Summary: Fun and addictive
Review: I discovered Sim Theme Park by my brother, and I found it very quickly fun, and just like every Sims game you start playing, and 3 hours later you're still fixing rides, hiring entertainers, and building public bathrooms...The sound is also good. You can hear kids throwing up after a bad ride :D (alright, that's maybe not the best example!!). I don't particularly use the feature that allows to go on a ride; that sort of make me sick I found out :o) Only drawback: once again the resources on my system are not high enough and the game gets really slow at some point. That's really the only bad point I can find!! :o)

Review: Wow! This game is really fun for young teens and kids too! You create your own amusement park. There are 4 fun themes to choose from. But be careful - this game is very addicting! At a good price, this is a great choice for a gift!

Review: I was very disapointed in this game. It looked like so much fun until i tried to play it. It was so confusing and frustrating. I recomend Roller coaster tycoon I&II. They are much more enjoyable.

Review: You could spend hours creating your own amusement park! It was so much fun. It helps you to see what's needed, how happy customers are and you can even ride your own ride! The first night I got it, I didn't sleep at all! Nice bright colors! Cute graphics.

THIS GAME ... The rides aren't realistic at all, and for a 10-year old it is hard to understand how to build cool rides [with loops and upside down things]unless you build one that is pre-made which is boring. It's too easy to get bankrupt, too. And there's only one way to get rid of the ant thing. It's considered a "cheat code"(ha!).My summary: THIS GAME ...

Summary: Pathetic Maxis Version of Roller Coaster Tycoon
Review: This game is one of the worst games to come from Maxis. It is incredibly boring, in part because of its limited possibilities and its bland themes. If you're going to by a game like this, go Roller Coaster Tycoon, without a doubt, it is 50x better, and 100x more realistic. I haven't tried SimCoaster yet, but I hear it's better.

Summary: Wish I had read the reviews before buying
Review: As said in the other reviews, this game does not work on Windows XP, their website is down for "essential" maintenance, and I threw the box away so I cannot return it. The game may be great on Win98, but there really really should be notice on the box that the game doesn't work on XP or at least an adequate patch available on their website. I agree that the EA has some responsibility for making their games playable on all current platforms! I'll be selling my copy if anyone wants it!

Summary: This is a sim game?
Review: SimThemePark is a 3-D simulator in which you design & build a theme park of your own. I bought this game once, but promptly returned it because it was not to my liking. The graphics are adequate, but the humor and design of people have gone too far.
I liked the sim games like simcopter,simfarm and simisle which had more seriousness and real-life situations in them, but sadly they aren't in stores anymore.I do not recommend this game for anyone.
