Summary: Game for all Seasons
Review: My mother, much younger brother, and I all have one thing in common. We love LIFE. Having never played the board game does not hamper your ability to play and enjoy this game. The graphics were comical and the music was relevant. Playing the computer does not equal sure defeat. This game hit the target.

Summary: disappointing
Review: The folks who did so well with Monopoly disappoint here. The animation quality is fine; that's not the problem. The game is filled with movies which interrupt and comment on the play; they are very bad jokes and we shut them off pretty quickly. An alternate version of the "classic" game includes shooting gallery-type mini-games for bonus points, but the games doen't respond properly to the mouse, so accurate aim is impossible. After a few plays, I passed this along.

Summary: Great adaptation of the board game
Review: The Game of Life was my favorite board game when I was a kid. When I saw this CD at the computer store, I thought I'd give it a try.Hasbro typically produces good games. Their adaptations of Scrabble and Monopoly are first-rate. This one works, too. You spin the wheel, choose your career, and careen your way through the board from the 1950s to 2000s and retirement. I played alone versus two AI players and each of the two games I played took 45 minutes. The graphics are great and, again, this is typical of Hasbro. The game is simple enough that kids could play on the computer or a parent could play with a child. But of course, you lose the camraderie that you get from playing a board game with your family and friends. This is a great solo game, but it does go a little slow. But don't let that deter you from buying the game. You'll probably be able to buy it for ten dollars or less and at that price, it's a great value. I was actually going to play this game a few times and then give it to a friend to give to her grandchildren. I'm going to keep it for myself, instead!

Review: There are only 2 things that I have to say: First of all, whether or not you like the board game you should love this game.
Second of all the only drawback of this game is that playing the enhanced version of the game is fun but playing the classic version on the computer really stinks.

Summary: Oh My Gosh, what a blast?
Review: This game is so fun! Even my best friends little brother, who is four loves it! I got it for him for Christmas...hehe...I have competitions with my best friend about who will have the most kids, it is so funny! I highly recommend this game to ANYONE! It is really simple to set up, also!
