Summary: Bummer
Review: I have several other titles in this serries, and they are 5 Stars. However, This software failed to function for me, even after: Trying it on other computers in the house. I down loaded the 10 MB patch (latest v5.0) with only the text of the failure changing. Trying to contact EA for support was real Mech-war. Be very serrious before committing. Hopefully they will get the bugs out in a year or two.

Summary: Very Good RTS Action game
Review: C&C Generals has excellent graphics, and a good stroy line.
You better have atleast a 64MB video graphics card (Geforce 4 Nivida) or better to play.

I was disturbed by the use of Arabic people as the only race terrioist in the game.

I which the maps were a bit bigger,so you donot run into the enemy so fast. Empire Earth by Sierra has huge and gigantic maps.

Notwithstanding the above stated, the games is alot of fun.

Summary: gripping

Summary: Fun, fun, fun, fun
Review: I've played every Command & Conquer game since the first one, and Generals blows them all away. The single-player campaigns are clever and challenging, and multiplayer is absolutely phenomenal--not just because it's a blast (which it is), but because it's SO easy to set up and play a game. No screwing around...it just works. (Quite refreshing compared to most multiplayer games.) Best of all, Generals' graphics are phenomenal. If you like to "blow stuff up real good," this is the game for you. (Okay, so the AI could be better, and purists will say this isn't really a "strategy" game. So what! Put aside your preconceived notions and just have fun!)

Summary: Beware!!!
Review: Due to the extensive bugs that run rampant throughout this program that prevent it from running on many machines, EA is allowing customers to send in their original opened copy in return for a sealed copy that can be returned to the place of purchase. Companies never take this kind of action unless truly serious problems exist (e.g., Ultima 9).

Summary: Excellent game - but requires 2 CD's to play LAN multiplayer
Review: Generals is a blast! The graphics are spectaculars, the sound effects are good, and the gameplay is tons of fun. I did all three campaigns all the way through.

However, I am unhappy that I can't play multiplayer with my son, because the greedy bums (Electronic Arts) require that you buy 2 copies of the game to do multiplayer.

Summary: hello my name is sue and i work in a button factory
Review: this game is awesome. it takes about 20 mins to play at a friends house and youll end up buying it within a week. im a RA2 veteran i miss the fast pace games online but generals has too much good stuff to let that get in the way. for one theres a ton of upgrades you can get for your tanks not to mention the new 3d engine. dont pay attention to campaign, it sucks. go online and play against people that can think unlike the AI. this game has infinite replay value. RA2 lasted me 3 years and i see this doing the same. and yes, you will suck for a couple weeks when you start even if u kicked [booty] at the old ones like me.

Summary: Greatest game to date
Review: Generals is one of the best games I have ever played. With the enhanced online play, realistic audio and high-res graphics, you have a complete balance of perfection. Play with or against your friends online to a variety of maps that you can manipulate to your liking using the included editor, or download new maps from others. You can choose to be the US, China or a terrorist group, taking advantage of each different style and weapons. If you like to build...and blow stuff up, Generals is the game for you!

Summary: Red Alert 2 maintains Westwood's Lead in RTS gaming
Review: I am a long-time fan of Westood's RTS games, so I might be a little biased. Red Alert 2 Follows the idea of Red alert with the soviets once again on the offensive. Although now on American Soil. It gives you a decent story line for both the Soviets and Allies, with surprising twists on both sides. However, you have no control over the way the story line plays out. You can't exactly choose you missions. They are just handed to you. Also the missions are ridiculously easy, on the hardest setting the entire game took me five hours for all the missions together. As for strategy this game was very staightforward: Blow up bases.
Where this game becomes worthwhile is in multiplayer(internet). With all sorts of new units you can take man to man strategy up a notch. The old-fashioned tank rush is fun still but can also be your downfall, because some units can teleport anywhere instantaniously and others can mind-control other units. These allow the more creative-not more powerful-player to easily gain the upperhand. I should know I've had the game for some while now, and know it inside out.
