Summary: This is one great game
Review: This has got to be one of the best games I have played in a long time. Sure, I don't stay up till 3:00am playing it, but I do stay on all afternoon. My Sims have done almost anything. I love the cheats, a nisesaty if u want all the cool stuff. The Grim Reaper is the BOMB man!! I saved a guy three times, and then I just let him die. The annoying thing is if you kill off all the people and move a new family in, that family will mourn for the people they didn't even know!! But a good game, very addictive.

Summary: Okay, but Kinda Weird...
Review: There are some things that I liked about this expansion pack, and then there are many things that I did not care for. I DID like being able to have the new jobs, more lots, and some of the objects. The things I did NOT like are the weird objects, wallpaper, floors, and the list goes on. I actualy ended up selling this expansion pack to one of my friends, and he kinda likes it. If you want an awsome expansion pack, then you should get House Party. House Party has some things from Livin' Large that I liked, such as the the jobs and lots. I think that Livin' Large is an expansion pack for the Sim player that likes to make weird families, but if you want normal families like I do get House Party.

Summary: GREAT...
Review: This is probablly the most addictive game that i have ever played. I reccomend this game since adults always control our lives why can't we control theirs..... well you can with this game and that is why is so great. Since there is a robot on this game that can serve food you can have a house with ALL KIDS.

I hope no I know that you yes you will love this game

Summary: Parents, be aware...
Review: If you think your under-13 year old is mature enough that you can ignore the "teen" age listing for this expansion to the SIMS family games, please think twice! I thought so, too and was I surprised!

Note: After realizing that this is probably best for kids over 30 (just half-kidding), we opted to allow our child to play with the game anyway -- the computer is in the family room (highly recommended) so whatever happens is open for family discussions, not a bad idea.

We bought this game expansion after playing with the SIMS and finding it pretty harmless -- in fact, even arguably educational as well as entertaining -- for our then 9 year old. In addition to the many positive and cool new things it offers, parents should be aware that this set includes a bed that vibrates, and under the 'right' circumstances, one SIMS will invite another to 'play' -- what they are doing is under the covers, but its pretty obvious (since they take their clothes off) that they aren't just playing checkers.

My son was upset when one of his favorite characters was burned to death in a fire, and another died as a result of interacting with a voodoo doll. He's learned to get them away from the fire and educate them about cooking, and he's opted not to play with voodoo anymore.

The restrictions are quite clear both in the reviews here and on the packaging, but for those liberal parents with bright kids, we need to make sure 1) our smart children are emotionally ready for the touches of reality within this addictive, make-believe game, and 2) we're ready to talk with them about the questions this game can prompt.

Summary: It's weird!
Review: Before this expansion pack,The Sims was a very normal game showing very normal people get robbed, lose their jobs and set the kitchen alight. Livin' Large has added the twist that The Sims never had before-now your sims can turn into zombies, monsters and even be abducted by aliens! There are three new themes for rooms, retro, castle or vegas style. The new items inlude a potions lab, genie lamp and even a robot that repairs, cleans and serves food. also, there are 5 new career paths including musician and paranormal paths. This game is a must have if you like The Sims!

Summary: They should include a free wall clock with every purchase
Review: The thing I love most about all simulated games (okay so I only have two: Rollercoaster Tycoon, and The Sims) is that to get the best graphics possible you have to use the "full screen mode". When you're in this mode it blocks out the clock in an obvious attempt to keep you totally unaware of the time. I can't tell you how many times I've sat playing late into the night telling myself I'd go to bed as soon as they were done with dinner or after they've finished their game of chess, only to realize once I finally turned it off that it was 2:00am. And to be quite honest with you, I don't think putting a clock in with the game would help anyway. This game is just too much fun. This is an amazing game and it will leave you hooked for hours on end. Which isn't such a bad thing. I got this expansion pack for my birthday and right away installed it. At the time I'd lost my interest in the original game and I didn't really care to much for the expansion either. So after I installed it I turned it on and looked around at a few of the new objects but overall I was not impressed. So I left it and didn't play for a few weeks. Then one day out of no where I figured I'd play for a few minutes. And boy let me tell you I was hooked all over again. You know the old saying about finding it interesting listening to someone read the phone book? Well that's what this game reminds me of. I never thought I could find it interesting watching a little pretend person reading a book or eating a meal but I do (I think it has something to do with the fantastic sound effects, they make yummy noises when they read a book about cooking). And I'm not even going to go into the hilarity that happens when they're making a knome or conversing with that ridiculous Genie (make sure you put a fire alarm by the genie, he's kind of an idiot). You really can't understand fully until you've played the game yourself. I'm sure I'll get tired of it again eventually but somehow I have a feeling that it will end up pulling me back in like it always does.

Summary: The Sims Livin' Large
Review: This game is one of Maxis' and EA's best. There are so many realistic situations that are experienceable in reality.

Summary: Don't commit a Crime........Buy the Expansion!!!!!!
Review: O.K.,so you like "The Sims". But there we some problems.....right??? Like not enough different types of lights, or just not enough space in the neighborhood. But this awesome expansion pack gives you 125 new objects (27 lights total....hehehe)and 4 more neiborhoods. Very Cool. This expansion also gives your sims the choise of 5 new jobs:musician, slacker, hacker, journalist, and Paranormal. Finally, this expansion pack includes more skins for more variety. In other words, just get the game.....trust me!!

Summary: Great Game!
Review: The Sims is a great game - and easy, fun way to play god. It's highly entertaining! The Livin' Large expansion pack gives you more choices for items, paints, skins, etc.

I just got House Party this last week and don't think it's as cool as Livin' Large since it's so specialized toward your Sims having Parties- which is hard to do when you are getting them jobs, etc.
