Review: Ok, if you liked Zoo Tycoon and Dinosaur Digs then you will love Marine Mania.I am told that there will be ton's of new items and 10 new terrains. There will also be 20 new marine animals:
1. Bottle Nose Dolphin
2. great White Shark
3. Hammer head shark
4. jellyfish
5. Manates
6. Stingray
7.Killer Whale
8. Whale

Summary: Zoo Tycoon et al.....
Review: I love Zoo Tycoon (not Dino Digs so much) and I'm sure Marina Mania will be awesome - judging by webshots and the buzz at various fansites. I can't wait to incorporate "3D" water into exhibits. But I do have a word of warning for those who are not familiar with the Zoo Tycoon games. This game is not for people who like fast-paced action games. No explosions or monsters to kill, - no gore (unless an amimal escapes, or you let one loose). So this might bore some to tears. But, that being said, it's still a great game. It's very challenging trying to keep animals and visitors happy and have a cool looking zoo. If you ever wanted to be a zoo keeper when you were a kid, you NEED this game!

Summary: A dream come true
Review: I love Zoo Tycoon but have been disappointed by Dinosaur Digs, mainly because the animals are really hard to keep happy and I'm not that big on dinosaurs. I have told people that aquarium animals would be the perfect expansion pack and now it's coming! I have a degree in marine biology but have never worked in my field. At least now I can play in it!

Summary: Splash out on Marine Mania and you won't be disappointed
Review: Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania is a very cool expansion pack for Zoo Tycoon. Although it was very good, I actually prefer this to the first expansion pack Dinosaur Digs. There are a lot more new features. You must put your marine animals in tanks instead of exhibits, adjusting the height and choosing the right foliage. You can hire marine specialists to look after the creatures, which include orca whales, seals, rays, squids, otters, great white sharks and many more - over 20 in total. There are loads of new shops and attractions to please your guests with. You can also put on shows with some of the animals. You can choose exactly what the animals do in the shows, in which order, and schedule it as to how often you want the show to happen. There are several new scenarios for those players who like the challenges. You also now get the ability to pick up guests and put them wherever you want...including in exhibits and tanks! I think this is a great expansion pack for Zoo Tycoon. It really makes the original Zoo Tycoon game a lot more interesting and also included Dinosaur Digs, so it'll keep you playing the game for much longer than before!

Review: As you probably already guessed, Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania will bring new marine animals to Zoo Tycoon. How can you see underwater? Simple. Unlike the original Zoo Tycoon, the water is clear in the exhibits! This expansion will bring over 20 new aquatic animals to add to the long list of animals already in Zoo Tycoon. Some of the animals are: killer whales, dolphins, giant squids, great whites, and manta rays! Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania will add TEN new scenarios! There will also be new objects included, like the ring toss. Another highlight is the animal shows. You can set up a show for sea otters, sea lions, killer whales, dolphins, and great whites. You are now able to set up stands and have a show to exhibit your animals. After that, you can set up the show the way YOU want it to be! Move by move, you can make the animals show. One last highlight is you can put original Zoo Tycoon animals in the clear water and watch them swim and play, such as the polar bear, grizzly bear, penguin, Asian elephant, etc. Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania will be a great game and I'm sure it will be a hit!

Summary: Kids are STILL playing this
Review: We bought Zoo Tycoon and the expansion packs Christmas 2002 and our two sons (ages 9 and 7) are still spending lots of time with it. Without adult help they figured the game out and can win every scenario, although sometimes they like to let the dinosaurs out "just for fun" or create a "realistic environment" by putting bluefin tuna in the shark tank or lions in with the wildebeest.
The starter game isn't as much fun without the marina mania pack. The dinosaur digs pack is sort of bare bones, pardon the pun. All together it's given us a good year of entertainment.

Review: As far as Alex is concerned, The earth has stopped
turning and time has stopped for Zoo Tycoon. He has
probably spent a total of 20+ hours over the weekend
building and perfecting a zoo, several ocean water
parks, and a couple of Dinosaur zoos. He believes
this may be the very reason computers were invented in
the first place. He has been telling us for several
years that he wants to open a new "Ocean Adventures"
park (ala Gulf World) when he grows up, now his exact
quote is "It's my dream and I will not let anything
stop me!" According to the game, he is quite adept at
setting up and running a zoo.
