Summary: Not bad, but WW fans beware.
Review: The other reviews sing the praises of this game enough. And I'm forced to agree with most. The graphics are great and the storyline will please most hardcore Vampire fans, or RPG fans alike.

My main problem was with the fact that White Wolf canon was tossed out the window for this game. My biggest desire for this game was being that it was Vampire, but it only loosly stuck to World of Darkness canon. It was more of a story driven, vampire fighting game instead of the deep intrigue and layers of manipulation V:tM fans look for. Actually, it would have been better as a Werewolf: the Apocalypse game then Vampire due to the heavy fighting involved.

Vampires can drink from one another at will without fear of bonding, they can walk around during the day (not in sunlight, though), Disciplines are far more hassle then they're worth (though there are a lot you'll use very, very few), and the Sabbat are laughable (where are the Lasombra? and what's up with all those Sabbat Ventrue?).

I enjoyed the game a great deal for what it was worth. A beautiful, enjoyable RPG that had enough WW influence to keep me satisfied. As soon as you get over the poor representation of WW canon you'll enjoy it. I just wish they could have at least made the Sabbat more....Sabbat.

Summary: Warning ALL MAC users
Review: I waited a long time for the release of this game to Mac platform. Unfortunetly for me I could have waited forever and not had the damage caused by this game.
It not only destroyed my hard drive, the game was not worth the price I had to pay to fix the damage caused by the game.
I took my machine to a licensed Macintosh dealer to have it repaired, the main cause of the damage was this game according to MAC.
Save yourself the trouble, wait for company to fix whatever causes the hard drive to crash and burn.

Summary: Really liked it!
Review: This game follows the adventures of Christoff, a former crusader, turned vampire. While I played this game over a year ago, it's definitely a keeper. The graphics are beautiful, and the music was awesome and really conveyed the sense of tragedy and mysterious beauty of the vampire world. While some 'levels' in this game, were quite repetitive, the characters and character development made me want to continue. I particularly liked Christoff's sidekicks! I sincerely hope for a sequel!

Summary: A Great Thriller!!
Review: This game is one of the good thriller's i've ever come across. It's a cooooool game with a good storyline but once the story ends the games over. I didn't feel like playing it more than once.
About the problem people are having with the save game feature -all they have to do is press the "Esc" button on their keyboard and a box will appear asking them whether they wanna save their game or quit. So whenever u wanna save your game during game play at given time hit "Esc" on the keyboard and save your game, as soon as u do that u can continue with your game immediately. I didn't need to download any patches for the save game feature.
This game is a good buy. For those who haven't, try it.

Summary: Great Game
Review: I liked the game very much. Graphics are exciting. Sounds are true to life. The game plays well.

I didn't like waiting for all the saves though. I didn't particularly like the way the game ended.

I hope they come out with an add-on or a part two.

The game is fun and a must have for every Vampire Fan.

I got this game as a bundle software package when I purchased my computer, it came with no manual so playing the game was difficult at first but after two weeks I finnished it.

It was a little harder than I had anticipated though.

Summary: Fun game
Review: This is 1 of those rare games that is fun....but at the same time it [isn't good]...I myself, do not have this game but a friend of mine does and he plays it 24/7....i cant realy find anything i like in it accept finding downloads off websites...then playing with the new downloads for about 5 miniuts....then turning the game off....however muti-player is a blast and is probly the coolest part of the game...1 player is ok...you start out as a crusaider type dude in medevil ages....get bitten by a vampire...then all the sudden your in modern times. (which is kinda cool cause u can have midevil weapons and modern weapons) Another cool part in this game is all the different weapons you can get...Swords,Axes,Maces,Baseball bats,Shotguns,Machine guns,Chaninsaws, and just about any other weapon you can think of... Over all this game will keep you busy for about 2 weeks be4 it starts collecting dust next to "Age of Empires" and "The Sims"

Summary: Vampire Redemption is a must own RPG!
Review: Vampire Redemption is an excellent rpg set in White Wolf's World of Darkness. GET THE PATCH! (Available at a lot of sites including Activisions). Without the patch I'd have to give it around a 3. Mainly because out of the box the game has a number of gameplay problems, the biggest is not being able to save in the game anywhere other than your haven. This is annoying and hurts the game because you constantly have to replay dungeons. With the patch you can quicksave at anytime when monsters aren't nearbye.

The games graphics are beautiful with excellent lighting effects and player models. Your characters are large and really show off the time and effort spent on them with every detail rendered. The size of many of enemies is enormous.

The story follows a Crusauder named Christof as he deals with becoming a vampire and searching for his lost love Anestka. With a few twist thrown in, including one extreme one. The story is solid but half way through I was wishing for a more complicated plot than just finding Anesca. I was impressed with how the designers incorporated the history and clan relationships from the Vamp Masquerade RPG. Although it does seem unlikely that in a city the size of say Praque their would be around a hundred Vampires.

The music is well done and changes as you move through history. Starting out as Medeival and moving into techno. The combats handled much like Diablo so you its mostly point and click repeatedly. Overall the combats fast paced and entertaining but it has its problems. Your other party members have issues with blood use. They burn their disciplines quickly and often, usually on that rat that you can kill with one hit. Also later in the game theres not really any reason to take your other party members with you through a dungeon since your such a powerhouse. The game is real time so using disciplines in the heat of battle can be difficult, hot keys are a must!

!!SPOILER!! More time should been spent balancing the disciplines Magesty is grossly overpowered at LV5. The discription says that the enemies look at you in awe and thats just what they do at LV5 is stand their in look at you while your hasted and attacking with the blood drinking sword. I hope this wasn't intended since most other Disciplines are so weak.

Overall Vampire Redemption is a must buy RPG and definately worth your time, also the price has dropped a lot so its easy on your wallet.

Summary: Very good idea, bad execution.
Review: Vampire could easily have made Game of the Year. It had it all: The best graphics for its time, excellent premise, music, and revolutionary multiplayer concept. The things that bring it down, though, are its missing in-game save feature (which is now only available through download), repetitive combat, and over-acting dialouge. Here is your basic "level" in Vampire:

A:)Get orders to eliminate area 1 of demons and retrieve item "X". B:)Go through 4 levels of a dungeoun hacking and slashing demons. C:)Retrieve item. D:)Bring item back, go through overly-lenghty dialougue. Repeat all steps again. What keeps this product from failing is the story. It is an excellent, if cliched, story. You are a warrior for God, Christoph Romuald, on a crusade against evil. When wounded, a nun in Prague takes you in and heals you. You then begin to fall in love with her. Vampire Clan Leader Ecatirina The Wise makes you a vampire because of abilities. Another story evolves, about the "War of the Clans." Some are Vampire, some are not. You must defeat the enemy clans while also finding you love, Anezka. I find that story very good. It is also coupled with some of the best graphics seen in a game. The architecture is wonderful and the lighting is first-rate. The idea of traveling through time is also executed better here than Daikatana. You first go through medievil Prague and Vienna, sleep 800 years, wake up in CyberPunk New-York and also go to futuristic London. The one thing that bothers me about this is he still talks "medievil" in the Future. All in all, I only recommend this for serious RPG fans that can stand repetitive combat, downloading a patch for the in-game save, and can also stand over-acting dialogue.
