Summary: A good balance
Review: I was never much into simulation/stragety games after I discovered the beauty of Quake-Like games. I accidently bought this thinking it was going to be an all-action game. Even though 40% of it is action like, the rest is all strategy. Now, my taste for strategy games has reborn even since I started playing IGI. It has an amazing balance of action and strategy leaving me a lot more satisfied when finishing each mission. Get this game if you're tired of the same old shoot-em-up games. The only problems with this game is that there's not much else to do but play the missions. There's no practice levels or single levels in the game. Plus, it's a little annoying when you can't save the game, but that never stops me from playing because the levels are still a lot of fun.

Summary: rainbow six guy
Review: This game is cool, some of the negatives that the other say are true like the only being able to save after every mission which can get annoying, the alarms do not always go off the same way or reason.and people do sometimes appear from no where.i am currently on mission 7 and love the game. uYou have to think if you do not like spending at least 30 minutes on each level u will play the same level many times. But the weapons are cool and the fact u can pick them up (the knife is awsome), the sliding down ropes, climbing fences and sliding down ladders make the game sweet.

PS if u do not have at least a 8mb video card buy the card first or every thing is screwed up, i sudgest a voodo3 or voodo4 with 16mb the game is worth the money.

Summary: Might have been fun...if it ran
Review: I think the concept was coming from the right place, but the programmers did a horrible job of polishing it off before Christmas (I'm giving them at least that benefit of the doubt). I run MANY games on my system (a very high end system with name-brand and very well know up-to-date components), so I refuse to believe that my system was the culprit for it never running. Everything else does! It would simply freeze my system at launch and I had to reboot to get it going. After checking dejanews the support forums I realized I wasn't the only person with a problem. This games has A JILLION bugs! I know some folks haven't had a problem, but many of us have. My solution was to take it back and buy something else. If you are intent on buying it, do wait until the first patch comes out at least. It has a lot of potential, but the development team really needs to do some serious QA testing before release.

Summary: Once and for all
Review: Alright, this game will not impress the quake unreal fans, there is no run and gun, or youll get shot faster than a Turkey in a texas game show. You have to use stealth. This game is really best described as a cross between half-life and the rainbow 6 series. This game requires you to think, and plot out what your going to do to get past those 6 guys standing next to the alarm. As for the save, the only type of person that would be dissapointed would be people who have never played a tacticle shooter, all they have played is quake, and a little half-life, there is no quicksave in a mission based game you retards. Why are you writing a review if this is the second game that you have ever played. Next time get the facts, and then right your review.

Summary: no savegame, what on earth where they thinking....
Review: or like the AI they weren't...

The other reviewers describe the good points quite well. But it will always come back to this: THERE IS NO SAVEGAME, not even a checkpoint after a completed object. This must have been requested by the QA department and whoever decided not to listen should be fired.

Summary: Best Game I Own
Review: This is a great game. Your assigned many different tasks like sneaking into high-tech military bases and stealing something, or hacking a computer. There is a big element of strategy to the game, it's your choice how you want to get through the game. You're only allowed to save the game after each level (this way you don't play cheap and save every 15 seconds), AI only respawns if you've triggered an alarm (so don't), sometimes AI is a little slow, but this is a very small drawback. If you like sniping, and stealthy type games, this is very much one. If you just want to blow someone's torso to the moon go get Unreal Tournament.

Summary: Half-life is only half as good.
Review: Half-life is only half as good. Graphics, true to life weapons, think, crawl, hide, peek, SHOOT!......I have never seen a demo this much fun I can't wait until I get the full version

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Not so fast..
Review: This game is not what it says it is. From the start you'll be disappointed. The lack of a save game feature and the fact that the enemy "respawns" from nowhere right behind you is bad enough. There is nothing like playing for 40 minutes and as your just about to complete the level, you get shot in the back by one of these magically appearing enemies with it's "cheap kills" or even more likley the game crashes. Since there is no way to save a game you have to start over. The enemy A.I. is terrible. Two guards standing together and only one guard reacts to your presence. This happens with your first encounter and continues through out the game.

The worst part is the replay value. No multiplayer and no mission editor. You add that to the 14 missions that themselves have little to be excited over since they use the same buildings and basic lay-out and you have one boring game. You played one level you played them all. This is one to get when it hits the bargain rack or better yet pass it up all together.

Summary: While the game is not out, there is a demo...
Review: While others may feel that since the game is not released it is to early to write a review, I have played the demo and in my experience the demo is a pretty good indicator of a game.

While I usually find Eidios games to fall short of quality games due to the UI, this game was different. It is solid. The game engine runs better than most 3d shooter games. The best way to describe this game is a James Bond version of Thief or Thief II. You sneak around performing tasks such as stealing a truck etc. The weapons are very realistic, the graphics are great and the game is fun.

I would highly recommend giving the demo a try. My only gripe would be the lack of multiplayer. A game called Venom which will be released next year or later looks a lot like this game but with co-op multiplayer. So prep up with IGI and get ready for Venom

Summary: Lets bring the rating back down to reality
Review: Since the game is not even out yet, and people often rely on others opinions, it is out of fairness that I must add this review with a 1-star rating. Until people actually have the game and can fairly review it I would not advise buying any game on someone else's hearsay.

If Edios's history is any indicator, then this will be at least a 3 star game, but until it is out I will hold onto my money and I advise you do the same.
