Summary: A Bitter Disappointment
Review: As a beta tester I had the chance to play online in the multiplayer beta test. So far I have been very disappointed.

When I first heard of the new space epoch I was thrilled. I couldn't wait. But sadly the space epoch is no more than water turned into space and islands into moons. I will leave out the bugs because it is beta and they are likely to be fixed. But with the very few new units and the lameness of the space epoch I would have to say that Empire Earth stopped with part one.

The space ships (The Capitol Ship, Corvette, Transport and Space Carrier) are poorly designed graphically. While there are new civilization bonuses there are only a few new units besides the space ships.

Unless Mad Doc Software adds a whole lot of new stuff before finalizing the product (which I doubt will happen unless they extend the final release date) I don't think I will be wasting my money on it. It is at best a $5.00 add-on.

I would not even give it the second star were it not for a major overhaul in the multiplayer game room setup.

The Art of Conquest expansion is a sad ending for the best game I have ever enjoyed.

Summary: A good game made even better
Review: As soon as I saw that one of my favorite games (Empire Earth) had an expansion pack I took out Empire Earth and played it for an hour of two to see what they might have added. There could be plenty of things that they added like:

-New Civs
-Paratroopers
-New missions
-More upgrades

If you have played and finished at least one of the four campaigns in Empire Earth then you will most likely want to get this game. Even though I haven't played it (or bought it for that matter), this looks like a really cool expansion to a great game. Although I wouldn't go so far as to give 5 stars to a game I don't even have.

Summary: EE rules
Review: awsome game. it's great, new age(Space age). Tons of new campains. I never get bored of playing it. Its easy to play not a comlex strategy game were you have to be a ginuse to win. Overal the game is a great expantion to the game of the year. Cant wait till EE2 comes out.

Summary: A little flat
Review: Empire Earth is a very good game. This expansion does have a few extras in it that make it fun, but their main selling point, the space aspects, leave a lot to be desired.

Basically, the space units are sea units, and the "planets" are nothing but small islands. The units: carriers, transports, and battleships, are simply redesigned naval vessels. Also, if there was such a thing in real life as the space units, they would be able to traverse the entire planet and attack anything. In EE:AOC, they can only attack the outside fringe of the planets, and not anything on the face of the planet itself.

Overall, this might be a good add-on for some people, myself included, but the hype over the space units and epoch is unwarranted. If you're a die-hard EE fan, then this is a good buy. If not, reconsider, unless you want to play someone else who has the expansion.

Summary: the best expansion in the world
Review: Empire Earth: the art of conquest expansion with no doubt is the best expansion pc game in the world. It has about 10,000 more years then the orginal Empire Earth pc game. Also it has special options such as paratroopers, sas comamdos, and about 15 other options not available on the orginal Empire Earth. The only bad thing is that it takes a long time to play a single game and it takes up a lot of memory for your pc. I would sugest you play this game a few times on easy because it is a hard game for beginners. After you get a sense of what the controls do, you can start doing harder stuff where your enemy attacks you. It's the campaigns I like because they include WWII in the Pacific and major battles that turned the war into America's hands. Also there are campaigns such as the digital age(right after moderen) and an older age in B.C. times. This is is a great game!!

Summary: Great, But Could Be Better
Review: I bought this game about 6 months ago and have been glued to it. It's near perfect, but there are a few problems. First, there is a limit to how many units you can have that is way too small. It makes it very difficult to cretae full-scale battles when you can only have 1200 units on the field. Also, the Scenario Editor is very hard to understand. I still don't know how to change the na,es of units or how to make the computers units stand still for awhile.Another problem is the lack of campaigns. There are enough to keep you busy but they soon diminish.
The good things about this game are numerous. First of all, gameplay is very fun and well organized. The campaigns are 100% history based and I learned quite a bit. The Multiplayer part of the game is fantastic and full of players. The Scenario Editor and Campaign Editor let players experiment and be creative. After the facts, I would give the game 4 stars.

Summary: What I think, and a description of the expansion+space age.
Review: I bought this game off amazon.com for $.... First thing first, the expansion is not anywhere as good as the first. You get like 4-6 new units in scenerio mode, and a new age (space age), plus civilization abilities. The Russian team gets a nuclear base as their special ability, but every team gets to make anti-nuclear missle veichles, as if everyone were to fight Russia. In the Space age you can not make docks or ship yards (sea power is dead), instead you make space ships (about 4 different ones, including transport) and space turrets. The space in the game is like the sea, a big black area filled with stars. Only space ships can go on it. Space ships can't go on land or water. Your space port has to be built where land and space meet only, so your ... if your surrounded by water. Space ships can attack land, but not very far, the distance is about 3-5 town centers put next to each other. So it is possible that some one from the nano age can defeat someone from the space age. The cybers have no other upgrades. In Nano and Space, your citizens become robots. The first EE is the one of the best stategy games to me, but the second one just ruins it.

Summary: great
Review: I bought this game when it first came out and have been loving it since then. The graphics are decent and all the ages and units are great. I think this expansion improved on a already awesome game.

Summary: So much potential....
Review: I have been a regular EE player since December most of the players no me as SRW.. and from playing the beta I can tell you this for the expansion. This is what they should have had or upgraded to during the regular EE but what they have done is pretty nice.

The multiplayer setup is breathtaking compared to the old one and the graphics are sharper too with a lot less lag. Finding friends now on empire earth is so easy and you don't even have to hit a button they pop up as soon as you sign on allowing you to find what server and what game they are playing. When looking for games to play they couldn't have made it any simpler then this they have it based on skill level you want to play, map, age, ping (which is how fast the host internet speed is going), and how many players are in the game already.

The new units and epoch are interesting more than anything, starting with the new space epoch which is probably the worst crap ever on EE the map they provided is horrible which is a mars map that sounds good until you play, because all they did was take a water map and painted it black with stars and turned battleships into spaceships etc..The new units in the game which isn't that many (but again this is only a beta) are exceptional and make the game even more fun to play with ninjas to SAS units.

Last of all there are the new civilizations which make the game extremely fun with the USA market which allows you to swap iron for gold and vice versa, Babylon tower which gives you the power to convert enemy units, and Rebel Forces (its Future Russia) that allow you to cloak your units which is very helpful when your attacking and being attacked.

Remember what I am playing is only a beta version, from now to when it is released everything can be different. I love the game of EE and I would only suggest it now to people who like it too.

Summary: Great expansion pack.
Review: I have read several reviews from gaming sites that this games doesn't offer enough. Gamespot in particular gave this a 5.2 out of 10 rating and gave the value a 3 out of 10. Give me a break. This expansion pack gives you 18 new missions (ever seen another expansion pack do that? not many I will bet, and a few of them are pretty hard. There is also a new option that you can make each mission easier or harder instead of having to start the complete scenario over (though I am glad it din't have that option in the original becasue I would have taken that way out on a few of those tough missions). The graphics didn't improve all that much, and neither did the cutscenes, but it seems there was alot more color added to the terrain, units, and buildings. There are also new maps for multiplay or going against the computer like mars and the moon. There is also a new civilization you can play. There are serveral hours of gameplay (especially with with many of the mission in each scenario lasting 2 hours or more to beat), so this adds much more to an already awesome game. And with the price it is selling at now, how can you not add this to your EE collection. A great value for all the gameplay you will get.
