Summary: Sweet
Review: This game is AWESOME! I don't really care that they took force destruction out that was in The first Jedi Knight game i give this 4 stars and not 5, sorry but the game was sweet, I just think the levels are too hard and I usually died to easily. The force also usually drains too fast, considering the level 3 lightning drains it almost instantly, Desann has an unlimited amount of force which really got me mad. I still say this game is the Best LucasArts game. I wonder what they'll come up with next...

Summary: Jedi Nighty night
Review: All I have to say bout this game is that it is fun for a couple hours once you get your lightsaber. There are some fun levels and special effects are great but.... now the con- no real replayability, once I finished it, which didn't take too long, I didn't want to play it again, and the multiplayer isn't much better than the first jedi game... I recommend waiting for Knights of the old republic to come out if you really want to lightsaber duel. Also Star Wars Galaxies is coming out in January and will be a great online RPG- with space wars and light saber battles.

Summary: Best Star Wars Game
Review: This was the first game I purchased when I got my new computer. I rarely play computer games, but a friend of mine referred this one to me. Ever since I installed the game, I have been hooked. The graphics are excellent, the player controls are easy to remember and the action in the game is incredible! I hope that more games are made the way this one was. If you are having any doubts about buying this game, forget them....you are truely going to enjoy the game. Oh...the game is a lot more fun if you use *some* of the cheat codes(especially starting the game with the lightsaber), which can be found on the web.

Summary: One of the best games I've ever played.
Review: First of all, I'm a huge Star Wars fan. I have many LucasArts games, but none of them even comes close to this. The graphics and sound are superb, and while the game can be difficult at times, it wasn't bad enough to make me too frustrated. There were probably about five places in the game where I had to resort to a walkthrough, but I don't think that it effects the game's overall quality. A must buy for any Star Wars or action game fan.

Summary: Best Star Wars game yet
Review: I wish you could use a joystick w/ this game, but you really shouldnt bother.
It's the best piece of work from LucasArts I have ever seen, and I've seen a few. The only clumsy part is the various keyboard commands necessary to quickly move your character through his world, while waxing the bad guys.

Very cool game, if you like Star Wars, and first persons this games IS IT !!!

Summary: one Lucases finest
Review: This is the number one starwars game so far. The gragpics are great and the story line is one worthy to be made a movie out of. You play the role of kyle katarn (as you may have guessed) and with your partner jan and go head to head with a rebelion against the new republic and aventually go in to combat with the evil Dassan and his minion jedi. the best level is the second last level where you help jedi at lukes academy to defete the dark jedi who have come to destroy the one obsticle that stands in their way. There are a few problemes that may come to your attention such as the movies, they arent in real life like there where in the previous jedi knight, there done in computer animation and the graphics for the are worse then they are when your actually playing. Other then that the game is great and is highly recomended.

Summary: FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!
Review: I have played both Dark Forces and Jedi Knight, and am an avid video game player, but this takes the cake! I can't express how delighted I am with this game. I recommend getting the collectors edition if possible because it comes with Dark Forces, Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight, and Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast. Don't take my word for it though, buy it yourself and find out how freaking awesome this game really is!

Summary: Dark Forces truly arrives with this spectacular game
Review: The original "Dark Forces" game was a fine piece of computer gaming. Strong battle sequences, challenging and complex levels, and stellar gameplay helped propel it to one of the more successful and accomplished titles in the vast "Star Wars" gaming universe. The story of Rebel agent Kyle Katarn's mission to destroy the Dark Trooper and thwart the Empire was very compelling.

Of course, with any great game, there will be a requisite sequel. The biggest fear of any gaming fan is that a follow-up game will simply not be able to measure up to its predecessor (Rebel Assault comes to mind). The "Dark Forces" franchise suffers no such fate with the release of "Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight". "Jedi Knight" continues the tale of Kyle Katarn and expands it in a dynamic way. It would seem that Katarn has Jedi Heritage and he is tasked with mission of protecting an ancient Jedi burial ground from some evil Dark Jedi who wish to harness its power to control the galaxy. The interesting twist in this game, as opposed to the earlier version, is that, now that Katarn is a Jedi, he has Jedi powers which the player can use to help defeat his enemies and protect the ancient Jedi.

"Jedi Knight" is powered by superior graphics and enhanced by full motion video cut-scenes that further the story arc (the actress that plays Jan Ors is a real cutie ;-)). As with the previous "Dark Forces", this game is sufficiently challenging, but it's the entertainment value of the journey that makes even more fun. Each level builds on one another and provides a different twist and a different challenge. There is one particular level where Katarn is aboard large ship that is slowly crashing into a canyon below. Katarn has just about 10 minutes to get activate the landing bay and get to his fighter before the ship crashes. All the while, he has to disorienting gravity shifts. It's a truly innovative level.

"Jedi Knight" also comes with a set of companion missions called "Mysteries of the Sith" which focuses more of cult favorite character, Mara Jade, and her battles against the Empire and to rescue Katarn from an evil Dark Jedi fate. "Jedi Knight" provides hours of quality gameplay, and the true excellence of the game is demonstrated in how it keeps the player coming back to play it again and again without it ever getting old.
