the most, especially when i found out it needed a g force graphics card 3, i thought the graphics would be amazing, (i'v sin better)
All the units are literally the same and on the skirmish levels, u can only get three teams.
But it was alot more realistic, with money, aircraft, buildings bin built and of course explosions. I also liked the general abilities with stuff like computer hackers and upgrades to units, my favourite is black Napalm fof the migs and Dragon tanks. The game also takes up a huge amount of room.
If u want my advive, i would pass on generals.
P.S, i do hav a g force 3 graphics card.

Summary: Awsome game, totally what i expected.
Review: I purchased C&C Generals and was unable to play because of my computer which is brand new but it has a celearon proseser. So i have to sell my Computer and get a higher pentium like a 4. I was able ot play it over my friends hosue and i loved it. It was extremely addicting i dident want to leave.

Summary: Not quite the same as the previous versions
Review: I didn't like Generals as much as Red Alert and Red Alert 2. For me, it's all about building different kinds of units and structures, but the selection is about half of that of the RA games. But the best graphics to date if you can afford the 1.5 GB of space it takes up.

Summary: Not as good as previous C&C games
Review: Generals looks great, and is a decent game, but it falls far short of previous Command & Conquer titles.

First off, while this game is VERY similar to the previous titles, many handy user controls have been omitted this time with no apparent advantage. Having played many RTS games, including every C&C game to date, I was constantly frustrated trying to move my units around the map.

Second, it's the buggiest C&C to date. I have to reboot my machine after I play because DirectX can't be initialized by other games following a C&C session.

Third, this game is too similar to previous C&Cs. The units are basically the same as they've always been with different names. The tank classes are very familliar, and after C&C Tiberian Sun, the creativity in selection of the other units is pathetic.

I've always looked forward to new C&C games, but this one seems like it was rushed to market.

Summary: If all RTS games were like this!
Review: Well, basically, C&C Generals, has to be the best RTS game out in the market. Ive been anticipating its release for a while, and now that it's out, im not dissapointed at all. Generals is based on issues and global conflict our world today. You have the option of playing as China, USA, or an underground organization, known as the GLA(Global Liberation Army), each with its own distinct capabilities and missions.

The graphics are simply awe-inspiring. Almost every other move you make, is followed by a very neat video-clip. Trails left by cruise missiles and F22 Raptors is stunning. Buildings and houses and civilians are very life-like, similar to Sim City4.
You get to fight in Urban areas, deserts and many other locales.

The gameplay is very similar to other RTS games. If youve played Real War and Real War: Rogue states, then C&C Generals is nothing new, besides the improved graphics. Loads of levels to play, and ton's of strategies to adopt adds a good replay-value to this title. Sounds are very well done and the music is superb.

In conclusion C&C Generals is a great buy. Make sure your computer system meets or more preferabley exceeds the system requirments.
