Rating: Summary: Hey Hey, what about Mac? Review: I got to test out the game in a store, PS version is excellent. While for some it takes very little to amuse, I have played video games for years and give this 6 stars for gameplay, graphics, and RPG style. Yes, it is like Zelda, but hey, Zelda is fantastic and so is this. My only complaint is, Hey, where's the Mac version? I have a Mac and would definately purchase the game! *Poke, Poke* Make a Mac version! Only good things will come of it!
Rating: Summary: A must have for Potter fans! Review: Even if you've never heard of Harry Potter, this game will still delight you. It is full of magic (well, duh!) and adventure, and Quidditch. I stay up all night playing again and again. A must have for Potter lovers and a must have for gamers.
Rating: Summary: Very Fun and Great Detail Review: My dad bought me this and it was great! The 3d effects and details were spectacular, and the characters looked like the people from the movie. It is kind of short, and I beat it in less than a day, but it followed the book greatly! You could even go to the classes. I think you go to about 5 or 6 of them.
Rating: Summary: Good game? Review: The question still stands as a question-mark, but I think it's gonna be really good and fun to play.
Rating: Summary: Great Fun Review: Comparing this to the book would be unfair, to say the least. It has no aims to be an adaption of any sort, and even portrays certain parts better than the recently released movie version. Though I've never been a fan of video games, I played this one out of my obsession with Harry Potter and related characters, and didn't find it disappointing at all. It has rich graphics that are vaguely (and impressively) reminiscent of the movie's actors and sets, and shows certain parts of the book flawlessly while adding and leaving out others. The dialouge and sound effects are realistic, as well as the events and activities (at least, realistic in a Harry Potter sense, of course). Though it can become repetitive, and rather annoying at times (especially when you're stuck on a level for hours at a time with no option to save at will), it's a time-consuming and enjoyable game for kids and teens alike. It's a Hogwarts adventure well-worth the time and money, and displays the book without ruining or retelling it.
Rating: Summary: This Harry Potter Game Rocks!!! Review: I was patiently waiting for a Harry Potter game to be released, when I got this game for my birthday. I was hooked as soon as I started playing. The graphics are good, and I noticed that this game is largely based on the movie. Having seen the movie, I think the characters in the game look just like the people in the movie. I really enjoyed this game because it made me feel like I was really at Hogwarts rather than just playing on my computer. This game is fun for the whole family!
Rating: Summary: It's GREAT! Review: After spending ton's to find a game that actually excites my granddaughter I am now a 5 star GRANDMA!
Rating: Summary: Not that great for such a great character Review: I was really hoping that this game would be a lot more involved than it is. It doesn't do justice to a story that's so rich and detailed. You cannot save your games except at the end of levels. This is especially annoying because you have to do levels over and over and over and over again until you finish them, making game play unfun and kind of boring. And there's some really difficult if not impossible levels. The spell system is fun. But this game is essentially Tomb Raider without the cool moves.
Rating: Summary: Help!!! Review: One. Do not buy this game in a store. Buy it online. I paid (more money) for it in a store. Second. So far the game is fun but now I am stuck in the forest part. But I think once I get past that it will continue to be fun.
Rating: Summary: A Magical Boy Review: A Magical Boy Harry Potter is an interesting book. It is about a boy named Harry Potter. When he was a baby his parents died. Harry is very famous. In the book Harry meets a guy named Hagred. He also meets a boy named Ron. Once you get there they split you in to groups. Do you know what Harry has? I liked this book because it is very exciting. I recommend this book to people that are very good readers.
