Summary: Digital crack
Review: Just a few things to add to the volume of praise for this game ...

I really love how easy it is to customize every aspect of the game, from gameplay to AI characteristics. The game has a built-in feature called "mutators" that can fundamentally alter the nature of any type of UT game. Bored of playing a regular CTF map? Try replacing all of the weapons with rocket launchers. Or for an adrenaline OD, I recommend low-gravity insta-gib (where everyone has a one-shot-kill gun w/unlimited ammo, and there are no items to pick up). Too cool!

Epic also made it super easy to create new add-ons to the game. The game includes a built-in map editor which is relatively easy to use, and which is supported by a huge online map-makers' community. You can already find thousands of new maps, new mutators, and full-fledged game rewrites for free on the 'net ... with more being churned out every day at a ludicrous rate.

I've been playing for months, and I can't imagine getting bored with the game any time soon. Join the legion of UT addicts today!

Summary: Totally Unreal!
Review: This game is incredible. There are so many different skin pages to choose, it hurts! The weapons are all either new or souped up from Unreal, like the IMPACT Hammer and the Redeemer. This game is the ultimate experince in bringing down challenging AI opponents. You can even talk to your enemies!

Summary: The Best Game of the Millenium
Review: I have recently brought Unreal Tournament, and I got to tell you its a VERY nice game especially the graphics. After all its has been rated by lots of judges and it won the game of the year award. System requirement are a problem. If you buy this game I recommend you have a AMD Atholon 500Mhz or above with 128MB and a Voodoo card. The game rocks with a powerful sytem!

Summary: The only game I play now
Review: Unreal Tournament is awesome, especially with my T1 connection at work. I like when heads fly off competitors that I kill.

We've bought Quake III and a bunch of other games this past year, but UT is the only game I play now.

Summary: Best online game
Review: Buy this game. Best online gaming experience I have had. I thought Quake was good, but it pales in comparison to Unreal Tournament. So many different gaming variations. I love "assualt", you attack your enemies' compound. Kill them all and let God sort them out!

Summary: Unreal Tournament - Unreal Power Required!
Review: Don't get me wrong, I love this game! The only complaint I have is that it requires a LOT of horsepower. I have a G400 with a Pentium II 500Mhz that make this game tolerable. I've tried other configurations and it is either too slow or looks like crap. Online play with DSL connection is good though.

I have to say that this game occasionaly crashes one of my machines to the point where I have to re-install. This occures even with the latest patch. However, don't let that discourage you from buying this game - my main machine has run this game perfectly from day one!

Summary: Amazing.
Review: No words to describe, simply that It blows Quake 3 out of the water. This game offers so many varities of play, the graphics are good, that I simply have to recommend over all the current shooter crop.

Summary: The ultimate 3D shooter!
Review: Four months ago I received the demo of UT. It was the demo I ever tried but it was only a taste of what Unreal Tornament have. By the time I got the full version I got Q3 Arena, UT was twice as good as Q3 Arena.UT have better graphics than Q3 and the fun rating just continues to rise. Almost every weapon have Primary and seconday fire. The weapons is everything from a pistol to a nuclear missle. The different game styles are Deathmatch (shoot at everything that moves in a short time), Team Deathmatch (the same as Deathmatch but in teams), Domination (take over bases) Capture the flag (just as it sounds), Assault (first assault the base, then defend it) and Challenge (die when you are hit). My best weapon is The REDEEMER. The bots (computer players) are very smart in the hardest difficulties (Masterful, Inhuman and Godlike) but in the lower (Novice and Average) they are vewry easy to beat. In the last map (HyperBlast) you will meat the master (Xan), he is the smartes bot in the game even in Novice and Average. To beat him make sure that you always have a shield belt and Invisibility. If you have them you would probably beat him after a few tries.

Summary: Absolutely Fraggin' Amazing
Review: Me and my freinds as a group of 3d shooter gamers got quake 3 and UT at the same time when they came out and played them on our network and against people on the internet. When we first got q3, we saw the levels looked incredibly neato, with smooth graphics. After admiring the levels for a little bit, we got into the gameplay, shot around a little, got bored with the generic kill-die-kill-die gameplay and the incredibly unappealing and usually ugly weapons that all had frustrating shortcomings, but once we switched to UT we had tons of fun and discussed why we liked it better. This is what we came up with: Instead of all the guns having a problem for balance, all of the UT weapons were sadistic, but were different in what way. It's hard to hate a UT weapon if you use it right. Also, the guns look cool. Who wouldnt want a shock rifle or rocket launcher from UT hanging on the wall? Most importantly, the variation of gameplay options, massive amount of available maps, and the nearly endless gameplay modifications and mutators make sure there is always something new to do in UT. In the interest of fairness, we always give new q3 downloads a try and see if anything is coming out on the q3 front, but we would pretty much have to be devout quake fanboys with cable modems not to say that UT won every last one of us over, beating out q3 hands down. Buy it, you will appreciate the leap forward in rocket launcher technology!

Summary: My new addiction!
Review: I can't really compare it to Quake 3, but as a fan of Quake 2, halflife, and finally Team Fortress Classic- This is bliss! I am a hardcore Online fragger for two years strong now, and I've become very taken with the teamplay FPS games. I feel that it adds to the game tremendously- and Unreal Tourny takes it even further!

Note, that as a "hardcore online fragger" I have a cranked up computer featuring cable modem and a geForce256 graphics card. I've used this on many games, and Unreal Tournament makes the best use of it to date. Games are easy to find and smooth to play. Total adrenaline.

And I can tell its going to stay in my cd-rom for quite a while. I love the fact that it keeps track of all your stats, along with everyone else on a massively detailed web page. The competition is fierce. I end up checking it out after every night to see where I stand. (my handle is Bystander) This adds to the whole addiction thing. On top of that- I haven't even started on any variations of play other than death match, team death match, and capture the flag. They have a ton of maps and variations I haven't gotten to yet. I almost find it hard to review this game, but in fact, it will take months to get to it all significantly. That makes it even better.

If you are a hardcore gamer like I am, take my advice- give this game a shot!
