Summary: ...What more can you ask for?
Review: I like picking up box sets, even when I've already bought a few of the games. Like many people, I often give away older games only to regret not having them later.

The flavor of this boxed set is turn-based. For those of you with over-30 reflexes, carpal tunnel syndrome or children, this is a blessing. I like the ability to think while I play.

My pick of the box is PGII, a classic improvement on the original PG. This is a game where the AI occasionally makes you pay for a misstep. The units are fairly realistic and the scenarios are interesting. The replay value isn't too deep, but you do have the option of playing several campaigns from both perspectives.

Silent Hunter is a strong sub sim... with plenty of ambience. Of this group, this is the one most likely to make you forget your in the office. Play it in a small, dark room and you have a good idea how submariners feel.

SAW is for beer-and-pretzels tac gamers who loved the original XCOM and Jagged Alliance. It has a John Wayne feel, but it falls short of the lushness of JA2.

I played SPII, and my understanding is that SPIII is more of a patched version of SPII than a brave, new game...
