Summary: A Quality Game
Review: It only took me 5 hours after I had bought the game that the twenty bucks were well worth it. The new missions are incredible, and instead of the one vs. entire German Army like the first game, this time you are entrenched and the Germans attack you. I have found that this game offers more of a challenge for those that thought that Allied Assault was too easy. I played the very beggining of the first mission on easy for hlaf-an-hour before I even got out of one house. I would definately nominate this game as a must-buy. In my book, nothing can compete with this game.

Summary: Good, but not worth the price.
Review: There's actually nothing wrong with this expansion pack, other than the price. For 2/3 the price of the original (or main component of the game), I expected something with a little more substance. If game companies continue to put out content that's about 1/5 the original game, they should charge 1/5 the price...

Review: ...I finihed the first (short) mission on medium difficulty in about 2 hours of interupted gameplay.I'm about to finish the 3rd mission after much same old same old gameplay...Great graphics and sometimes spotty gameplay.I loved the sticky bombs and some of the new weapons but they could have added at least two more campaigns...

Summary: Great Game!!!
Review: Hey, I love the Medal of Honor games. I love the WWII & First Person Shooter game genre. This game adds new missions which (in Hard mode) are not that easy. I really like the new weapons you get plus the "Tug-Of-War" games. These TOW games are similar to the objective games in MOH:Allied Assault except there are multiple objectives for each side. The online TOW games are exciting!!! I hope they come out with new maps though since there are only 4 TOW maps right now. If you like Medal of Honor, and you want to extend its appeal then I highly recommend this game.

Summary: A Great Expansion
Review: This is a very good expansion to MOHAA. Though short, the single player levels are a ton of fun, and have great gameplay. Even on my fairly nice gaming systm (2 gigahertz Athlon processor, GeForce 4 Ti 4200, and other stuff.) it still ran sluggish sometimes. But there are video options on your computer that are the problem, not the game. I fixed it without a whole lot of trouble. The multiplayer is what really makes this a great game. I promise, anyone who even remotely likes the single player will love multiplayer. You can play for months and months and it won't get boring. The addition of many new weapons for the British and Russians have added many new options for playing. The new levels are excelent and you can use portable MG 42's. This expansion is definatly worth your money, and there are only a few downsides that gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Summary: Loads of fun but way too short
Review: I'd dare to say that as an expansion pack, Spearhead is a more interesting ride than Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. As fun as this game is to play, however, it ends far too quickly. The average player shouldn't have any trouble polishing it off in several hours.

The game adds a host of new weapons and vehicles, but the dearth of levels doesn't allow you to really enjoy them. About the time you start to have fun with your new "toys", the game ends.

Kudos to EA on a game excellently done, but next time add a few more bangs for the buck, please.

Summary: Short, moneygrabbing effort. We expect more from EA....
Review: Let's start by saying I was a huge fan of MOHA:Allied Assault. And clearly EA are targetting people like me with this add-on. It's extremely short. I mean really s-h-o-r-t! The box claims 9 new single-player levels when in fact there's only 3. I finished this on the first night of play after about 3 hours on the medium difficulty setting. Yes - 3 hours. This is the shortest excuse for an add-on I've ever experienced. EA claim there's 12 new multiplayer maps and loads of new weapons too. But who wants to play online against a bazillion people you don't know. And their claim of new weapons doesn't hold much water either - I didn't see anything different from the original MOHA.
The graphics are the same high quality, the sound too. Gameplay is as good as the original, but for $34 for 3 hours-worth of game? Forget it. Buy a dodgy copy off e-bay for a couple of bucks and don't give EA the satisfation of ripping you off.
The three-star rating is because it's as fun to play as the original. I'd give the overall rating zero stars.

Summary: Great! (but short)
Review: This is a fantastic add-on to the original - better graphics and sound effects. Being a military historian specializing in this theater of operations, it is accurate and the sounds effects are superb! EA Still has some challenges with the graphic renderings of the people, but that is really minor compared to the play-abilty of this add-on! The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars is that I would recommend waiting until this got to a [lower] price as it is much shorter than I had anticipated and does not add too much more to the original outside of several more missions/new weapons etc... Still, I recommend buying this if you liked the first. I am also watching EA's website to see if EA is planning to add more to this line - like the Italian theater of operations and perhaps the abilty to choose which side to play on - Axis or Allied... They should release a soundtrack CD to this series - the music is that good!

Summary: S-L-U-G-G-I-S-H, Maybe I'll sell mine
Review: Okay, I don't have the best computer in the world. But nor is it the worst. It's a HP Pavilion 523 with a 64mb video card that I installed in part because i thought it would enhance game play.

Unfortunately, the card didn't make much of a difference. To be blunt, the action in the opening scenario just staggered along, sometimes running at normal speed, sometimes speeding up, and sometimes freezing.

I guess the bottom line I would give to any reader of this would be: I hope you have a very high quality system because this game doesn't run on regular.
