Review: alright, first of all, what is with the reviewers so far? a 9 year old gamer!!! or what not, first of all, i have read the hp books. they were alright... a little far fetched. NOW, i must say, to that one review that said No violence and stuff about d2x, that this game is way too childish. EA stick with sports, seriously. what a coincidence, once the book was PRAISED from keeping us from our tvs. and computers, well now its bringing us back, coincidence? i think not. If you like games and what not, get diablo2, or daoc3, or HALO, seriously lose this "money making" boring merchandise made JUST because they know you'll buy it if you like hp. DONT BUY THIS

Review: This is just a great game. Simple, clean graphics. Good adherence to the book, and cohesive with the film. Not that any of that matters too much, but it does help. If you are a Potter fan, you'll likely enjoy this game very much.Cheers!

Review: The game is buggy. I encountered poor sound on all systems I tried it on. Can't bypass the opening screens. Slow loading. All games have issues, but these seem worse than normal. EA could have done much better. May not run on some systems at all.

First graphics are no better than gameboy, second, there is almost no gameplay 2 levles there are so easy, i didnt know anything about harry potter and i beat the game in 30 minutes. Review: This is a good game. It sticks to the plot of Harry Potter very well. True they changed small things, but they had to do that in order for it not to be boring. You talk to all sorts of people! Ron, Hermione, Dumbledor, I can't name them all. You collect Berrtie Botts Every Flavor Beans for fred anf George, you can get Chocolate frogs, wizard cards and all sorts of good stuff! You battle Peeves and avoid Mrs. Norris in the library! You can go to class, play Quidditch, see Hagrid. You have lots to do and it moves quickley (but not too quick for slow computer users!) What I liked:
I like how you can walk around Hogwarts and talk to random people and they talk back! I like the way when your done with the game you can still go back and improove. There is also a choice to enter a quidditch turnament and broom practis so you wont get tired of the game for quite a while. The people in the game are nice and and fun to talk to and the classes are really fun! (you even get graded!!!) This game makes you really feel like you are at hogwarts because it has exallant graphics. What I didn't like:
Not much! Once and a while the story line kicks in and than you can't go back and get something if you missed it but thats a small complaint! And it would be fun to be able to go into Diagon Ally and shop around, but over all the game was fun and easy to spend hours on! Oh! The object of the game is to rescue the Sorrcer's Stone, and they explain enough that I think that this game would be fun for non-Harry Potter readers too.

Review: I am a fan of all Harry Potter things, so basically I will buy this game. From what I've read from other reviews and information from this game you will basically be a "wizard/witch in training". This game is for all kids who want to be Harry Potter!
In conclusion this game is the best thing from the Harry Potter merchandise (beside the books) you can buy!

Review: I have only seen a bit of the game we bought for my son. The graphics are subpar and you can only control the characters using the keyboard or mouse, not a game controller. I expected better gameplay from the folks who bring us the NFL, NBA, and NHL games.

Summary: Fun for Potter Fans!
Review: Speaking as a fan of Harry Potter, this game is tremendous fun! The graphics are well done, and the level of immersiveness is great. As an experienced gamer, the game is pretty easy, but that's okay with me. It's lots of fun to play this game! The controls are a little frustrating, and surprisingly, you do not have as much control over this as you might think (the game is based on the Unreal graphics/game engine, which provides extensive control customization already - why take it away???).
