Rating: Summary: This is fun to play and i wish they'd make a sequel Review: This game, Vampire: The Masquerade Redemption, is one of the most excellent role playing games i have ever owned. I recommend it to anyone who loves vampires and other gothic subjects. The game really sucks you in, i've played the full game three times and will play it again. One downside is sometimes the dialogue can drag on a bit and seem a bit overwritten, but it doesn't take too much away from this great game thats best to play late at night. Have fun if u buy it!...
Rating: Summary: could have been better Review: This game could have been so much better if they'd spent a little more time getting the bugs out. I am a white wolf junkie so I love the game on principle but it was too "hack & slah" to be a good rpg. There needed to be more plot developement.
Rating: Summary: Art thou prepared to face thine destiny? Review: As you see, one can write ever so many good things about this beauty of a RPG/Adv. game, yet i will keep this simple....There is only one drawback when it comes to this game... you'll almost fear the sunlight after entering the role of the Vampire. This game is simply stunning, both gfx and gameplay wise, the plot enthralls you and will keep you by your screen for hours and days. This game defently shatters the Diablo monopoly on 3rd person RPG/Adv.... By far the best I've ever played Are thy still in my presence.. heck run and check if the game arrived in the mail!!!
Rating: Summary: A nearly complete beauty Review: Detailed in every way, this game will steal your breath with intricate graphics, heart-wrenching storylines, realistic sounds and music worthy of it's own seperate soundtrack. (Thankfully, the songs are easily grabbed... mp3 format!) Though the single player game is highly frustrating with respect to controlling other party members, multi-player with a good story-teller is both absorbing and flexible. Entire campaigns come to life with endless options in a world filled with the perfect gothic ambience. Get your D&D group together for this one...
Rating: Summary: Vampires rule. Review: Vampire the The Masquerade Redemption is a stuning graphical and musical representation of a dark world. The story and character creation is fun to do because of the different magical blood powers you can develop over time. I like the game better in the old world than the new world because I prefer the sword fighting to any modern wepon I have found. The story line is linear and as much as I have tried most of the plot points are unchangeable; however, the sound and graphics alone are reason enough to buy the game. Plus Vampires and the gothic world of dark depravity are a blast to explore. This game is a game I would buy again, so I would recommend it to any gamer who enjoys dark story lines, interesting music, and appreciates great animated gaming.
Rating: Summary: Crusade for the Truth Review: My husband and I really enjoy this game, I would really give it a 4 1/2 star rating. I enjoy everything about the game exceot for the attack form. Instead of a systematic plan of attack, it just seems like a free for all, or a cluster .... Other than that I would recommend this game to anybody who enjoys feeling a little goosepimply when they are playing, because they are not quite sure just what lies around the next corner in the game.
Rating: Summary: THIS GAME IS TERRIBLE! Review: THIS GAME IS HORRIBLE. THE AMOUNT OF SPACE NEEDED FOR IT IS TREMENDOUS AND A WASTE. EVEN AFTER THE FULL INSTALLATION, I HAD PROBLEMS. THE GAME FREEZES UP, THE MOUSE MOVES TERRIBLY, EVERYTHING STAYS AFTER IT SHOULD HAVE LEFT SO YOU HAVE LAYERS OF STUFF. EVERYTHING GOES SLOW. THIS IS GOING RIGHT BACK TO THE STORE. DONT BUY UNLESS YOU HAVE ONE AMAZING COMPUTER THAT MIGHT ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO HANDLE THIS. I JUST COMPLETELY UPDATED MINE WITH TOP OF THE LINE STUFF A FEW MONTHS BACK AND IT STILL DIDNT WORK.
Rating: Summary: Don't Waste Your Money Review: This has to be one of the biggest computer game dissapointments and waste of money ever. This game does not run - I tried to install it on three different machines, two of which had graphics cards which the game claims to support. Every time, the install routine crashes. I don't care how good the hype or the potential may be if you are one of those lucky ones who have managed to get this buggy disaster to run. I was so disgusted with the product that I sent an angry letter to Activision's CEO with the product.
Rating: Summary: Heaven for everyone with a little imagination! Review: Vampire is really one of the best games there are and currently my favourite. The best part by far is the multiplayer mode: The server can play the role of the Storyteller ('bout the same as in Pen & Paper- RPGs) and customize any number of locations any way he wants. Afterwards, during the game, he can direct everything that goes on: Play every character, insert new monsters/items/treasure... in short, do EVERYTHING he'd like to! With a good storyteller and the Vampire theme (one of the best there ist in all of the RPGs I know), it's frighteningly easy to play for 12 hours in one go (I know it very well...). Afterwards, the players look like vampires themselves... ;)
Rating: Summary: not the best, but worth spending some time for it Review: Awful AI, save and load problems, game interface is sometimes useless. I had expected much better from a Masquerade adaptation. The only positives are graphics and sounds, but not enough to save a boring game. Keep playing the pen and paper, and unless you are a world of darkness fanatic, spend your money for a better game!
