Summary: Close quarter battle that is highly realistic.
Review: As a military person I can tell you this is extremely authentic.

If you've played the original 'Rainbow Six' you'll automatically notice the changes... -Better artificial intelligence (they are TOO realistic and SMART) -Improved characters (they act just like human beings...you see eyes blink, breath in cold air, and they even LIMP, drag their LEG, etc. when shot! )

This is not a typical 'shoot em up' doom type game...it's real world folks. One shot can and usually does kill you. The good thing is it's only a game and you can lead teams (up to 5 per team with a max of 4 teams if a mission supports it). I have limited space here, but it is very addictive, fun and an involving view into real world anti-terrorism!

Summary: cool
Review: I really love this game. I got it a little late but i haven't stopped playing it since. It's one of the best games i've ever played. and i've played a hell of a lot of game. I highly recommend it. It's better than R6. if there is a comparision.

Summary: After I tried the demo, I don't want to buy the full version
Review: The main purpose of demos is to allow people to try the games. It is intended to attract hardcore gamers to buy the full-version. Of course, demos must be stable and good in quality. Unfortunately, this is not the case for Rogue Spear.

I tried the demo twice and my system crashed twice. I guess that has already explained everything. How can I buy the full version if I am not impressed with the demo?

Although the graphics and sound effects are excellent, the game's stability is highly questionable. I know that there are so many positive reviews for this game, but there are several negative reviews too. Before you spend $40+ for this game, I recommend you to read the review on gamespot

Summary: SNIPER: "sights are hot"
Review: I bought this game about 2 months ago and still play it, even though I went through all the missions on the easy level, with the cheat codes on a few. There is one level in here, Kosavo, I think, that you cant help but want to play over and over, it looks beyond real, its raining, and sort of reminds me of a scene in Saving Private Ryan: VERY REALISTIC- you must buy this game if you like the first person shootem up genera.

Summary: Falls short due to lack of content
Review: Rainbow six is an impressive and awe inspiring game. It is fun to play and very addicting. However this module has a limited number of senarios and the time to cost benefit is minimal. If you liked rainbow six this is a must have. But there should ahve been more content. Treuly the scenery is magnificent, but who buys a game for scenery. I would like to see more missions and more varity. It pales next to the orignal

Summary: R6 has returned with More Powerful Enemy ever dreamt of..
Review: I played this game and it ROCKS...really.. Never imagined that Bug-filled R6 could be so entertaining and COOL than ever..

It's the coolest and I want to have it for myself. Best Present for incoming Millenium..

Summary: Rogue Spear - The Most Realistic Shooter Ever!
Review: I have had Rogue Spear for about 2 months now. And the best word you can use to describe it is REALISTIC. If you have ever played RAINBOW SIX (the game Rogue Spear continues from), you already have an idea of how awesome it is. But Rogue Spear is not what RAINBOW SIX was... it is much better. You are a counter terrorism team assigned to rescue hostages and successfully complete objectives in full-detail 3-D worlds. And the terrorists are not stupid. They will act to your every move, they will hide to ambush you, duck your shots, shout things at you, and take cover when they need to reload their guns. You can play missions during the day, night, or even with weather effects such as snow, fog, and rain! All of these things add to how realistic the game is. You can play over the internet in multiplayer mode with up to 16 people playing at a time! With so many weapons to choose from (frag grenades, smoke grenades, heart beat sensors, flashbangs, and more) you will be playing multiplayer over and over again. Multiplayer mode is so realistic, that when you hear a gun being fired, you can tell what gun it is. When you see a gun in someones hand, you can tell what gun it is. Frag grenades make more noise than ever in this unbelievable game! You can talk to people on your team in multiplayer mode using the BOUND KEYS that can be specified in your "OPTIONS" section of Rogue Spear. Order your team-mates to get down, take cover, cover your back, use a frag grenade, retreat, and much much more. No first person shooter even compares to Rogue Spear. Not even Goldeneye 007 (popular game for Nintendo 64). Rogue Spear is so real and addictive, like Red Storm Entertainment states on the back of the box, you will be shouting "tango down!" in your sleep for weeks! Don't wait... buy this game!

Summary: Rogue rocks
Review: I downloaded the demo and was really impressed. Your team can act indipendant of your controls. It is very intense at the harder settings. You can only get shot 1 or 2 times before you die, and the bad guys know when to duck!

Summary: This game rules!
Review: Rainbow 6 was a prime example of what a great game should be. Rogue Spear takes it one step farther. Simply put, Rogue Spear is the best combination of a first-person shooter and a real-time strategy game ever made. It is the best hybrid game I've ever played. This is definitely worth your money. So quit wasting time reading this review and go buy it!

Summary: Rogue Spear a great sequel to Rainbow Six
Review: This game has done something very few games have been able to do , it has become better than its original maker. Many game companies in a hurry to make a profit, don't put as much effort or creativity into their sequels of their games, but Red Storm Entertainment isn't one of them!!!!

Reasons why this is hands down better than the original and quite possibly the best game of the 90's: Challenging missions that combine not only action but strategy. Rainbow Six was the first game where you could actually plan out youre mission and execute it just like a top secret military team would in real life. The graphics and sound in Rogue Spear (if you can believe it) are better than the original:
Team members talk more during tense situations ("It's ok you're safe"), their movements are very lifelike, they can blink and breathe just like a real person. You see them enter a room carefully for any danger, then they follow their plan. Before you begin a level you are treated to a musical score to get you pumped up for the action!!! It is simply inspiring.

The levels are breathtaking, in the First level you go inside a Museum taking by Middle Eastern Terrorists, in the Second level you are on ship and must not only prevent a bomb from being detonated, but rescue the hostages in the ship!!

Replay Mode for every mission. This is my favorite part of the game where you can look at how well or bad you completed a mission. My only complaint of the original Rainbow Six is that after you completed a mission there wasn't anything more to look at. With the replay mode, you can watch youre completed mission over and over again. Get some popcorn ready. :-)

The challenge would give even the most experienced game player , hours and hours to try to beat even a single level. (Try playing on Elite/Veteran)

Oh yes and there is network support for it too over the net. Multiplayer options include saving youre team captain from the enemy, wiping out youre opponents team, and a whole bunch of stuff.

You will need a 3d accelerator card, like the Voodoo 3000, otherwise the game wont look 3d and the maps and characters wont look crisply textured.

Finally, there are several mission packs for Rogue Spear.
This is what 3d gaming is all about!!!
If you're looking for an action packed game with a challenge, you're search is over. Haha.
