Summary: Great
Review: This game is undoubtedly a great sequel to the first Commandos. It has a great learning curve, and the AI is pretty good. There are many different ways to beat the levels, and each one brings new challenges. The levels in the game are incredible, and the missions aren't totally unbelieveable. It's possible that an Underground group could have carried them out.

The training missions make sure that you get to know the basic controls and actions with the game before you get into the larger missions. The operatives you're given to carry out your mission each have their own specific properties that they add to the mission, and every one of them is vital to your completing the mission.
All in all, Eidos has made another great game. I can't wait for a third Commandos, though I don't know what the setting for it would be!

Review: This game is the best game that I have played in my life.
The graphics are impressionant, I recommend it very much

Summary: Just about perfect.
Review: This game reminds me of the joy I experienced playing games on my Atari a long time ago. It is very difficult, but only because what you are trying to accomplish is so hard. Sneaking into secret German bases and evading dozens of Nazi guards and dogs delivers a pattern of tension and release that will keep you glued to the screen. I have not enjoyed a game so thoroughly since Doom. Screenshots can not convey the full quality of the graphics. The character animations are more detailed than anything yet published.

Tips:

Don't let the tremendously difficult 'tutorial' levels discourage you. They are too hard, but fun. Read the .rtf file in the install directory to get an accurate hotkey list. Save frequently--quicksaving and loading are usually completed in only one or two seconds. If you find yourself unable to complete an objective, and are wondering if there is a bug in the game, try each of the secondary objectives instead. Completing one of them may reveal the piece of information or item you need to finish the stalled primary objective.

Summary: FORGET THE REST, PLAY THE BEST.
Review: My son introduced me to the first commandos, behind enemy lines.I Could not stop playing it until Beyond the call of duty came out. Now I go back and forth playing both of them. These games have it all. Everything is so real you feel like you are in a mission of combat and not just a game.I spend so much time playing that I had to buy my son his own computer so he can play.My son thanks you for that. I'm getting commandos 2 for my birthday if I can wait another month, but I don't think I can wait that long. I have just 2 words for you guys. THANK YOU.

Summary: This is why I play games.
Review: This game is great! I picked it up on Sunday and have been playing quite a bit since then. I bought Commando's #1 a few weeks prior and thought that was a great game. It pales in comparison to it's sequel. The graphics are outstanding, the detection system is much more complex(they can hear you). This game is also much more story oriented. You can flat out do more things in this game. I could sit here and list hundreds of great things about this game, but I'll simply say this...Buy it now! If you're like me and are getting tired of the ones coming out now, this game will make you love games again. You won't be disappointed. If you never played the first one, I would recommend buying it too. Peace out!

Summary: It's A Keeper!
Review: Allright guys and gals, I haven't heard much about this game but about a week before its release (Sept. 25th) I began to do some research and it looked allright. I took the plunge and dished out the 50 something bucks to get it that very day of release. Boy did it pay off! This game is incredible! This is my first encounter with the Commando series and I am a WWII buff myself...all I can say is wow. All this time I was looking forward to Medal of Honor:Allied Assault and Return to Castle Wolfenstein when this game was right under my nose! The graphics are intense and realistic, the gameplay is unbelievably in depth, and the fun is addicting. You can man tanks, armored cars, mounted guns, use anti tank mines, molotov cocktails, and interact with nearly everything. The enemy AI is the best I have seen EVER and even now I regret wasting my "game time" writing this review. The night I loaded it on my computer I played it till about 4 in the morning (this was before I even understood the complexity of the game). All I can say is that you won't be sorry...unless you are the Barney-loving, teddy-bear hugging, sorry sap that takes all of the fun out of such great war games.

Summary: These reviews are scary
Review: Ok this game looks pretty awesome but i dont imagine im playing it. Now thats just weird. The only reason i didnt like the most recent one is because the characters were so small.

Summary: Excellent game, crummy manual
Review: I love this game. It has many of the features my wife and I talked about when playing the first Commandos game. All those "wouldn't it be great if X could do this", many of them have been included. The music and sound are top notch, too. My only complaint is the manual. The pictures are too small to really see what they are trying to show you. Glad to see that Tiny no longer cusses when he gets shot as in Beyond the Call of Duty. There's enough cussing in the world without having to hear it in a game. Buy this game as well as the other Commandos games and you won't be sorry.

Summary: Better than the Original!!!
Review: If you liked the first one at all, then you will love Commando's 2! I got this game yesturday and was up all night playing it. The graphics and new character's are amazing and you have many more weapons and gadgets to play with than ever before. The only draw back I have found so far is that the controls are a little rough to get used to, and there is no training missions like the original, so don't get discouraged if it takes a little while to figue it out, once you get the hang of it, it is deffently worth the effort. ENJOY!!
