Summary: Too difficult/complicated
Review: Sorry folks, but I thought this game was a little too difficult to play (or even "survive in").

I appreciate the need for realism. But for me personally, there is a balance between realism & "play-ability".

I'm not as much into "puzzle-solving" as I am "shoot-them-badguys!"

Don't get me wrong; I'm not some e-wussy who only plays Pac-Man on Sundays - I absolutely LOVE both Soldier Of Fortune games. The old Wolfenstein game was terrific for its time, and I'm looking anxiously forward to seeing the new one.

But Ghost Recon is too complicated to learn, not enough customizable controls - and I get killed too damn fast!

Let's Hear It For The UnderAchievers!!!

Review: tactical genius. a true challenge to take an understrength squad into enemy territory and survive. cooperative multiplayer makes this even better.

Summary: Real is the key
Review: That's right, real is the key. I have played many games like this and my fav used to be Soldier of Fortune but Ghost Recon takes the lead. Why? First, if you are looking into buying this game it is not for the faint of heart. I went into this game like I always do, jump in and try to kill everything I can. Not going to work in this game and that is what makes it so much fun. The key to this game in my opinion is that you have to play it as if was real. I don't mean loose yourself in the game. Just know to play the game as if it was happening to you. Don't go into this game thinking armor lives and health fixes because they don't exist. If someone were shooting at you what would you do? You would hide and maybe mess your pants. That is the mindset of this game. If you want to win use your head and be cautious around every corner. Use the bushes, hit the deck, and look out. This game is a blast. Just watch for the sniper across the way he's aiming at your head. If you like war games mixed with adventure, a good story line, awesome missions, and feeling like a part of a real team watching out for your brothers. Man you are in for one hell of a time. In short this game rocks. Best I've seen yet.

Summary: Ghost Recon
Review: This game is almost like the real thing only in real life after you die i dont think that there is a selection menu that asks if you would like to start over. The reason there isn't a big selection of weapons one man has is because unlike 007 video games where Mr. Bond can fit an entire army's weapons under his coat this is realistic where you can only have a maximum of 2 firearms 1 being a submachine gun or rifle the other a pistol. Along with some grenades or a demolition kit or whatever catches your fancy. So all in all this is a good investment if you liked any of the Rainbow Six games.

Summary: Outstanding
Review: This game is excellent. Arguments about its difficulty are misplaced. Anyone who has had the opporunity to conduct small-unit missions in the field will appreciate how difficult it is to locate, move, sustain contact and survive against the enemy. They will also appreciate the difficulty in coordinating fire-teams as you develop the situation. If players want more realism in their games, than they should also embrace the required skill level along with the cool graphics, AI, etc. The game is not easy, nor should it be. It may take multiple attempts to accomplish a mission, including revisions to your team's plan. Why is this bad? There is a reason why the Army requires muiltple rehearsals before all operations, from squad to division.

The only reservation I have about the game is that it is pain to set up and play multiplayer missions online. UbiSoft needs to take a serious look at how to streamline online set-up and gameplay.

Summary: Excellent
Review: This game is extremely life like. A recommend must buy. Also look for the mission pakcs available. If you are thinking about buying this game thinking it is a sequel to RainbowSix/Rogue Spear series then you better do more research because its not. Also look for Raven Shield Coming out in February!

Summary: Impressive FPS!!
Review: This game is fantastic. The Ghost Recon community has created wonderful mod packs to add weapons, maps and missions. The only disappointment is UBI.COM. Their (UBI) online gaming system is terrible. The best way to play online is to have a friend host it over the internet.

Review: This game is one of the very few that actually forces you to think about your decisions! The enimes have great AI and know what to expect from you. You have to plan out your attack and learn from your mistakes. There are no health kits or body armors in this game, its all realistic...you get shot, you're injured or dead. It's nice to see a strategic shooting game on the market like this. Graphics are impressive and sound is great as well! I highly recommend this game!!
