Delta Force V: Black Hawk Down

Summary: Looks very promising and not a disgrace in my book.
Review: the latest addition to the Land Warrior series. I have beta tested the game prior to release and all my reported bugs have been fixed in the current multiplayer pre-release demo which may be downloaded here. The game boasts an awesome improvement in graphics from it's predecessor although only a few months have passed since it's release. The gaming engine appears to handle "lag" a lot better than all previous versions. The ability to man fixed and mobile positions that include minigun, Browning .50 cal, and M40 Grenade Launchers as well as ride in Blackhawk helicopters and HMMWVs (Hummers for all the civilians) make this one of the more versatile FPS games that I have seen in the past two years. The recent demo has introduced PSPs or Progressive Spawn Points which allow opposing teams to take control of the neutral flags. Once these positions are under team control a player can choose their respawn location from the available PSPs. I enjoy playing the demo and will definitely purchase the final version which is scheduled for release this October. I highly recommend that you download the demo. You can find a reason to not buy any game that deals with war. There hasn't been a war yet where everyone walked away. The point is, they merely are putting the player in the region it is not as if you are portraying any of the actual soldiers or commanding the operation that is doomed to failure. As with the movie, what you take away from the game will depend on your outlook but most will feel a respect for those soldiers who participated in the operation and those brave enough to make the sacrifice.

Review: I can't believe they are doing a game after those Special Forces soldiers who were killed on that horrible day in Mogadishu(spelling?).
These people who designed the game couldn't have picked another country in the world. North Korea? Afghanistan? How about Iraq?
This is strictly a respect issue and to make a game off of a terrible incident for this country especially in these times is extremely insensitive and greedy.
To those who think, "well its only a video game" try selling the game to the families of the soldiers who were killed or maimed.

Review: Nevermind the negative reviews, they havent played the updated demo, this game is excellent and I dont understand how this would be disrespectful to anyone. Is MOHAA disrespectful to all WWII veterans?

Review: Well, I've seen this game in action and I must say that it's pretty impressive compared to the other titles in the series. For those who want a mix of Counter-Strike, Ghost Recon and the movie itself, look no further. I must say that I understand how Jason Page feels, but rather than portray a disgrace and dishonor to the soldiers who lost their lives, I believe the game instead gives us a chance to relive the courage, valor and bravery of those men who fought hard in those two days. It also helps remind us of the good cause that they fought for - for the peace and freedom of the Somalian citizens. True, many were massacred, and for that reason we can all be reminded of how lucky we are to be living such peaceful and unoppressed lives. If Delta Force: Black Hawk Down were to be considered a dishonor, then I guess Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and Battlefield 1942 are even worse off... which of course, they are not.

Review: This game is a huge disapointment. Of cousre novalogic makes it so that explains the reason it's (bad). There detail is not good the charecters dont even look as good as soilder of fortune 2. The controls (are bad), can cant adjust the mouse sensitivity. The guns are weak. The only cool things about the game are that it has a big levels, and you can fly in the black hawks shooting the gatling gun. Other than that the game is poor and if you want a good game save it for counter strike condition zero.

Review: This game is a good one. I would go out and buy it right when it comes out. The gameplay is excellent and it is a huge step in the DELTA FORCE series. You have to go and get the demo and see what it's all about.

Review: I strongly suggest that you grab the beta version or the demo when it comes out to see for yourself just how much fun this game is. If the screenshots from E3 are any indication of the stunning graphics and playability that we are in for, this game will blow any other war simulator out of the water. Imagine the thrill of being a door gunner for a blackhawk, mowing down everything below you, or manuevering your way through the streets of Mogadishu in a humvee. I gotta say, I can't wait for this game to arrive on my doorstep!

Review: I played the multiplayer beta test and this game reaaaaaally improved and evolved over Task Force . It remembers me in some way MOH:AA , some things look similar : the way you carry your gun , the sniper rifle's scope , etc. I loved how you can fly on a chopper and sweep your enemies from the sky . Well , you have to try the beta to know what this game is and whats not , but , overall , this game is...GREAT !

Review: I think Delta force Blackhawk down should cost less, like $20.00 or at least $24.00. target is making it so that only people that have 30 bucks can buy it. So please!!!!!!!!!!! Lower the price target. You will be thanked for it, by thousands.
