You can drive around and to Missions or take a walk by geting out of your car!
If you dont want to Missions you can just gold coins by blowing up your car or bumping in to somone else's car to buy stff like a new outfit or somthing.
I reacomend it to ages 8-50

Summary: Mission Impossible
Review: This game has all the elements of an excellent Simpsons game. Real voices, accurate reproductions of every aspect of Springfield, and last but not least, free-for-all demolition derby vehicular destruction! Nevertheless, it gets old after about 2 hours because the missions that are required in order to advance in the game are very, very difficult. They simply do not give you enough time to complete the missions, so you end up trying and retrying them 10-15 times. It ends up being a real bear of a game and I can't recommend it as a result. A pity too, it has such potential.

Summary: Good Game
Review: I just bougth this game and I love it. Many people says that it can't be played on a laptop computer, however I own a laptop hp pavilion and it runs fine. I don;t have any problems with the game. The only thing is that you need a game controller in order to play the game easily.. it's really hard to play it using only the keyboard. But in general it is a very, very good game.
So go ahead and buy it, and start enjoying it right now.

Summary: Is it possible to *NOT* hit everything in sight?
Review: This game is a Midtown Madness ripoff and just as frustrating. When I don't have enough money to buy something required to finish a task, I have to go around knocking down street lights, road signs, trees, mail boxes, etc. to collect a small reward, only to have 50 bucks taken away from me with a dreaded "Hit & Run!". That is when you have four cops (who are impeccable drivers) corner and stop you completely. There is a plethora of traffic, pedestrians, props (inanimate objects that are in the way of your goal), and a lot of other obstacles on & off the streets of Springfield to make sure that you will not get to the next level without cheating. Then there is the issue of having to redo certain tasks again in order to compete in whatever race that you are destined to fail in. Why didn't they implement a "Quick Save" feature when you're right in the car or on foot?

I enjoy the graphics of this game, I like the "sprint" feature (this can help you in many different situations), the "double jump" feature (again, very helpful) and I like how if you're in the middle of a race, you can go to a phone booth and get a different vehicle (as long as you jump out of the car you're sick of and jump into the new car you've "called for" at the phone booth within nine seconds). This can be a bit tricky but it may help you win a few races.

I'm giving this game three stars, even though I feel it is worth up to five because of the interactivity between characters, the graphics, the voice acting, the little vignettes, the ability to hop in a car and wreck stuff and a chance to see the world of the Simpsons like you've never seen it before. The three stars is because I am not an avid racing sim fan and I don't like having to race what is ultimately my own computer. Call me a whiner if you like, let me play a game where there is no timer and I don't have to do something faster than somebody else. My reflexes are crap. To summarize my feelings toward "The Simpsons: Hit and Run": I just can't win.

Summary: Best Video Game Ever!
Review: For those Simpsons fans, this game is a must have. I can tell you that almost all of the video games bearing the Simpsons name have been disappointing; however, this one will win over any person that enjoys the TV series. This game is a solid Grand Theft Auto like game. The animations are great and is truly funny. Hit and Run has a few drawbacks:

- Gets Repetitive
- Control is a little awkward with some camera angles
- Difficulty of scenarios jumps back and forth between levels

All in all the Simpsons Hit and Run is fun and the price is right.

Summary: Homer Has the Right Opinion....
Review: This video game sucks. I never thought anything could make me hate the Simpsons, but this game is it. On a PC, you can't control the vehicles well enough to get a car out of a driveway without hitting something, which would be all right if there weren't a time requirement for every mission. Afterr hitting something coming out of the driveway, you proceed to hit everything in sight until your time is up and you've failed the mission, at which time the game asks you if you'd like to waste another 5 minutes failing the mission again. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!! IT IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

Summary: Runs on my laptop...
Review: It seems like a lot of people have been having trouble playing this game on their laptop pcs, and one said that customer support claims that no laptop can handle the game. However, I run the game just fine on a nowhere near top of the line Compaq Presario 2100 with a 1.6Ghz processor, 512MB ram, and an AT1 Radeon 320 graphics card.

Summary: Crashes on startup
Review: The commercials look great; the clips on their site also look fun. It's just too bad I cannot play this game.

My machine meets the requirements, but the game crashes when I try to start it. Wait for a patch before spending any money on it (assuming, of course, that one will be released).

Summary: Very fun
Review: Finally. You get to explore Springfield, which is reason enough to play this game. It's almost an added bonus that the game is quite fun to play, too. It runs quite smoothly on my machine (Athlon XP1600, 640DDR, GeForce4Ti4200 (128)) and the installation was a snap. I am extremely happy with this purchase.
