Summary: My Thinking
Review: When I bought The Sims Vacation I didn't enjoy it very much. And when I saw this one, I almost knew it would be worse. But, I decided to buy it anyway... hey, what's there to lose other than money? Then when I began to play it I became intrested and also I had quite a bit of fun with it. Overall, I would reccomed this game, but the only problem is that when you buy a pet, you can't controll it... in other words the pets have a mind of their own.

Summary: Always a great addition
Review: What can one say about another expansion for The Sims? The resources that Maxis has devoted to their hottest-selling game has been fruitful, with some excellent results and a continuing customer base. I admit that they could have focused a bit more on general things to go along with the new pets, and general furniture/items as well, but all in all, Unleashed is a great feature to keep The Sims in business, with new things that everyone can appreciate.

Summary: Best Expansion Pack Yet
Review: This is the best expansion pack yet, with much more than just new skins and pets...now the Sims world really starts to take shape--go shopping, take your pet out to the park, create a real neighborhood, not just a group of houses!

This expansion pack is worth every penny and I am looking forward to many hours of designing and zoning. Now, to get the world expanded even more--take Unleashed and blend it into SimCity and boom--the SimWorld will be at our fingertips!

Summary: Brought back the fun
Review: I had gotten bored with The Sims. Having all the expansion packs I still didn't find anything that would keep me hooked on the game, until Unleashed came out. I have been busy trying to maintain a garden (almost a full time job for one sim), advance in my job and keep social points up. The best is having a pet. So far I only have experience with the cats (only because they don't have ferrets) but love being able to have a pet. I have run into some bugs though, and after removing the game and all E.P.'s and reinstalling all is well. I had already had to start over a few months ago during a reformat of my hard drive, so did not lose much progress in the way of households. I realize now that part of what I thought were bugs, were actually just me trying to use some things (gardening) wrong. I am enjoying the game a lot and look forward to many hours with it. Looking forward to The Sims Online, but already being a member of a wonderful virtual community (VZones) online I will reserve comments until I actually see The Sims Online.

Summary: Good but buggy....
Review: I really like a lot of the ideas in this expansion pack, but it has some major bugs that make the game harder to play. My least favorite bug was once I bought a cat, I could no longer sit and watch television at the same time! This really makes keeping fun and comfort ratings up very difficult. I wish Maxis would come out with a patch for this. I also have a bug where the maid will clean the shower for about eight hours straight, keeping my sims from being able to use it!

Summary: Fun But ...........
Review: Many a moons ago I was a Sim junkie but it's time to let the Sims take a ride into the Sunset.Nothing has really changed only your child now has four legs and makes poop piles on your floor.Anymore expansions they should throw a new system in with it.No problems running on Windows 98 just the normal sim bugs.If you love your Sims then buy it and get the book.

Summary: in the doghouse
Review: i am a sims addict - i did not like vacation, but the idea of unleashed sounded so great. pets, an old town shopping area.. but when i got the game home and installed it.... i got so annoyed with it, i boxed it back up and returned it.

let me first start off by saying that i have a brand new alienware system, probably the best gaming system on the market right now (it cost an arm and a leg but is totally worth it) anyways, i installed unleashed and the first thing i noticed was a flickering. at first it didn't bother me, but then my system started to chunk up a little bit. i ignored it and played the game.

i found it very annoying that dogs would randomly come into your house (dogs can open doors???) all the time. i also did not like how there was only one neighborhood instead of 5 on all the other expansion packs!

some of the new objects were cool... but the flickering really bugged me. i was told in a sims forum that most peope have the flickering problem, but they just ignore it...

i took it back and got no one lives forever 2 instead which is AMAZING!

sorry sims....... unleashed and vacation were such a letdown :(

Summary: Get This Game, and never see your real family again.
Review: In my opinion, this is the best expansion pack yet (I have all 5). Although I have read some complaints here about running this game on Win 98, I haven't had ANY problems running it on 98. If your computer is a mess, no game will run well... I would advise some folks to clean up their computers, including defragging, before blaming their computer problems on this game.
The addition of community lots to the game is really neat ... a great deal of complexity has been added with this expansion pack, especially for longtime players. Some of my oldest families had run out of new things to do, but raising pets is very challenging, and forces the player to really focus on the game. The gardening aspect is fun too, as is training your pets to help with various household activities. Hours of fun.

Summary: Wa Hoo! The Sims Rock!
Review: This game has to be a milestone in my life. With the last expasion pack....it makes the game even better. I own all the E.P. and they get better and better every time.. This game is so addicting. It's definately worth it to get 'em all.

Summary: How Unleashed Changed My Life...
Review: This is an excellent game. I bought it immediately, once I heard about it coming out. As far as the expansion packs go (and I've got each of them) this is probably the best. It includes many of the same accesories as Livin' Large, i.e. expanded neighborhood, new career tracks, etc., but this is slightly different. It's a great game: I recommend it. Please, go out and buy it today! Spend hours playing, raising puppies, making SimBabies, buying, building! Hahahahahahaha! Muahahahahahahahahehehehehehe! Hoohoohoohoo!
