Summary: I still play them, years later
Review: So what if the graphics aren't in "stunning 3d"? These games don't need them. They may show their age in various areas, but it doesn't matter. If you want solid story-telling, great characters, and amazing mysteries, buy this set. If you're looking for thoughful entertainment, pick this up, by all means. If you want flashy graphics and lots of monsters to kill... go look elsewhere. These games are about thinking, not shooting... solving mysteries, not killing alien creatures. I adore them, and I always will.

Summary: A Series Unlike Any Other.
Review: The Gabriel Knight Series has reestablished the genre of mystery games to a higher level, creating elaborate stories with difficult puzzles and abstract clues that make completing the game extremely difficult. I have all three Gabriel Knight games and love them all. Sins of the Fathers, although it has the worst graphics of the three, is easily the most amazing. Its compelling story about a series of brutal and savage murders related to voodoo rituals is enticing and intense, drawing the player into a twisted circle of betrayal, lies, and discovery. The Beast Within, which was noted as Game of the Year in 1996, is also amazing on all levels. Featuring actual actors instead of 3-D rendered people, the game plays like an interactive movie, while also lacing into it an EXTREMELY complex story concerning a girl's death linked with werewolves.

In essence, these games are some of the best games ever created. Their plots are astounding and their gameplay is without a doubt, the best it can get for a game of its type. Anyone who has a LOT of freetime and is interested in playing games that take skill AND brains, invest in this package immediately.

Summary: The best !
Review: The Gabriel Knight series is probably one of Sierra's best selling adventure games to date. The reason being that the story's creator Jane Jensen digs deep into her research and then magically weaves in her unique method of storytelling. Her characters are strong and memorable and the game play is edge of your seat. You will want to keep coming back for more. The graphics in the two games are completely different- the second is shot with live actors- but both are equally as captivating. Kudos to Jane Jensen and the development team at Sierra for this excellent series. It's one of the best I've gotten into since I read Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles.

Summary: Purfect Blend Of Fact And fiction
Review: The Gabriel Knight series will appeal to you if you love a game where fact and fiction blend so well together that you begin to question what is real and what isn't. The first game blends Voodoo and New Orleans together. The second blends Ludwig II of Bavaria, werewolves and Germany. This game will also appeal to you if you like characters that are meaty and juicy and not Heros and Heroines of Aesops Fables. The Gabriel Knight series have finally delivered a "thinking persons" game. Well done Ms Jenson!

Summary: An impressive collection of a small number of games!
Review: The Gabriel Knigth games, while they don't exactly represent Sierra's finest work, are among some of the most interesting and compelling adventure games released in the post text-parser world. Both games--Sins of the Father and The Beast Within--have some excellent moments, and offer more extensive and more interesting play time than you will find in many modern-day adventure games. If you aren't familiar with the series, or you want the games to keep, you should definitely consider this package.

Summary: The Best Gabriel Knight Mystery Yet
Review: This game was well worth the wait. Solid graphics, challenging puzzles, good dialogue, and the likelihood of a Grace/Gabriel lovematch kept us entertained for several weekends. Hope Jane is working on the next game in this series!

Summary: Two excellent games
Review: Two excellent games in this bundle. The characters are well drawn, and keep you interested and involved. The first game is characteristic of Sierra's adventure games from the early eighties - blocky, hand-drawn graphics. GK2 is full-motion video, and one of the best examples of the genre. It truly will make your heart race.
