Summary: One Word: Lightsaber
Review: If you've ever wanted to slice something apart with a glowing, humming, colorful sword of destruction, get this game. The lightsaber's color can be changed, and it leaves visible scars on every surface it touches. Plus, enable a certain code (g_saberrealisticcombat 1) and you can slice off the hands, arms, heads, legs, and feet of your opponents, not to mention being able to sever them at the waist. The lightsaber, when used properly, is easily the most powerful weapon in the game. Wield it well.

Summary: Awesome
Review: This game rules in just about every aspect that I can think of except at the begining of the game and some of the puzzles in the game. In the begining of the game you do not have any force powers or your light saber. That is ok except most of the time you are solving puzzles. A little too many puzzles.
And shooting wave after wave of stormtroopers is awesome at first, but gets a little old after a while. But then long and behold your force powers and lightsaber! Well at least you get your beggining force powers. After each level you level up one of your force powers, or get a new one. My personel favorite force power is force lightning just like you see the emperor do in Return of the Jedi. Another cool force power is force speed in which your surroundings slow down in time and you still move in real time. It is quite cool and gives you the feeling of neo in the Matrix when he can move so fast and nobody can keep up with him. I have got to tell you readers that you must buy this game because it really does make you feel like a jedi in one of the star wars movies.

Summary: Get this game or you will be sorry you didn't
Review: This is the best thing since sliced bread. It has everything that a star wars fan could ask for. It had lightsabers, force powers, blasters, and powerful enemies. You have not lived until you play this game. The only 2 things that were bad about this game was that the levels were a bit tricky to figure out and the dark jedi are a bit tough to beat, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Overall, just beg your parents until they finally get it for you. Your begging will do you good.

Summary: Great Star Wars Game, if you've got the power
Review: If your a real Star Wars fan, or just want a good game, this is the one for you. I wouldn't call this a "no risk" purchase, because there are definetly gamers out there who would prefer a more "guided" game, with less twists, turns, and puzzles (like Max Payne). The puzzles definetly get annoying after a while, and you may find yourself saying..."I really don't need this break in the action to wonder around in circles." What is a puzzle? Well trying to find a secret code to unlock a door may take you 15 minutes of running around the level. Aside from that..

When there is action, its GREAT. The graphics are top notch, (running on a Geforce 3 Ti on 1024x768 resolution, everything maxed out). The sounds are right out of all the Star Wars movies, the music, the laser blasts, and the lightsaber. You'll feel like you walked into the middle of Empire Strikes Back just from the audio/visual standpoint. The levels are done in GREAT detail.

The enemy AI is a bit suspect, the Storm Troopers aren't the most aware enemies you've ever encountered in computer games, but when the do come after you it's a battle. The easiest setting is even challenging, and the hardest setting is near impossible without cheat codes, which there are available. (I don't reccomend playing with these as it will DEFINETLY shorten the game, and make it ALOT easier). I notice alot of people complaining about AI in this game as well as others, but I don't see a problem in JDK2.

The BOTTOM LINE....If your a Star Wars fan, looking for great graphics and a different FPS, go for Jedi Knight II. It's unlike any game out there, and that's what makes it worth buying. It's unique.

**I would reccomend this even more to players with higher end computers. I'm running a P4 at 2.8ghz, with 512 MBs RD Ram and a Geforce 4 Ti 4600...I also ran it on a 1.6 and a Geforce 3. Both run it on pretty high settings.

Good luck and take care.

Summary: Incredible game, more than I'd expected.
Review: Jedi knight II:Jedi outcast is way more than I expected of it fore sure! I mean, the single player gameplay when you first start a new game at what ever difficulty isn't the best and some might be disapointed, yet it gets better the farther you get in the game. The GRAPHICS:Incredible, rad, amazing, awesome! I mean, the detailed textures, the scorches and wall marks, the spectacular dynamic lights, the high gorgeous amount of polygon geometric detail, the incredible reflective shiny surfaces and mirrors, the fire, the volumetric realistic shadows,(which require superior high-end closing edge state of the art superior hardware and a very fast cpu to get a great frame per second rate when activating it)the details on the clothes, the backround scenery, everything about it has amazed me, I could just take about precisley 15 minutes to look at one texture detail if I wanted to, and its all done thanks to the quake 3-team arena engine! The sound effects, very good, very star wars. The music:the original star wars music back better than ever! The lightsaber combat is very realistic! The storyline is good and facinating, intresting, entertaining. Single Player is good, once you aquire your lightsaber and force powers your gonna have some fun, lots of fun! That I guarrantee. The combat and the lightsabers are like from Star wars episode 1, like obiwan kenobi's and qui gon jins! Single Player is great, but MultiPlayer is a whole different story, it packs every fun thing from single player and more, you could choose your character, you lightsaber color, and much more! And there are so many game types, and so many incredible maps, I mean, to be honest, I think I like multiplayer a bit more than singleplayer, I got hooked playing it online+lan for weeks! Besides the point, jedi outcast does require SUPERIOR HARDWARE SOURCES. That is a guartee, and a lot of ram, directx8 or higher, a very fast cpu, and a lot of harddrive space, and a 100% 3d accerelartor and at least opengl driver 1.1, 16mb on the 3d video card is required, 32mb typical, 64mb prefered, 128mb or higher awesome. and last but not least, tons of hardrive space. I ran it on my pentium 1.8, geforce 4 ti4600 128mbddr, 512mbramrdram, two 80gb harddrives, and sound blaster live 5.1 3d sound card, I was able to use antiliasing and maxium, detail all at maxium, everything at maxium and turned on except video sync and res at 1280x1024 and I still got a buttery smooth frame rate, 72fps. So I do reccomend good hardware, and star wars fan I high reccomend you buy this game, any non-star wars, fan...well...buy it if you want...but still at least try it out...trust me...it'll be a long time before you get bored of it!:)*
Detailed scores:
Overall:9.7% high A, very superb.
Graphics:Awesome!...Well it depends...what kinda system ya have. And it depends what you have the settings at. And it depends of your system rescoures, memory, what type, and CPU. If you have a high end system,(Y'no geforce 3, 2.0ghz, 512mbram, soundblaster 5.1...etc) You can crank up your res to 1280x1024 all details and color deptsh at maxium, sound quality as maxiumum, slow motion depth exccessivley, and asotropic filtering and volumetric shadows+2xantiliasing, and you'd still get a descent and higher framrate, if you have a mid system(pentium3 700mhrz...pentium3...geforce 2 mx...256mbram...sound blaster live!....etc)You probaly can crank the res to 800x600 and all detail high, 32bit depths, simple shadows...not antiliasing...asotropicfiltering...soundqualityhigh.You'd get a descent and higher framrate doing that...although it won't look as good...still its the best performance and looks you'll get out of it.Now for the low entry range system(Y'no pentium 2 450mhrz...petium2...128mbram...Riva'sTnt2videocard...Sound Blaster....etc)You'd probaly can crank your settings to 640x480 res...all detail medium...all depths 16-bit...sound quality high...asotropic filtering off...noantiliasing...shadows simple)It wont run so good...I mean probaly 22-30fps.Not that good, but a bit over playable! Now for the cutting edge dream system(2.53ghz pentium4...geforce4ti4600...1ghzmbram...sound blaster audigidgy 5.1...etc)You'd be able to crank the res to 1600x1200 all detail and depths at maxium, all more video settings execpt video sync on and maxium...4xantiliasing...soundquality high and eax on, and you'd still get a buttery smooth framrate!
Sound:Very good...very clear...very pratical...for high edge sysetem keep sound quality high eax off...for mid range system smae...for low entry system sound quality low and eax off...and for cutting edge system eax on sound quality high.
GamePlay:THE BEST WITHIN ANY STAR WARS GAME!Been hooked on it ...!
Storyline:Good....enteraing....Does get boring..until...NO I wont ruin it....!
Keboard Control:Comfotable...to me...whatever suits your taste!
Music:Good, sounds digitally remastered from the original star wars music in the original movies...sounds great and is quite worth it!
Graphics:100%Ultra Superb, perfect 10!
Sound:8.9% Excellent scores a 8
GamePlay:9.9%Scores a perfect 9!
StoryLine:7.6Scores a high 7
KeboardControl:It depends....but for me:8.5 med 8
Music:8.4 scores a low 8...good...but not too good...still good!
That is it for my review...hey its' just a opininon....try it star wars fans for your self, and see how you like it...may the force be with you!*:)

Summary: Thank you LucasArts
Review: Jumping 30 feet straight up I take out my enemy by throwing my lightsaber at the stormtroopers head, accomplishing this only after I had master the force.

One of the addicting features of this game is that your force abilities increase in power as the game progresses (you start out with none). There are definitely some difficult puzzles (a couple that if you miss one key component you could spend an hour trying to complete at no end). The story line is decent, but the rewards (weapons and force powers) are the reason I could not stop playing.

There is an automatic defense against blaster fire and other evil Jedi when you're wielding the lightsabar, that is real handy during a multi-person attack. You will be forced to use your lightsaber when fighting Jedi that have gone to the dark side, which can be very intense fights (I found myself literally swearing at my opponent on the screen more than once). The re-playability did not rate high in my book. The graphics were exceptional, sound track was entertaining, and game play was user-friendly.

Some Star Wars purist might have a problem with some of the story line, but my hat goes off to LucasArts and Raven for make a truly gratifying game. If you go ahead and purchase this game I hope will enjoy it as much as I did.

Summary: May The Force Be With You!
Review: Easily one of the best and most enjoyable PC games I've ever played. Eye-popping graphics, stunning sound, and - even more incredible, a well-written story and characters I really cared about add up to pure gaming delight.
Yes, the game is HARD. But hey, you're a Jedi Knight, did you think they'd make it easy for you? I wound up dying quite often, and I had a strategy guide! But the magical thing is the way the high difficulty makes for a sense of accomplishment. The bad guys are tough, smart and very well armed.
As for the famous lightsaber, the battles depicted in this game make anything in Episode 1 OR 2 look like a Sunday school picnic! It may be the most powerful weapon in the game, but it takes a little thought to use it in the heat of battle without killing your allies.
All in all, JK2 is lightyears beyond what I expected. A smart, involving epic saga that would mop the floor with the two prequels if ever brought to film. Get this game!

Summary: Breath of fresh air.
Review: A must have game for any fan of not only star wars, but of first person shooters. This game has it all. Good graphics, great sound, a good story, and some of the best saber to saber fighting I have ever seen. I highly enjoyed this game and have recommended it to all of my friends. I rank it within my top 10 FPS games.

Summary: An Awesome Game
Review: This awesome game, that i bout only a couple of days ago, shows you what it is like to be a jedi. Sure enough there are cheats that will help u get force powers, a lightsaber, and god mode, but even not using them, the game still has challenging levels. The fight with Desann, in the begginning, is kind of cheezy , but over-all the game has a great plot. The only thing that slows you down is that u hav to take care of Jan Ors, and if she dies, you hav 2 start all ova again. Although i have only gotten past the first 5 or 6 levels, this is one game that i will be sure to finish and enjoy.
