Summary: kinda lame...
Review: hopefully halo 2 will satisfy my thirst for a great 1st person shooter...

Summary: Disappointment
Review: I am a big fan of the original Unreal Championship--even though it did not have a single player game. The original had a huge multiplayer selection of characters, levels, and guns--even if you weren't online. The new one doesn't. It does however, have a good single player and co-op game, great levels and enemies, but it still lost a lot of the great weapons and characters from the original. This was not a happy day.

Summary: I wouldn't recommend this game
Review: I bought this game for the Xbox about a month ago, and have regretted it. Unreal II doesn't have much going for it. The graphics are average.

What it doesn't have going for it: Load time 1/10, Levels 4/10, AI 4/10, Online 2/10, Cutscne/Briefing 3/10, Replay 1/10.
The load times for this game are ridiculously long. The levels are all very simple and plain - I beat the game in under an hour on the hardest difficulty (not including load times). The enemy AI isn't very smart or hard to beat - they run at you and shoot at you with slow moving energy blasts half the time. The online play which was supposed to be good is actually very bad - I played this game online for about 20 minutes before I couldn't handle it anymore. The problem with the cutscenes and briefing is that one person may be talking to you and the game has multiple short segments for that person creating a terrible break between speech and graphics. The replay factor on this game is the worst of any game I have ever played. I can't even bring myself to play it again and I usually beat games at least 5 times before I get bored of it.

What it has going for it: Weapons 6/10
The weapons are the only thing that makes this game worth 2 stars. The weapons are all pretty basic and easy to use with the exception of the 6 type grenade launcher (who needs 6 different grenades on the same weapon?).

The Computer version isn't any better. The requirements are so steep that if you can run it on your computer, you are better off getting Doom 3. The gameplay is exactly the same as the Xbox I have heard.

Summary: Awful
Review: I bought this game when it first came out, hoping for something to tide me over before Halo 2, but unfortunately, I was disapointed. One of the features that I was most looking forward to was the cooperative mode, which ended up being just plain awful. The animation was choppy at best, and once you got into a firefight, things really slowed down. Single player, while more smooth, was still so-so at best. The only really good thing about this game was the background enviroments, which were done well.

Summary: A Significant Disappointment
Review: I don't want to repeat what the previous two reviews have said. I agree with it all, except the parts that say it is an okay game. It's not. The single player is simple, boring, graphics below average, too much dialogue, and takes way too long to load. The multi-player has some cool ideas and concepts to it, yet takes forever to load and the gameplay is slow. Why is it so much slower than Unreal Championship? Why does the PC version have so many game modes and the XBOX only has one option?

Bottom line: waste of $40, I hope to get $15 back when I trade it in.

Summary: Pretty good, but buggy
Review: I like the game. Its not up to Halo standards, but its a fun FPS. Unfortunately, I found bugs (not the kind you kill in the game). It freezes sometimes, doesn't always load right and occassional video dropout.

Having said that...I doubt seriously anyone will read this review who isn't already sold on the game. Have fun.

Summary: I was very disappointed
Review: I loved Unreal! I loved Unreal Championship! Unreal II SUCKS! It's on the XBOX, so why such bad graphics?! The video outtakes are toooooooo long! Why bother with them, after we've played the game once they just get in the way of replayability. (is that a word)

Buy it used, if you just have to have it, or better yet borrow it from a friend and don't watse the money.

Summary: Tired of stupid boring games...? Then don't play this one!
Review: I will start this review off by telling you how wrong the description of this game was.

First it said it's vastly popular. I had never heard of this game untill I saw it at Blockbuster. It also said it has stunning graphics. Unless you've been playing Pong all your life, these graphics will NOT stun you at all. Actually, it will stun you at how bad they are. The enemies are like 2 frames per second.

The ups and downs:

Ups: There is Co-operative mode. The one thing that kept this game from being absolutely terrible was this Alien guy who talks funny, and garbles sentences.

Downs: Everything about it, from it's graphics, to its stupid enemies, and it's aggrivatingly hard missions (like when you're inside a giant monster and there is goo everywhere that kills you) This is by far the worst game I have ever played. If given the choice to play Pong or Unreal II, I would choose Pong.

Summary: PC version = terrible
Review: If this is anything like the PC version, then give it a miss. The PC version was undoubtably the worst FPS I've ever played!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Completley new game
Review: If you guys like quake 3 and unreal tournament 2003 its not guaranteed you will like this game. This is sort of an adventure/fps gmae with very little heavy gun fights. I have seen this game in action at E3 and Gdc and have played it. I find it VERY VERY fun with great graphics and a high frame rate on a radeon 9000 pro 128 ddr. The dynamic lighting features look great almost like doom 3. So for fans of original half life, quake 2 singleplayer, unreal gold THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU!!!!!!!!
