Summary: it's great
Review: if you like morrowind, then there's no reason not to get this.

it appears small at first, but when you get into it, it really lets loose. i don't want to spoil anything, but when you get into exploring the sewers, you'll REALLY know what your character is made of.

however, i finished the main quest in like 3 days.. so it is kind of short, but i'm still not finished with Morrowind proper, and i now have some pretty sweet toys to help me along thanks to Tribunal. and i do keep going back to Mournhold just because there's so much to do.

Summary: Can't say enough about this game!
Review: Elder Scrolls III is absolutely one of the best games I've ever played.

There are so many things to do in it. Normally, I can finish a game in a matter of weeks or days (depending on how big it is). I've been playing this one religiously for about 3 months and still haven't finished it. There are tons of quests (I'm trying to do as many as I can) & hilarious easter eggs.

I don't yet have parts 1 or 2 - it wasn't necessary to be able to understand #3.

Elder Scrolls III also comes with a construction set which allows you to alter anything in the game. You can create your own dungeons, quests, characters, races, weapons - anything...

The ability to enchant & customize weapons and create your own spells is a lot of fun.

The graphics are phenomenal, the voice acting is great, and the story line is detailed (nonlinear). The books in this game are amazing - I feel as if I'm there.

I'm a huge fan of the Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Diablo, and Arcanum type games. Elder Scrolls III ranks right up there with them. I recommend this one to anyone I can!

Summary: A pretty waste of time
Review: Firstly, Morrowind's visuals should be addressed. They're gorgeous and well planned. The water effects will make you drool and the environments are lovely also; some building complexes are stunning from a distance.

And thats it.

Once the visuals wear off, you are left with a poorly designed, over-ambitious, and aimless game that leaves you with nothing but wasted time trying to make the game interesting for yourself.

Combat is flat-out boring and pointless. Dont even bother with magic. Save it for healing yourself afterwards, but the myriad of buffs and attack spells are worthless in battle. Buff spells have little noticable effect and attack spells are dicey at best, assuming you can even pull the spell off.

The journal system is abysmal and makes you crave the simplicity and ease of Baldur's Gate 2. Dialogue is uninteresting and forces you to rely on an awkward tree-system that sorely needs scrapping. The economy system is underdeveloped and quite useless. Money serves little purpose after a while because merchants dont carry anything interesting and hauling around expensive treasure wont do you any good because you'll find NOBODY who can give you a fraction of its value.

The world is genuinely massive and there isnt much that looks the same, but travelling isnt worth it unless you are sent on a "quest," if you can call being a virtual ... employee for hours upon end "questing." Worst of all, the story is a snooze and unoriginal. The BG series always kept me on my toes and most sidequests were at least partly related to what was going on around me. BG left me wanting more. Morrowind left me wanting BG.

Overall, I suggest you avoid this game and stick with BG or possibly NWN. There may be a grand vision behind this, but it was lost a very long time ago.

Summary: Must Get!
Review: Personally I have only tried the game on XBox,but this game is awesome all the same. Fantasic graphics, awesome adventures, and the way your character is looked upon(according to the stuff you do)makes this a must get game. All the character classes, inventory items, facial expressions and the never ending quests keep you wishing for more and you're in luck because it has over four-hundred of them. So come this Christmas you'll know what to get.

Summary: Everything I ever wanted in an RPG but was afraid to ask for
Review: This is a stellar computer adventure/RPG game. Caveat: it is stellar for MY tastes ;). The player chooses a race (from a list of about nine: 3 elven, 2 non-humanoid, perhaps 4 human), gender, appearance and profession (a wide variety, with the ability to custom-tailor the profession if you want). Your character starts by being bailed out of prison (for what crime?) by the emperor himself, given a set of instructions, then set loose to hide, fight, go rogue, or obediently carry out the orders. Viewpoint is 3-D first person--and while I don't normally care for 3-D, the artists have been inspired! They shaped the flavor and texture of the world by playing on the planes of the 3-D images. The player is presented with a great deal of leeway to do things the way s/he desires. Tomes of history, philosophy, theology (even riddles) are available in-game to aid the player in understanding the world and its peoples. Tools are available to try out a bit of creating yourself. This is definitely not just a hack'n'slash; a great deal of thought was put into this world and you can get out of it as much as you want to put in.

Summary: One of the best games ever!
Review: I don't think I've ever played such a detailed, intense game. I'm pretty sure I've put in atleast 300 hours playing this game. Now the only downside I found was when I brought up the screen for the map, sometimes it froze. So make sure you save often. This game is great!! You can interact with all the characters and pretty much go where ever you want. I really don't know what else to say about this game except that it's probably one of the best I've ever played.

Summary: Tribunal is cool!
Review: I got Morrowind one day, than my girlfriend got it too! And we both loved it! And then I moved and lost my paper journal that helped me keep track of quest so stopped playing.

Then my girlfriend got Tribunal, Then I got it! And now I cant stop playing it. It's a great game and a great expansion. The stories are interesting. The items are neat, the new dungeons while at first are boring sewers:P change and eventually are cool places with dynamic stuff going on.

The journal is the number 1 new thing for me. NOw i can play without getting all mixed up! Morrowind is good, but with Tribunal it is much much better, Get it I say. Good bye. :)

Summary: A Perfect Expansion for a Perfect Game
Review: I haven't gotten too far in Morrowind's expansion pack, Tribunal, yet - I don't even think I have played a whole hour yet - but already I have played matchmaker for 2 lonely souls, partaken in a play, and purchased a pack rat - literally, a rat who will carry 100 pounds of my loot. This expansion pack has exceeded all of my expectations, and I've barely played it! If you are a fan of Morrowind, this expansion pack is a MUST-have. It still has the same old bugs (be careful while jumping, because you may fall through the ground....again) but the journal (its unorganization made most people crazy) is a little easier to handle, with an added "quest" list to make tracking your progress a little easier. New weapons, new armor, new people, new places to explore - the expansion has it all. You will not be disappointed.
