Summary: Cute/Fun/Something to kill the time
Review: Its fun. It is also pretty easy and might be well suited for kids 10 and up. I am enjoying it for the time, but I think it wont last long until it is boring. There is only 4 worlds and few challenges. I will give it to my step kids, I think they will like it alot.

Summary: A disappointment for SIM Games
Review: My friend has this game and I have Roller Coaster Tycoon. She told me how great it was and I tried it out.There is one advantage I can think of for getting the SIM theme park, which is where you can ride the rides and walk around your park. As cool as it sounds, it still isn't all that great. Sometimes on rollercoasters you get stuck facing backwards at the other passengers. For bouncy rides the scenery just bounces up and down (not too exciting). You can't ride every ride that I kow of, which disappointed me. The graphics are O.K. Compared to Roller Coaster Tycoon, however they look like something that would be in a game for preschoolers. Like Roller Coaster Tycoon, there are a few different scenarios (actually RCT has more...) and you can not play them all without earning them (aka, beat a scenario and another one is available). Overall, I was really disappointed with this game. It is good for younger players, but if you are older and want a more complex and worth-while game, get Roller Coaster Tycoon.

Review: It was a really great game!! I like being able to ride the rides and build homoungues rollercoasters!! I spent hours on it and still do!!!

Review: This game is good but I think they could do without the ant that pops up to tell you you are going bankrupt every 5 seconds. They should let you be in the park and not always an overhead view, go in the shops, and actually stand in line for rides.

Summary: Two Thumbs Down!
Review: One word could describe this game in a nutshell...Horrible. This game is all about show, and that's about it. It has four different "worlds" that are really just clones of eachother, just differently themed. You work endlessly to earn an infamous "golden ticket"(having many people in your park) that can unlock some not-so-secret rides or unlock further worlds. There is no incentive to work further towards a golden ticket because the game is so terrible. It became monotonous after a few hours and the replay value is about $0.01 If you already bought the game, at least it was on sale! If you're looking for a good RollerCoaster/Theme Park video game, I agree with the rest of the reviewers when they say RollerCoaster Tycoon is all you need. Another setback of Sim ThemePark is that the game requires a powerful computer so it will run smoothly, RCT does not. I have an 800MhZ computer and it still won't run very well. As everyone said before, steer away from Sim ThemePark and buy RollerCoaster Tycoon, it is much better.

Summary: Fun... once you get it...
Review: When I first got this game, it was plain confusing. I had to skim through the 80 some page manual before finnaly getting it. The object of the game is to get as many people as you can into your park. If you get a lot of people or money, you win golden tickets and, after 4 golden tickets, a golden key. You need keys to enter the different theme parks. You can biuld a variety of rides, (which need to be researched by reserchers) shops, and side shows. You can hire a variety of staff too. Park Management is tuff, at first. I struggled for money. Also, the park was a pain to keep clean. I needed tons of janitors patrolling all areas of the park. But, after I got over the first "obstacle" it was all flat from there. I biult many rides and entertainment (though my park was still a bit dirty) and reached ... It is fun for those who get it and confusing for those who don't. It is a fun game and worth the money (well i thought so). It is good for people who like a challenge, and don't mind reading and understanding the manual. For those who don't have the time to flip through a manual; don't get it. I have also heard Roller Coaster Tycoon is really good... I haven't played it, but go ahead and look into that.

Review: First I would like to say that I got it for playstation and it really was not good. RollerCoaster Tycoon was so much better and I hope that none of you buy it because it was THE WORST game ever played by me ..., I would go out and buy a totally different game and I hope I convinced you too. All that [nonsense]about riding your rides, it sucks, Don't buy this game, especially if you already have rollercoaster tycoon because it will disapoint you BIG time!! Don't take your money and waste it, buy a GOOD game!!!! EXTREMELY DISAPOINTING

Review: I've owned this game for about two years now, and I don't play it any more because of it's lack of speed. If your looking for a game where you build a theme park, I'd say go with Roller Coaster Tycoon.

Summary: Go on a WILD RIDE!!
Review: SimTheme Park is really great!! It is good for people who a) like theme parks and/or b) who enjoy building and setting things up. One of the most fun things about the game is getting Golden Tickets and Keys, which is kind of difficult. It's also fun to build rollercoasters, but it can be complicated. SimTheme Park is also about managing money, (you know, "should I spend my money on training my staff members, buying hamburger shops, or building rides?") Sometimes it's hard to get your whole park under control. Every other second your Advisor is telling you, "Your park needs cleaning up," "You don't have enough security guards," "There are some spots in your park that aren't being patrolled by an entertainer," and so on. But overall the game is LOTS of fun, and can keep you occupied for hours.

Summary: Kinda' Confusing!!!
Review: In the beggining it is incredibly CONFUSING!!! It "may" get better with time and cooperation. I don't think anyone from 9-99 would ever be able to figure this game out. Although, the graphics are the best in any CD ROM I've ever seen. You can ride the rides, and see from peoples points of views. The "! Guy" that "helps you" is just AGGRIVATING!!!!!! He comes in weird outfits like Albert Einstein!!! I would strongly advise people not to buy it if you think it's going to be like the "5 star Roller Coaster Tycoon".
