Review: That guy from texas who gave it three stars is an [...]. He is mad about the 1.08 patch because its unfair to people who don't have the expansion and i can kind of see his point. But he needs to realize that he will not be happy either way. If he had the expansion he would complain about how all the monsters are to easy and the game is no longer fun. So i think Blizzard was right to make that patch. But anyway, Lord of destruction is a big improvement over the first for a couple of reasons. One being the options you have for your mercenary helper guy/girl. in the original you coudn't do anything and it wasn't worth it. But now thanks to the Expansion you can heal, give weapons and armor, even resurrect your helper which I think is great! The second good thing over the oringinal is, jewels and runes. They are great! They help so much and give alot of cool new magic to your socketed items. Last and not least is the new characters. Some argue that the price is to much for just two more characters and one more act and i admit the the last act did kind of [stink], except for baal (final boss). but i have come to love the assasain to much to go back to regular old necromancer, trust me i've tried. as for the druid i like him a great deal too! His spells are top notch. So if you want to stay in the past and not do anything with your life and your money (like texas boy)then please don't buy the expansion and don't complain about it either. But if you like the oringinal and think your missing something in your life then go out and buy this game. better to spend it on this then on a dumb game like desperados which turned out to really, really [stink].

Summary: A truly essential expansion!
Review: Lord of Destruction takes a great game and improves virtually everything about it, without taking away anything that made it a great game in the first place. Once you install the Expansion, there's no reason whatsoever to play the old game. The two new classes bring new skills to the game without replacing any of the old classes. The new fifth act is certainly the most creative of them, really giving you the feeling of being in a war zone. Add in the thousands of new items to find, and this game will NEVER play the same way twice, even with the same class.

Review: Warning do not buy this game if you have anything important to do. I have spent many hours getting my Barbarian to the Ancient Ways but I am afraid to continue the journey tonight because I have to work in the morning.

Summary: Better than you will ever imagin!
Review: When i saw there was a expansion coming out for diablo 2 and even though ive been adicted to diablo since the original was made and i got the second diablo,i didnt really think i would get the expansion cause i thought i had enough in my origina diablo 2 but since i started playing Mech Warrior series i though about getting a good nice fancy joy stick which was recomended and i saw it was ($) and i saw the expansion for ($) and i thought ill get that instead of spending that much on a joy stick........... When i installed diablo 2 expansion it got boring the first 2 minuets and the next day i came back to see if my friend from the internet was still playing diablo i was lucky i bought the expansion cause he was on it...so i made contact with him and played it for like 30 minuets and i started to get adicted i was TERRIBLY WRONG!!The expansion is SO much better than the diablo 2 even with only 2 new characters but all the new items and skills and monsters and the new act 5 make this game rock!!! AND somthing VERY cool is the stash has TRIPPLED IN SIZE!! If you think ya got it all in Diablo 2 then you are very very wrong... This game IS DA BOMB AND IT IS A MUST BUY!!

Summary: Great, but expensive
Review: The expansion for first Diablo, Hellraiser, was a disaster. New environments were boring and new character was dull. Well, for the expansion of Diablo 2, Blizzard took his own time and made a fantastic thing - both new characters , druid and assasin, are great to play and very balanced. New, Fifth act, is long and interesting with great quests and rewards (you can name your favourite weapon!). There are some new monsters and weapons, just enough not to get too confused with what to use. Every character has his own piece of equipment that only he/she can use: barbarian and druid have special helmets, palladin has special shields, soceress has her little sticks... :) Now, bad thing about expansion is that it upgrades your game to version 1.07, because most of us battle net players already has version 1.08. The second thing is price: normal expansions cost around 20 - 25 bucks, but LOD costs 40 (or, in best case, 35 dollars)! That is of course just a "gimmemoney" nature of Blizzard, who knows very well that this product is going to be a megahit no matter what. But still, It would be nice to drop a price jsut a little bit. Ah, dreams...

Summary: The Best Game of all time
Review: To all of you Diablo/Diablo II fans (Especially those of you who play on Battle.net). This is definately something that you'll love. Now I DEFINATELY recommend you to buy this game. I'm spending my time writing this review when I can be playing Diablo II: Lords of Destruction to try and convince you to buy it. It has a whole bunch of new goodies to enjoy. Two new character classes, a whole new act, new bosses, monsters, items, horadric cube recipes...i could go on forever! What more could you ask for. I've always put my trust in Blizzard to make a damn good game. Every single one that they have made i've been hooked on! Don't think, just get it!

Review: This is the expansion of game that privide a lot of new features that shows how hard the producing teams has improved. The overall is good, but should add more scenes or acts in the original set. The adding scene is good. With two new characters, the game is much more fun.

Review: I think that this is better than the old one. but the only reason i like this one is because the old one was great. i think that there should be more to it than just killing and that but its still really fun. i think that blizzard should have made more new things. like more relms or worlds. but its not worth buying it if u like d2

Review: You will have more fun with new chrs and a new act.The Druid can summon animals and change into a bear or wolf and he can use elements.The assasin has karte,summon decoys,or traps.It also has new items.All this makes Diablo 2 more fun.
