Summary: Slightly More Intricate Than Past Games. Has Potential
Review: For everyone who loves the simulation games like SimCity, this edition will not disappoint as it expands the options that each designer can use to develop their city. The potential for more diverse building types and a more interesting development scenario add to flavor of the game. In reality though, 3000 Unlimited is nearly identical to the most previous editions to the game, merely adding some interactive features.
If you are a big fan of SimCity and want to get even more in depth with your cities, go ahead and buy it, the price is right. If you were easily bored with SimCity 2000 or 3000, maybe you should try another scenario game. For someone who has never played the game before, it's your call. Either buy it now to test it out or wait a year or two until the newest edition is released (I assume there will be one). Most likely the next edition will be different than 3000 Unlimited.

Summary: SimCity 2000 in a pretty package
Review: Don't get me wrong Sim City 2000 was great I loved it. But this game is just Sim City 2000 with better graphics. Thats all I have to say. Im mad I bought it when I already have Sim City 2000. Oh yea you can not make farms, I tried, its imposible.

Summary: Improved but...
Review: This Game is much more improved that Sim City 3000, but it only had a little more than 3000, whereas Sim City 3000 was not even in the same league as Sim City 2000. Overall it is ok, but not the best.

Summary: New to SimCity!!
Review: Being new to the SimCity serie, I have to say that this game is great!! Of course I have heard of the Sims, but I never got a chance to play any of the games in the serie. I can play 3 hours straight without realizing it. The landmarks building (even though they don't do anything to the actual simulation) look great, and I love having the Eiffel Tour, or the Empire State Building in my back yard ;o)

One drawback: my computer has only 96Mb of RAM, and when my city gets bigger and bigger, the game gets slower and slower. That's easily fixable though!!

Summary: Must be for younger people!
Review: I was very anxious to get this game. To be frank, I just didn't get it !
I had it up and running but I just couldn't figure out what to do. Hope you will have better luck.

Summary: Good game, could have been better.
Review: Sc3k unlimited is a nice game with cartoon like graphics. But the city does not look real and some of the things seem unrealistic. Like during a railroad crossing, the train stops and give way to cars!!! And also if you get reward like fine arts center or universities they don't really affect the city. They are just there to beautify your city. And I never understood the rail system. What is a train box? Seems quite unrealistic. No doubt the game is good but these things had to be looked upon first when releasing the game. And also auras and pollution don't really do much to the game. They hardly play any effect on the game. And the sea should have been made bit more sea like and not just blue color. The bus stops don't really help much at all. Two are enough for a whole city!! And buildings repeat so much that you get tired soon of seen them again and again. And they say that industrial zone and residential zone should not be close. But I made them and no one really bothered about it. Wonder why not. I think these things should be improved on the next version of sim city. I am really looking forward to the next version.

Summary: Buy SC3KU, keep SC3K
Review: This new version is good, and its new features are cool, but it's not worth the money to buy a whole other game when you already have Sim City 3000, the Unlimited version is not much different, they could've done a lot more for the time they had to develop it. My verdict: If you have Sim City 3000, don't buy it, if you want to buy a Sim City 3000, buy Unlimited.

Summary: Me Likey
Review: SimCity 3000: Unlimited is quite entertaining, i had played it for a little when i first got it, difficult to get started so i set it aside for another time. i had forgotten i had it until a friend saw it in my CD tower and asked how it was remembering i used to play Sim games all the time, so i installed it, started playing, been playing all day for 3 days, and i'll prolly continue to considering im having the most fun ive had in a long time. takes a bit to relearn a few aspects, went bankrupt about 40 times so i adjusted a few knick knacks in the budget, and maybe a load or two if i needed to build a power plant that went dead, then hit african swallow and make sure my end of year funds went closer to zero rather than further in debt and waited... ...

Summary: thousandth time: got no replay
Review: Has been out for several years but this simulation has nice graphics. The problem is that it doesn't play fun for long.
I've played Simcity 2000 and had more fun with it. Simcity 3000U doesn't have catchy music and the funny newspaper was replaced by a near-meaningless ticker tape. Etcetera. Has a scenario editor but custom scenarios play the same.

Summary: I forgot to mention
Review: I forgot to mention a drawback this game has, I have a very high tech computer and this game still takes a tremendous amount of time to load, you can proabably go cut the yard and then come back before it loads.
