Summary: Very Disappointing
Review: This is the most dissapointing PC game I have bought in quite a while. I enjoyed the earlier Duke titles and thought they were great FPS games. The Manhatten Project retains some of the feel of the previous Duke games but is not up to par with its ancestors. The biggest complaint I have is with the user interface. It is nearly impossible to control the on-screen character with either keyboard commands or the joystick. Also, the horizontal only movement and the third person perspective does not work well with a shoot-em-up such as this. I like the graphics and the game concept but control is of paramount importance in a shooter and this game just does not have it.

Review: though this new Duke Nukem game is fun...it is definitely lacking. The side-scroller setup is quite annoying and makes the game confusing. thought there are plenty of pigs and babes, the game is not up to the normal duke standard. I mean...come on...the babes have clothes on!!

Summary: Great to have 2D games.
Review: Unlike some of the children that have written thier views on 2D and the only genre they know, 3D, it is my opinion that 2D games still have life. It is of course where 3D games were originated. I wouldn't expect a child to understand the difference between the two and the special advantages 2D games have over 3D games. This title is a seriously good game. It has the nice graffics that a 2D game offers and game-play. It is a solid product.

Summary: Big Fan of Duke...Not This Game Though
Review: Very disappointed in this version of Duke Nukem. I didn't care for the side motion and third person view. Previous versions although DOS based were much funnier to play. Also it ran like ... on my computer running Win ME.

Summary: Not the same Duke we all loved
Review: What happened to this game? This game is in 3rd person!! What is up with that? Poor Duke, I hate to see you go this way 'ol buddy. This would have been a great follow-up to the original, but not after playing Duke in 1st person for so long. Good-bye old freind. We all hope to see the real Duke again someday. This was a disapointment. Don't get me wrong, for what it is, the graphics are good. If you had never played the other it might be OK.

Review: What's with all the babies wining that this game is not like the original? It's not 1st person, waaaaaa. It's not 3d, waaaaaa. Well, the original Duke Nuken--and the 2nd for that matter--WERE 2d side-scrollers, and a lot of fun! This game is no less fun. It's great! Just because we are in a world now with machines fast enough for 3d doesn't mean a 2d game can't be fun. Geesh, these children probably think the first Castle Wolfenstein was 3d!DrXenos

Review: You just must play this game. It's a blast. Great graphics, great sound, and FUN in spades. I play games a lot, but I have not had this much fun playing a PC game for years. I don't know why it is, but this game just works. and Duke RULEZ!
