Summary: The Sims- crazier and more addictive then ever!
Review: Every Sim expansion pack (in my eyes) is a definite must have. And this one is no different. The first in a series of three expansion packs, the Sims Livin' Large, though it doesn't have anything THAT noteworthy, is a good expansion. In fact the only expansion with more jobs (paranormal, slacker, hacker, journalist and musical career tracks). Plus there are 4 new neighborhoods, lots of new clothes for them to wear and some really cool building tools. Also I like that there are some very cool new objects with lots of new things for them to do such as hex their roommate and a genie that though he tries, has some interesting consequences when things go wrong. Plus I like that there are a lot of ways to get skills. For example, the chemistry set and the mechanical table thingy. The chemistry set is probably my favorite new object. You get logic points and you make these cool potions that depending on what you get, something happens to you (one makes someone fall in love with you, one makes you turn into a frankenstein, one puts you in a good mood, etc.). The mechanical table thingy is where you get mechanical skill points and you carve these little gnomes, and then sell them. though some complain that its only an o.k. expansion, its a definite must have because not only does it make game-play funnier and more addictive, but it also maximizes your online downloads, which is why I gave this 5 stars.

Summary: Fun except....
Review: The Sims Livin Large is fun except... Every time I start a new family everything's fine until they have a job. After they get a job and they look in the newspaper and see a better job, he/she is always too depressed to start it and quit the worser job! And they keep peeing on the floor even when I put in a toilet! They'll sleep on the floor even when they have a bed. And they are always yelling at you. But I do think it's fun to control the Sims. It's an Okay game, but it's not one that I play often.

Summary: A good expansion
Review: It's got some new stuff to put in your game; new wallpapers, beds, electronics, paintings, surfaces, lights, toilets, etc. There are some new careers and even a clown that brings sadness to your Sim. You also have a robot that can be your housemaid if you've got lots of money to spend on buying one. This is a good expansion pack if you're really really into the game. I wouldn't recommend it if you're just an occasional player, who doesn't use as much as they want for their houses.

Summary: By Far The Best Expansion Yet!
Review: Let me say that after playing this game I was amazed. I thought that The Sims was good, but this expansion makes The Sims even better. The addition of four new neighborhoods is awesome because I was beginning to run out of space. The 5 new careers are also good because they give new tracks for your sims to follow and a couple can end up making lots of money for your family. I have to say that the new objects are also very interesting because it gives my sims the luxury that they deserve. Anyone who is wondering which expansion to buy, well this is the expansion for you. I would recommend it to anyone who I know.

Summary: It does worth!
Review: I bought this expansion pack 4 months ago and I found it very funny. In this expansion pack, you can find many interesting and funny new things e.g. furniture and skin. I think it does add some interest to the game if you had felt bored with the original sims game.

Summary: Why'd EA go and do that.
Review: No question. The addition to The Sims with Livin Large is an fun game. I myself don't happen to own it but have played it at a friends. Which is what leaves me with a problem. There is a bunch of new objects, wall papers, etc., but EA had the main structure of the game laid out for them already. Charging thirty dollars for an expansion pack that only adds a bit more stuff to spice up the game is a joke. With thousands of internet sites strewn left and right with almost ten times the ammount of skins, wallpapers, and objects already done for you for FREE, it seems absurd letting EA get away with charging thirty bucks. My advice, go to TheSims.com, where there is a list of fan based sites and get the stuff there. Or, like I have done, buy HotDate. I'm still pondering why HotDate, with an entire CITY for you to wander is eleven dollars while Livin Large and House Party are thirty. That was the last damning piece of evidence for my case. Unless your either rich or an extreme diehard, save your money.

Summary: Great........
Review: This is worth the investment to upgrade The Sims, so you can more neighborhoods to play with. The add ons provide more comfort and room enhancers for your Sims.
Definitely an excellent buy.
