Review: They've nerfed the snot out of every class for the most part, and the "Unique" realm abilities are now pretty much gone as well.It's a fun game, but Mythic doesn't have a clue of how to balance a game...

Summary: The Best Game Ever
Review: This game is so awesome imagine you are in dark times you can use a wizard (a magical folk) a fighter (hand to hand combat) or many other characters. There are 3 realms albion, hibernia, and midgard, they are all even except each has 1 thing that the other doesn't you can interact with other people in all the realms and u may battle in a group but you wont gain a level until u get a certain amount of experience Have Fun! and o yeah dont die alot hehe if you see me in realm vs. realm you better look out!

Summary: Shrouded Isles
Review: Shrouded Isles offers some new pve areas to the original DAOC areas, also lets you teleport to different places. Can't say I like the way the game has gone since this came out, in '02 or so, began to feel too restrictive, maybe gated would be a better word. It's a good expansion of the original game. I'd have prefered player controlled horses, or something, to the teleporters. Travel is centered around teleporters now, especially with new frontiers(free expansion for rvr).

Summary: Broken expansion and broken patches
Review: After purchasing a second PC to play this game I purchased an upgraded video card just to load this expansion.
What followed was two months of troubleshooting, trying to solve the problems with patches 1.58 and 1.59.
I finally gave up and cancelled both of my accounts. Mythic and their "tech support" was no help.
Although I did enjoy the game when I was able to play, the constant updating of the software is a problem when there is little apparent testing of new code.
