Summary: I love these series!
Review: I did like this game! I did not find it boring at all. There should be more games like this where you can have all these dialogs with the characters and you can explore different places and pick up your clues. It really makes you feel like you are part of the game!I didn't mind Tim Curry's voice. The only thing I was not too pleased was with the graphics. I'm not too fond of these new type of graphics that make all the faces look like rectangles or triangles. But the game is just great. Let's hope for a Gabriel Knight 4 to come soon!

Review: Okay, but not the best. I highly enjoyed GK1 and GK2 with their excellent plots, but this has yet to be desired. First of all, the game ran too darn slow on my computer. It's the first time that I've played a game on my computer with such slowness. It was torture just to get Gabe moving--sheesh. Also, the characters. I didn't feel that much for Gabe and Grace as I did in the first two. I enjoyed Tim Curry's voice in the first one, in this one it was too much (forced with those annoying quips). But one thing that was a huge let down for me was the storyline. I would have forgiven GK3 for all the other minor peeves--if the plot was just as good as the first two. But it was not. The story was boring. It didn't even hold my interest. The plot didn't feel *horror*. In the first two stories, there was a suspsense, scary edge to it. The theme (voodoo in the first one and werewolves in the second one) was spread through out, but in GK3, you really don't see any of that until towards end. A dreadful dissapointment.

Summary: Boring!
Review: Decent graphics. Great story. Annoying, repetitive characters. Slow story progression. Very annoying puzzles that require you to perform the perfect action at the perfect time in the perfect spot. If you want action, look elsewhere. If you've got time to wander around the same rooms over and over trying to figure out what you missed or whether you did everything in the right order, you've hit the jackpot. There are certainly worse games out there, but there are better ones as well.

Summary: On the whole, I enjoyed playing GK3
Review: I immediately purchased GK3 when it reached the stores since I had so much fun playing the first two games in the series. I thoroughly enjoyed this game with one notable exception, the character of Gabriel. His dialog was obnoxious and Tim Curry's voice acting was nothing short of terrible. But, as per usual with the GK series, the story was compelling, the characters were interesting, the game play time was long enough and the puzzles made sense. I liked the addition of the 3D engine and didn't mind them going back to animated characters. I sincerely hope there will be a GK4 as I would definitely buy it. My only wish is that they do NOT hire Tim Curry to play Gabriel again and might also consider toning down Gabriel's rude comments.

Review: I found this game to be great. It was just what I expected, thrilling and a bit spooky. I recommend this game. If you like the first two Gabriel Knight games you will love this one.

Summary: GK3 Reviewed by a FRENCH Player
Review: I come from France, born in a village very near Rennes le Chateau. This is to say that I have been cradled by the mysteries of l'Abbe Sausniere and most of the stories revealed within GK3. I have played and enjoyed tremendously GK2. I was a bit disapointed at first to see that Sierra went back to drawings, but it gives a much better interactivity than the more film based GK2. And it looks so real! I mean, I have been in the place, and I really felt almost like back home! Also, even though a few points were maybe a bit stretched, the history is almost 100% accurate, something quite impressive when I take into account that the game was made in California by American people. The French Accent of the people talking in French is far from that spoken there, but eh! only the French will hear it! You can really trust most of the enigmas stressed in the game. They are true, or ...maybe not, ... the mysteries the game unveils will be within you, weeks and probably years after you've finished the game!

Summary: Waste of Money
Review: As much as I loved GK2, The Beast within, as disappointed am I with GK3, Blood of the Sacred. Why on earth did Sierra go from real actors back to drawings only? Endlessly boring, bad graphics, and a "Schattenjaeger" Gabriel Knight who is simply appalling and shows none of the charming characteristics his "real" persona had in GK2. All there is left is some macho who looks like Barbie's Ken on even more steroids. Buy GK2 instead!

Summary: FANTASTIC!
Review: I have a large history in playing adventure games, I own such classics as; the mokey island trilogy, fate of atlantis, day of the tentacle, full throttle, grim fandango and sam & max...I can heartily say, Gabriel Knight 3 ranks among the best of them. Merely on the strength of this title, I bought the first and second in the series, and cannot wait to begin them. The storyline is superb, and I suggest after playing the game you read up about the REAL history of Rennes le Chateau, this just shows how faultless Jane Jenson's stroytelling abilities are. To say that they ending is controversial is an understatement. The interface is smooth, akin to that of a 3D level designer, and I cannot imagine playing another adventure game without it. The graphics are for the most part great, with cartoony characters, it is a real testament(pun not intended...play the game, you'll understand) to the game desingers, that despite the graphics being cartoon in style, the game can be scary in parts. Despite not liking Tim Curry's 'Gabriel' to begin with, the character grew on me, and he really 'becomes' the character. Other voice talent is also well done...a modern classic

Review: GK3 is a fantastic game with astounding graphics and user interaces that are actually user friendly. The return of Tim Curry as Gabriel is an added plus. I'd give it another star if possible.

Summary: Big disappointment after GK2
Review: This game is beautifully rendered graphically but the content leaves much to be desired. The object of this type of video game or any other game is to be as entertaining as possible while presenting a stimulating challenge to the gamer. While this game is aimed at a mature audience the puzzle content is in many instances sophomoric, silly, and so obtuse as to be annoying. Kudos to the graphics department, a big boo to the puzzle and story people.
