Summary: The game's good but I am no action game reveiwer.
Review: The game is more action oriented and that's good, but LoD also has very good RPG elements that will attract many RPG fans. The RPG focuses more on skills and perks than it does your usual strenght dex, ect like other games. The Druid, to me, is a very fun character to play and more interesting than the necromancer or the other magic users. Shapeshift/summon is a good combo, be what follows you. The warewolf is a bit weak at the start, however. I have only briefly tried the Assasin and cannot review her in the game. Elemental magic sometimes does not work and should only be used if you like to gamble with your(character's) life. I got waisted many-a-time by the "army of the dead" in the graveyard because I couldn't target an enemy with that darned fire elemental. the Vines are excellent for that work.

Summary: Disapointing
Review: PLEASE NOTE that blizzard has effectively removed Gambling for Unique items in this expansion set. Which for most of us was the source of most entertainment in the game. As for the rest of the expansion pack: Act 5 looks fantastic, for a while any way. But takes at the most 1 day to complete and realy does not justify the [price] bones it cost. Seems alot more of the same, and you will quickly run bored with it. Spend the money on some other full featured game rather then on this last excuse to run D2. Wait for Max Payne to come out if you can.

Summary: Very cool.
Review: Sweet sweet game. The beginning story which takes place after the conclusion of Diablo II is visually impressive and sounds great. The background music is pretty nice also. As for the game play, it the same as the others. Just hackin monsters up. There are some nice upgraded functions such as you can now carry a backup weapon. You click on the 1 key above your weapon for a weapon and/or shield or 2 for your backup weapon or shield. They also have allowed more strorage space in your storage chest. Another nice function is being able to revive any of the characters you hired to help you on your quest. There are many new weapons and other items (though most of them are for the 2 new characters added to the game), so I haven't gotten to see what they can do yet. The new monsters they have added are very cool. I have only played through the first 3 quests so far, but I haven't seen the same monster yet. There are only 2 things I didn't like about this game so far. 1 was the price. It is a little steep for an expansion pack that has only 1 added chapter, and 2 was how easy it has been so far. I have beaten the first 3 quests in less than 5 hours and until the end of the last quest, I wasn't in any real danger of dying (this was with a level 36 Barbarian). Other than those 2 things, this game has been alot of fun. And don't worry about everyone saying there is no story or the music is repetitious in every Diablo game released. They keep buying and so should you because it is just fun. Enjoy.

Summary: Playable
Review: This was too cool. I love having new quests to this epic game of riding evil from a world. Sinlge player is well done, 1.0, wasnt that buggy. The hefty system requirments is the only reason why it lost one star. I highly recommend you have at 3d video card, a lot of ram, and a fast Intel chip set! Battle Net makes this game even more fun.

Summary: Great expansion for a great game
Review: I was a big fan of Diablo, so after a long while I bought Diablo II. The sequel was much more fun than the original, and I especially liked playing as the necromancer. When I first heard that Blizzard was making an expansion, I was skeptical. The game seemed fine, and new classes are usually kinda hokey anyway (at least hokey enough to not be worth [price]). "What else could they add to the game?" I thought. To my surprise, the expansion made many useful improvements to the game. You can now quickly switch between two weapon/shield combinations, which made it worth it for me to use a bow. The new classes, to my surprise, are really fun. Honestly, I haven't actually even tried the assassin class - I'm still very busy with the druid. The druid is by far my very favorite class, with the necromancer coming in a distant second. The expansion also adds a new act to the story, class-specific items, an expanded storage area, and more changes in addition to these. This expansion is well-worth the [price] I paid for it. If you like Diablo II, do yourself a big favor and try the expansion - it's just more of a good thing. If you didn't like Diablo II much, try the expansion - it's like playing a whole new game.

Summary: Worth the wait
Review: Most of the new features are minor but do add up. Since D2 was all about killing the minions of evil and finding new and powerful things, the expansion does more of that better. There are new items to find, new ways to customize items and many things have gotten a boost. Such as how worthless socketed items were. Now when you collect the right runes in the right order you can make a powerful unquie out of a socketed item. In ways like this it makes the gameplay fresher and more interesting. Even with new features and imporved old ones, it still plays the same. This is good if you liked the basic concept to start with, but while it's lack of complexity makes it enjoyable, it would be nicer if there were more to it.

Summary: An extremely great expansion pack
Review: This expansion pack is excellent. The 2 new character classes (Assassin and Druid) are great, and the improvements to the original classes and other elements of the game are mostly good, some of them are kinda annoying (some unique monsters being immune to physical damage). But other than that, I highly recommend this pack to any Diablo 2 player.

Summary: A Less tedious play
Review: The new features allow more rapid level progress, and a better equipped stronger main character. Plus the warrior companion becomes very useful in the expansion version, and the Repair All and rapid potion and scroll purchases cut wayyy down on all those tedious repetitive clicks. The last act is fun. Highly recommended to people who enjoyed Diablo II.

Summary: AWESOME GAME!!!... SLOW[!!!]...
Review: Diablo 2 is one of my favorite games, if not my favorite. I bought the expansion pack and i love it. The characters : awesome, the last quest and 2 new cinemas: awesom, new abilitys: awesome. Thers only 1 small problem. ITS SLOW[!]... I have a brand new PC and its still slow

Summary: 2 new characters with good and bad flaws. The game ROCKS!
Review: I thought DIABLO was hard in act 4 of Diablo II. Well, act 5 is worse! Now all the quests were pretty easy until the last. That quest kept changing. Each time I reached the quest goal, instead of showing it completed, it just changed the quest. So the last quest was really several goals long, each harder than the last! I loved it! I have been experimenting with the 2 new characters too. The Druid has some awesome powers. However, if I changed into the bear, I found that even though the bear does more damage, he is EXTREMELY SLOW! The wolf is FAST and attacking quicker puts more hits on the enemy, so there is more damage done with more attacks, but the same amount of time. And I don't have the patience to lumber around. I like to be agile and killing demons. The Assassin is my favorite! She has the most AWESOME skills and her finishing moves rock! By level one or two, she can summon a blade that spins between her and the enemy, hitting them several times and almost always killing them in the first blow, while I can attack other demons with claws that would make Wolverine envious! She also has a skill so that with each hit to an enemy she gets a glow flowing around her. Once she has 3 going around her the assassine can channel it to hit an enemy. The skills get MORE AWESOME as she increases in levels! The end bad guy, Bael (sorry if I spelled that wrong), is even harder than Diablo! Super fast and minions out the ying-yang! This game is the best I've played yet! Highly recommended. Rated M for gore and violence though.
