Summary: An improved City Builder
Review: I love city builder games and the great thing about Sierra is that they get better and better with each new game. Some of the annoying things about Caesar III and Pharaoh have been addressed. Your townspeople are much smarter and you are better able to direct them. You are also able to section areas off so that you have more control. Overall I think game play has been made much more user friendly. I was worried initially because some of the art work is not as good as previous games but once you start playing the graphics are just as good. The people still say amusing little things when you click on them. Perhaps sillier then the other games. The gods and monsters are very amusing and add a new element to the game. One of my favorite things is that some of the sound effects are actually in "surround sound" very neat! Their are little extras as well in the graphics if you are observant. My favorite is the firewatchman up on the lookout tower. His cape is on fire. :)

Summary: Disappointment Abounds
Review: After being such a fan of other Impression games, i.e., Pharoah, Cleopatra, Ceasar 3, Lord of the Realms, I found this game to be very confusing to play. Yes the animations of the God's was an improvement, however, the buildings,etc. do not seem life like as with Pharoah. The animations seem childish to me. I was looking for a more historical type game.

Review: I recently purchased Zeus and it is the best game I have ever played. It's an incredible achievment and honors the Sierra/impressions games series. I myself have stayed up three nights in a row trying to beat this game. The graphics and sound quality, are by far the most advanced I have seen in modern stradegy games. I especially like how that Zeus is not just for die-hard stradegy gamers, but for average everyday people. Once again props go to the Sierra/impression games company! I'm literally dancing on the balls of my feet to see the next one!

Summary: Beta Tester Review
Review: I was one of the beta testers for this game, and I've rarely enjoyed myself more! I expected Impressions to produce a fine game based on my experience with their other city builders and I was not dissappointed! The graphics and animations were the best I've ever seen. Even the smallest details of the game will keep you entralled for hours! Besides the improved AI of the walkers, and the ease of managing your cities, the writers put their sense of humor into all parts of this game. Look for the little boy swinging on the olive press, he's my favorite.... I highly recommend it...... Katherine "Mayati" Reece

Review: Don't you love these reviews from people who haven't even played the game yet? Check out the dates of their reviews (June 2000) and then check out the release date of the game (October 2000). Furthermore, who the heck found these reviews to be helpful? Probably only the reviewer's friends, that's who, so that they can get the little "top 100 reviewer" logo by their name. Sheesh, at least read a review from someone who's actually PLAYED the game. Come on people, sharpen up here!

Summary: The last great empire of the historical world
Review: Zeus: Master of Olympus is the next game in Impressions city building series, and the last of the great historial empires not yet covered by Impressions. This game looks as if it will be similar to the other city building games in that you need to build and use resources effectivly to make you city thrive and be a success. Whats new with Zeus is not every scenario will take you hours to complete, this will be a game for all types of gamers, not just the die hard strategy gamers. The screenshots I have see so far are very impressive, vibrant colors and great art work. Should be great!

Review: I bought this game the other day, pretty cool the graphics are pretty tight. Fun too, kept me up 3 nights in a row trying to finish. I would recommend buying this game it is a fun exciting computer game. Props go to the Sierra Company once again.

Summary: Excellent City Simulation
Review: Impressions Studios is the developer responsible for this game as well as Pharoah, Cleopatra, and Caesar 3 before it. These "City-Building Simulations" allow you to build and govern fantastic cities. Unlike the Sim City series, these games allow you much greater control over your domain. You don't merely zone for housing and lay roads; you control what your citizens eat and drink, where they live, and how they work. Your city comes alive as each citizen walks the streets, going to and from work or perhaps to the theater to take in a show. Zeus is loaded with improvements over earlier games in the City-Building series. Even if you haven't played any of those games, you will still benefit from the more streamlined operations that Zeus features. For example, buildings are now a more uniform size, making it easier to place them. The number of buildings has also been reduced. Although this may not seem like a "feature", it does simplify the game and allows players to concentrate on other tasks. Commonly-used tools such as the shovel are now placed on the main taskbar. And your walkers -- those hardy citizens whose job it is to deliver goods and services -- are smarter than ever before. Even the buildings received an AI update to help you manage trade and city services. This is a challenging game with a lot of replayability, but it isn't too complicated for new players to enjoy. Zeus comes with a lengthy, multi-mission tutorial that gradually introduces the relevant concepts to novice players. The games includes a half-dozen scenarios, each with multiple missions, that progress in difficulty and offer various levels of challenge. Zeus is clearly Impressions' best work to date.

Summary: A challenge for beginners
Review: I first saw the ad for Zeus in an Archaeology Magazine and was curious. So I bought it and found it was real fun but also a challenge. It took me weeks to pass some levels. I took my copy to Venezuela and my sister loved it so I gave it to her and bought another one. Then I bought Great Empires 2 and that had Zeus so I gave my second copy to my niece. So I'm on my 3rd copy of Zeus. It's a game you can't get enough of.

Review: This is a very fun city sim. Ancient greece in all its glory. Easy interface and gaurnteed to lose some major real time with this one...I stayed up all night to finish the troy senrio. Very fun.
