Summary: Adds Enjoyment to an Already Addictive Game!
Review: Yeah, this (the first of the expansion packs) is definitely worth it. There are five new career paths to choose from, there is more flexibility in the furnishings, and then there's the 'extra stuff' like being abducted by aliens (you'll have to figure out for yourself how you get THAT to happen, if you haven't already), becoming invisible, and even becoming a monster! As I said in my review of THE SIMS, it just made me get re-addicted to the game. For some reason, playing THE SIMS has become a guilty pleasure for me (probably for the idea that 'you can be living your own life instead of playing a simulated one' as someone has already told me during the height of my SIMS-addiction), and THE SIMS EXPANSION: LIVIN' LARGE just adds to it! But that's okay; it's really a SIMS world, and we just live in it. ;)

Even more so than the original version of THE SIMS (which you must have in order to play this CD-ROM, in case you may have tried to get around that), your system specs need to seriously be at or above the game requirements. Preferably above; otherwise this game may be real slow-going for you. Make sure that you have at least a Pentium-III processor so that you can avoid having your computer try to catch up to the game while you're playing it. Also make sure you have a good, up-to-date sound & video card, otherwise certain characters won't load properly.

But, as long as you've got what it takes systemwise, you're off on your way to Livin' Large!! :)

Summary: ok
Review: This is the first sequel that Maxis made to The Sims, and it is an ok addon, but it's nothing to rave about. First, you don't get many new things. An item here or there, and four new jobs, but other than that nothing. So it's really only a mediocre addon.

Summary: Big fun in a little box.
Review: The Sims Livin' Large expansion pack gives you many new object to interact with. New additions such as the cleaning robot make your Sim's life that much more opulant. If you're looking for more fun things for your Sims to interact with, i suggest you try the House Party expansion instead.

Summary: ouch
Review: I have all the sims games so far(including hot date) and this one hit an alltime low. many people thought that this game was better than house party but what they did not consider is the truth. This game was deffinitly better than house party if it had WORKED!!! This game made lots of problems for many people. My version did not even work until house party was instaled. this is the only expantion pack that caused so many problems for people. So if you really want to buy this game make sure that you keep the box and every thing because you have a 50-50 chance of this game not working

Summary: Nothing new.
Review: This expansion was a disappointment. All it really did was add a few items, nothing more nothing less. Its fun for about 10 days then its pretty boring after that, incredibly repetitious and doesn't add much. Now maybe if there was a value pack that had both Living Large and House party then that would be different, or if House Party and Living Large were combined into one game. That would add a lot more.

Summary: Livin Larger
Review: This was the better of the two expansions (livin large and house party). This not only updates your current version of sims it adds tons of new skins, objects (including the love bed), and even a robot. This is a great way to update the boring old sims to a new excinig one. Also works great to get HOT DATE with this too.

Summary: A great expansion pack....
Review: This is the first expansion pack of The Sims, and it's very good. This is a humor pack with main highlights of.....
Love Bed=Sex Chem. Set=Good Mood, love, Freistein! Ele. guitar=cool sound, cool music, with love, future, mad sciencest, and church style, you almost can't lose! I like future style because there is a robot that does everything for you! Cooks, Mech., Garnener, and Maid! He is really cool. With 125 objects, some more skins, 2 doors that open auto. , make anyone love you with love potion, better stove and reg. , and more neighborhood's makes Livin' Large (Livin' it up) Great, it's worth the 30 dollers. Graphics, same as The Sims with all the opoints like The Sims:10/10 Fun, it is very fun with expansion pack:9.5/10 Gameplay, it's even longer with more neighorhoods! :9/10 Sound is the same as The Sims:9/10 and overall, it's great with Livin' Large, my rating is:9.5/10 which is awesome/perfect, and 5 stars goes to the cool Livin' Large!

Summary: A great ex. pack
Review: An excellent expansion pack for people who own only The Sims. It has a Very addictive playing style. The only thing that slightly disappointed me about this game is that it really us not much different from the original. I say if you want, make a jump from the original to House Party.

Summary: only for Windows 95/98
Review: I am extremeley disappointed with this game because it will NOT run on Windows 2000 or higher. If you have Windows 95/98, this looks like it could be a really great game. I was really looking forward to playing it. But I spent 2 weeks dealing with techsupport at Electronic Arts and Microsoft, and can't get it to run. I wish EA would stop making their games only compatible with Win 95/98. They said it MIGHT run on XP, but I'm not about to go buy it just to play a game. Don't get any of the other expansion packs either if you have windows 2000, apparently NONE of them are compatible.
