Summary: VERY ADDICTIVE
Review: I made the mistake of buying the Sims the first week of the school year. For the first week or so, all my free time was spent with this game. I recommend if you have something important to do, a term paper, legal work, or exam, wait until you get that done to buy the game. Then you can just dive right on in... cause you can't resist the power of the Sims. Well, I got back into reality until the expansion pack came out. It added so much to an already GREAT game. The new skins and furniture are awesome, and the new characters (the Genie who grants your wishes is my favorite) and activities (the chemistry set is great) are totally worth it. I can't wait until "House Party" is released, see what else they can think of.

Summary: Great
Review: I have the sims game also & love these games. I cant wait for house party the add on to this game that is comes out at the end of this month. I spend hours playing & downloading things for my sims off the many websites. There is a nice size book in the sims that will really help you out. But remember this is an add on you do need the sim first to play living large. I would say buy both game

Summary: Awesome improvements!
Review: I have played the original version as well as the expansion and loved them both. There are unique differences between each, however.

"Livin Large" throws in an enormous amount of new products and furniture to place at the fingertips of the sims (125 to be exact). Of course you can only appreciate this if you have experienced "The Sims" by itself. Basically, I would not recommend going out and blowing seventy dollars on both the original game and the expansion. Play the original and get a feel for the life of a sim. Then, don't hesitate to purchase "Livin Large".

This expansion offers 5 new career tracks (50 new jobs). These include slacker, journalist, paranormal, hacker and musician. Of course you can always play on one of the original careers offered in "The Sims". Also included are new characters. For example, you can purchase a robot to do the tedious jobs around the house or a genie to grant your sims' wishes. And in character creation mode, several new outfits and heads will be available. And in case your one neighborhood is feeling cramped, "Livin Large" adds three new ones. Had enough?

Be sure to check out "The Sims" and then enhance your gaming enjoyment with "Livin Large". You won't regret it.

Summary: Sims Livin' Large
Review: This is an expansion pack which adds: new characters, new outfits/skins for the sims, jobs they can have, wallpaper, objects, windows/doors, actions and building themes. The best part about it is that it gives you four additional neighborhoods (40 families). If you like the Sims, you won't be disappointed with this. One downside, however is that you may eventually get bored of the expansion pack once you've gotten your Sims all the jobs, items and outfits they can possibly have.

Summary: More Things For Your Sims...but..
Review: Well, I like that you recieve more things for your sims. But I wish that you could take a weekend off or maybe your sims could go shopping or actually leave the house and watch them interactive at work. Those are some of the things that I think they need to change. I have not played all the items yet, but I do like the fact we have more stuff to put in are house or fix up are house. Overall the new sims pack its neat and more for your sims to do. So I give it four stars. Hey, the people who made the game give are sims a break from work!

Summary: A Must-Have if You¿re a Fan of The Sims
Review: If you're a fan of The Sims - the finest and most enjoyable example of a time-waster I've ever run across - you'll want the Livin' Large expansion pack. It adds a lot of humor and variety to the game. The chemistry set and the work bench are especially useful, and the crystal ball can be used to improve your Sims personality, if you follow the hints it gives. Some of the additions are tasteful and some tacky, and some just for fun. Watch out for the Vibromatic bed, my Sims wound up with a baby and I have no idea how that happened. Er...that baby definitely wasn't planned, not by me anyway, I mean. Like every other fan I can think of a zillion things I'd like to see added to the game, and as well I agree there are some irritating aspects I'd like to see removed, so I hope Maxis comes out with more expansion packs in the future, and I'm hoping it'll be before my interest in the game wanes. We'll all just buy bigger and faster computers, right?

Summary: Sim Heaven
Review: Everyone knows the sims, the adorable characters roam the virtual house as they go about their pointless lives. The original was an extraordinary game which broke all expectations. What could be added to this masterpiece ? More....

The highlight of the extension pack has to be the vibrater bed, which allows your sims to 'play in bed.' This and other cool updates like : electric guitars, magic lamps, new costumes and five new careers, make the original game a thousand times better. If you've got bored of the sims or just want a change, then this is the perfect add-on.

Summary: A sweet game (expansion)
Review: The best game for the pc just got better. With all the things you get you can't expect to just stop playing. This game will keep you coming back for more and more.

Summary: Still lacking
Review: Theres a few things that I feel they left out. 1)No weekends, I mean come on, we'd like our sims to get some rest from all the stuff we put them through. 2) only pets you get is a gerble and fish, what about a puppy that you have to potty train and doggy doors to go with it? 3) what about a punching bag or some other form of exercise equip. 4) a car and garage 5) you can have babies turn into kids, but they don't grow up, niether do your other sims, I think it would be fun to have an old ppl's home 6) No baby sitter, poor old Betty Newbie got all stressed out and had to lose her job over the kid, and took her a week to recover. 7) wheres the keg? how are sims suppossed to party without beer. I could go on but I'll probably run out of room. Over all it's still a fun game, can get annoying at times, and the genie can really mess stuff up if your not carefull.
