Rating: Summary: A true skating game... Review: I never thought that THPS4 would ever come out on PC, but here it is! As soon as I saw it posted here, on Amazon.com, I instantly had it shipped. It just arrived yesterday, and it is so cool! The graphics are a lot better than they look on the screenshots, and the cheats are awesome! A definate must-have!

Rating: Summary: tony hawk 4 Review: I'm confused - is this new or used. It indicates used once you put it in your cart. As well, is this windows or mac. It says mac but then has system requirements for bot windows & mac.
Rating: Summary: Fun game but not as expected Review: I've been a Tony Hawk Pro Skater fan for years, every game seems to get better than the last and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 is no exception, the addition of the spine transfer is genious, it allows for much more interesting lines and combo's than ever before. I find myself playing this game almost every day, the goals are much harder than Tony Hawk 3 and also alot more fun. unfortunately the PC version has many flaws that make me almost wish i haden't purchased it. in the bigger levels like san fransisco and kona i get alot of lag (im running a 2.5 ghz system w/128mb geforce T1-4200 w/8x agp and 1gb of ddr ram) even on the lowest setting 640 x 480 i experience it. the only way to get rid of it is to use distance fog which makes finding the skate and combo letters nearly impossible, not to mention distance fog is just plain sucky. setting the spin and switch buttons can't be done because you are forced to have them be shared as 1 button and this can't be changed. Online play is the worst, you have to download and login to use gamespy arcade instead of how thps3 was where you had a lobby built into the game. so your constantly starting and shutting down your game just so you can find a decent room with people to skate with... not cool at all. the least they could have done was have a "skip intro" option like 3 did. oh and did i mention you can't kick people from your game if your the host? so if you find you have a cheater in your game (which will happen in the future) your forced to play with them. To sum it all up the game itself is fun but has very little replay value once you finish all the goals due to the ... online play. ...
