Summary: Fun Game, But Check Min. Requirements
Review: My son got this for Christmas and was a little upset when it didn't run well on his computer -- it required a 400Mhz minimum processor. We loaded on to another computer and found that is a fun game, which requires skill and patience -- as well as a mastery of the mouse. Tnis game is sure to please any Harry Potter fan.

Summary: The Harry Potter Game on Playstation
Review: It's a good game, but where are the directions to Fluffy? Fluffy is in a door, but I can't seem to find it. Can someone help me out or give me some hints?

thanx,

Summary: Finally, A Real Virtual Hogwarts!
Review: This game is AMAZING! You really fell as if you are Harry Potter. You go through all sorts of classes while learning diffrent spells, and battling a level with each of them. I liked Madame Hooch's flying lessons the best. You can almost feel the wind soaring past you! The herbology class is fun as well. The only problem with the game is that sometimes it freezes up and it screws your screen up. The sound at the beginning isn't very good either, but just playing the game is definetely worth it. It stays true to the book, and if you are a big fan of the Harry Potter books, you'll be glued to the computer for hours!

Summary: It is a shame
Review: The potential for an excellent game is obvious from the brilliance of the Potter series........but this game is so simplistic and unimaginative that it is a total failure. It appears to have been created only for the purpose of cashing in on the popularity of Harry Potter. Do yourself a favor, don't waste your money.

Summary: Good but with flaws
Review: This is a nice game, especially for those who aren't diehard gamers of the first person "shooter" genre. For those who bought Return to Castle Wolfenstein along with this game, the graphics will be somewhat disappointing. (I suspect the release of this game was rushed!) I became particularly frustrated with the jumping, but found that using the "auto jump" option solves the problem of falling into the abysses. Likewise, I'm frustrated by the fact that one must use the little books to save the game...an autosave option to be used at any time would be nice, as it is extremely annoying to have to wait through the little scene cuts before resuming play each time. Overall, though, the game is good, and the flying in particular is very entertaining. I hope, though, that they will devote more time to the next game (and one asssumes there will be a next game coming out with the next movie), as there is tremendous potential to create absolutely stupendous graphics and games with this theme.

Review: I wish I could rate this game higher but neither myself or my son can get past the Learning Spells portion of the game. No matter what we try, Quirrell just tells us that the shape is not right. We each tried for over 20 minutes and still can't get it. Anyone with any advice, please let us know.

I found it very frustrating that the information enclosed with the software did not provide much in the way of trouble shooting. Also, online help or tips would be great. Again, maybe there is more of this type of information later in the game but we just can't get there.

For all the excitement the receipt of this game generated, the frustration has been doubled. Hopefully, we can figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Summary: Harry Potter PC game is sooo cool!
Review: The graphics are killer. So many spells to cast and so many passages, it's even more fun than the book. My Dad says that I play it too much. Every character that's in the book is in the game and they're cooler yet. You can fly, enough said!

Summary: Lots of fun to play!!.... A bit too easy.
Review: I got the Harry Potter PC game for my birthday. I played it once and got hooked onto it. It is a lot of fun to learn and use Harry's spells and to interact with lots of familiar characters. The only problem with this game is that it is not very challenging. I would be a bit happier if this game wasn't as easy. It still brings loads of fun to your computer.

Review: This is an absolutely GREAT game. The graphics are astounding, the story is wonderful and I find it impossible to find fault with it. Wonderful.

Summary: Pretty Good
Review: This game is pretty good but it can be hard if u dont look around to find the things u need to beat the level. I'm only 9 so older people might find it easier. The Weasly twins help u in the beginning to show u how to jump, find Bertie Botts every flaver beans, and how to climb. Learning spells is pretty easy all u have to do is trace the line the teacher makes. But on my computer some parts just black out. This game is pretty fun and would REALLY recommend it.
