Summary: a very good game, but with errors
Review: I would say this game is rather good. The graphics are nice to look at, you can ride your own rides and stuff, however, i find that this game lacks the depth that one finds in Roller Coaster Tycoon. If you are having to find a choice between the 2, I reccomend you buy RCT, and it's expansion

Summary: Best Sim Game Ever!
Review: I loved the originial Theme Park so I bought this one when I heard that it was out. I was not dissapointed with it! There was more parks you could build, more challange, and it was much more fun than Theme Park. The only problems that I had with it was that if your park got too busy, the computer would sometimes crash. The other one was the the advisior is very annoying! (Before you buy this you should be sure that your computer has at least 350mhz.)

Review: I bought this game because I heard you could ride the rides and walk through your park, and I really liked RCT so I though this would be way better than it. I was wrong. This game is probably the worst game from EA. First of all, the game is to busy and complicated, meaning that they ask you you to do so many little things, for example, they ask you to make sure there are security guards there, make sure there are janitors at the bathroom, make sure there there are entertainers amusing people in the lines, and make sure there are inventors or scientists to create rides and there is so many more things I cant remember. Second of all there is this little black ball thing in the corner that is REALLY annoying and it keeps telling you to do this, do that, make sure of this, etc. You simply can not have fun and enjoy your self with this game because of all the junk you have to do to make sure your park is "perfect". Even ZDTV's Gamespot TV agrees with my thoughts.To make a long story short, I recomend Hasbro Interactive's Roller Coaster Tycoon and Expansion Pack. It is much more enjoyable and you can simply have more fun with RCT.

Summary: Get Roller Coaster Tycoon instead
Review: Ok, I'm a HUGE fan of Sim-stuff ... I can't get over how clever they are, how real they play out, how absolutely consuming they can be. This product is not one of them. It's awkward, it's punchy, and buggy. It restricts your creativity in a way that I've yet to experience in any other Sim game. You are limited to two island scenarios to begin, and they are in themes like Dinosaur, and Space Ship ... and they are VERY tiny -- not much to work with. Creative-wise, you are stuck with rides that are typical to that particular theme -- IE: your park attendees bounce up and down on a dinosaur's stomache as one of the rides. *shudder* I think the game is ideal for children 10 and under. It's fun and quirky enough to entertain them, but it's not what you'd typically expect, as an avid adult player, from a Sim game. Try Roller Coaster Tycoon if you're an adult fan of simulated amusement park game software (but even that gets a bit dull after a while -- it's easy to win and repetitive). Or try The Sims, it's quite entertaining, and very well put together.

Review: Sure, its fun its exciting, for about 5 minutes. You get bored of it fast, not to mention the fact that it crashes 4 out of 5 computers (not fact). If you want a good simFUN (my word) game get Roller-Coaster Tycoon. This game is fun for a while but it gets old quick and i say its a very dissapointing Sim game.

Review: O.k. I admit it, I could not wait to get this game! I ran to the store and bought it as soon as it came out! But I should have waited, Rollercoaster Tycoon has better graphics and the only thing you cannot do in this game is ride the coaster you build. Sim Theme Park has to be the worse game I have ever played, After the sims, and Sim City 3000 you would have expected a real looking game and even with my 4 day old computer it CRASHED MY SYSTEM ! And for the price of Sim Theme Park you can buy Rollercoaster Tycoon and the Corkscrew Follies expansion Pack! A DEFINATE DISSAPOINTMENT! SAVE YOUR MONEY. DON'T BE A FOOLISH IDIOT LIKE ME STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME! Not even a super computer can run this game at a good speed! You do not have to be a SYSCO AnD EBERT TO GIVE THIS GAME TWO THUMBS DOWN!

Summary: BUY AT YOU OWN RISK!
Review: For a few days my friend Brannon was telling me how excited he was that he was going to get SimTheme Park. When he got it, he said he took it home, and after a great while waiting for the game to install, he sat there telling everyone how excited he was. When it was done installing, he tried to play the game. It kept on saying that some error was happening. I felt sorry for him, and invited him over to try playing it on my laptop because it was new. For me it took only a few minuted to install, and when it was done, we played it. I would say we played it for a good 15 minutes due to that it was very slow, choppy, and confusing. After that, I took it off my computer, and we went back and played Roller Coaster Tycoon. I had that game for almost a year, and I play it about 3 times a week! STILL! In other words, If you have a super computer, and like confusing games, then SimTheme Park is for you. I recomend Roller Coaster Tycoon, or TheSims...

Summary: Please Don't Buy this!
Review: If you are looking for a roller coaster game, get Roller Coaster Tycoon, not this. I own both, and RCT is the only one I continue to play. First of all, you have to have a super computer to run this game. It crashed 2 computers before I found one it would work on. Even now, there are little lines all across the words in the game. Very annoying. The only thing a little great about this game is that you can ride the coasters you made, but it's really not as cool as it sounds. This game does not live up to the standards of previous Sim games at all! Now get out there and buy RCT!
